But most of them dont accept "dollar bills". They accept BTC (always) and some of them accept altcoins. Rest of the process functions like you have already said.

I tend to agree with the suggestion above, it is good if you will send a private message directly on their Bitcointalk account and ask their social media account like a telegram to have the fastest conversation and to verify that you are dealing in the right escrow service, not a fake one.

As what mentioned above, escrows here are willing to help for any kind of transactions but if you're offering a cash payment, it would be hard since mailing cash is prohibited in most mails even it bypass in country's origin there's still chance that it would be noticed on the receiver's (escrow) country.

Besides this is bitcoin related forum, at least make it one of the option for payment when transacting here.

My question is why to choose to come here, to BTC forum marketplace, knowing that 99.9% of all trades (buy, sell, etc.) are based and bounded in BTC? When you can easily buy with cash from other marketplaces without even use escrow services. Not to mention that I seriously dought that we have around sellers who accept cash this way.
My polite guess? You want to move cash under the radar with the excuse of "buying stuff"...

Accepting physical cash has lot of difficulties and disadvantages, never knew anyone in this forum doing escrow for cash deals.But you cam try with the escrow mentioned above but physical cash may never be accepted atleast you need to use bank wire transfer and also you have to accept all the fee.

I'm about to suggest Dabs as your escrow but he's not accepting cash but he's ok with wire transfer. He's a trusted guy but he has a term that the people who will ask him to escrow should understand what his rules are. His thread is interesting and won't require you that much time to read his past deals.

It could be not that expensive, but as above said, escrows here   is highly unlikely will not accept cash (not heard anyone do so) not unless its a deal personally between parties. And its not a common way to deal with an escrow here, so probably you cannot find any escrow that deals in such way.

Yes, the collectibles board is one of the examples. But there's no one there transact with cash and using escrow.

What if it's btc I want to buy with cash and that's why I'm here? Makes sense doesn't it? ATMs take a large fee, exchanges and other in-person services reveal identity, lots of legitimate reasons I'd want to use cash with trusted escrow to buy btc even if it's not as common. Very polite guess though

That's true but in order to keep your identity secret, you have to "pay" a (bigger) price. Either a lot more regarding fees or making an in-person deal, with whatever that entails.
Unfortunately, dealing with straight cash is not the best option (atm) for buying BTC unless you know someone in rl.
Perhaps to try getting a debit crypto card that has no mandatory ID verification? Still, your limits will be low but it's something from nothing. No offense, you don't want to know my impolite ones. I've seen more than a lot over the years, so excuse me if I offended you.

have you heard about  Money Order? this is the way of sending Cash to another person through mail. and it's legal and 100% safe. you can even send money through money order to other countries.  and you can use Westren Union.
The problem is not sending of the money. the problem is that escrow. I think there is no such Escrow providers who hold a Fiat Cash Escrow.  OP has to find another solution or look somewhere else for his desired person.

Most of the time, sending physical cash is prohibited and even if it's allowed, there's some declaration involved, like AUSTRAC

If you mail or ship physical currency in Australian or foreign currency with a combined value of A$10,000 or more out of Australia you must declare it to an Australian Border Force officer, police officer or directly to AUSTRAC. You must do this before sending the currency out of Australia.

I have never heard that the form of Money Order is illegal any where in the world. What I know is Money order is legal and accepted almost every part of the world and you can even send money orders to other countries too.

In the country where I live Money Order is sent through government's post services. So, it is completely legal and safe (except if the post officer himself steal your money).

This website https://www.usps.com/international/money-transfers.htm provides services to send money internationally to several countries as you said.

Moneygram and Westrenunion are good options too. Even I prefer Westren Union more than Money Order and Moneygram.
