Can I Invest in China or anywhere where electricity is cheap and the mining pools or companies there can generate earnings/profit for their investors?
What are the best bitcoin mining stocks out there and do these mining companies pay a cash dividend and are they regulated? I'm looking for the longest running and established and can such mining companies go bankrupt when bitcoin prices go to the lows and has this happened in the past?
If mining costs and difficulty goes down then share prices should go up as long electricity costs are cheap right?
Hi mate!
Saw some documentaries about Bitcoin and Ethereum Mining Facilities located mostly at cold places forgot what specific country was that.
But overall you need consider things when dealing with this investment thing.
1. Are you investing in someone you know who owns the facility or mining farm?
-You really need to reassess this and met someone you'll entrust your money into. If you'll invest millions, do your best to go directly and visit the site. Unless you saw that things are working and for real, things should need a contract for your safety and security.
2. Are you investing in a website only?
-There are a lot of cloud mining that are mostly scams and photos they used are from different resources to lure people to invest in them. If you think its not, research more since again, its your hard-earned money.
3. Does it offer fixed profits or earnings?
-If this offers fixed money profit potential then be skeptical my friend. Everything has risks. Investing, trading, business, everything. What are the risks of mining farms? These are the questions you need to ask to yourself. What if price gets lower again? I mean they are mining cryptocurrencies, example Ethereum. What if this goes lower again? This means bad for mining owners since they need higher prices to sell for their operational expenses like electricity, salaries for people managing it, etc. What I want to say is that, there is no guaranteed that you are happy all the time. Especially in a capitulation, a lot of small mining farms stops there operation because of the low prices they get from the cryptos they mined.
Overall, be careful. Check everything and be mindful in your decision making. Stay safe!
