Bios won't recognize mining software SSD - Solved

I'm trying to set up a new rig with a new motherboard z390-p. I'm running Windows on one SSD and can see the other SSD with hive OS on in my computer. However, I can't see the hive SSD in the bios. I tried disconnecting the Windows SSD, but it still doesn't show up.

Any ideas on how to get it to recognize it in the bios?

Re-flashing the SSD with the Hive OS did the trick.

Why use an SSD drive for this purpose? You can use any 8GB USB flash drive. This will save you money and space in your computer case.
Using an SSD disk for Linux does not significantly increase the speed of loading the farm.

You should check the CSM, and make sure this feature has been enabled. To enable CSM, go to Boot >>> CSM >>> Launch CSM >>> Enabled.

Another configuration under CSM feature:
- Boot Device Control: UEFI and Legacy OPROM
- Boot from network devices: Legacy Only
- Boot from storage devices: Legacy Only
- Boot from PCI-e devices: Legacy Only
