Hey all! since the trends change and a new wave of traders is entering the crypto sphere I have a question;

Which platforms/social media/blogs/forums are you active on the most? I see that crypto Twitter is on the rise lately being very popular among traders.

I would basically just like to interact with others, share info, and see what others are posting. where to? Thanks!

Honestly, not a big deal on whatever platform you choose as long as it meets your set of criteria. After all, we have different preferences.

Twitter is not really on the rise lately. It's being used since then to promote any crypto-related service not just with trading.

If you are comfortable on that specific platform, then considered that as your "best place".

I'm mostly active in the forum and also do follow mainstream media on Facebook that has dedicated crypto pages. If you want to interact with others, you are the right and most known bitcoin forum.
Just post on the proper section and ask things that you want. You can create a thread and a relevant topic to make a discussion.

Most of my learning on trading cryptocurrency before was using Youtube. I keep watching different videos about trading, non-crypto, or cryptocurrency as long as you get the proper way of trading, like reading different candlesticks, chart patterns, and most important the risk management (e.g. risk: reward ratio).

Maybe Twitter is the best social media to get such posts about related points that you need.
However, so far, I personally use telegram, both channel and also discussion group. there are many telegram groups and channels to learn about it. But, be careful to choose the right group. I personally join the local group in my country. So, you may also find such a thing in your local area.
Actually, this forum also provides such information, like here in this trading discussion board. You can find a lot of information here, use the search button if you may need certain information or details. It may help

Which platforms/social media/blogs/forums are you active on the most? I see that crypto Twitter is on the rise lately being very popular among traders.

Well you are already here, why look for any other source when this forum is the best out there, nothing comes close to this community in terms of crypto members knowledge.

I would basically just like to interact with others, share info, and see what others are posting. where to? Thanks!

You can do the same here, you just have to read the rules and not violate any. And then we have different boards and sub boards for the right topic. I don't know if you are a crypto newbie, but don't make things complicate you, stick here and you will be good.

Just remember that all these platforms have scammers if you are a beginner make sure that you are only looking for knowledge and not money because you may encounter many scams on any platform. Do not also interact too much with strangers, many scammers are good at communicating and persuading but if you are good enough about the crypto world, no matter how good she or he is you will not get scammed.

Better to gain knowledge first before minding on earning money, there are many platforms we can use to learn much information, just focus on it.

Both of these media are easy media and are widely used by many people to talk about crypto. Talking about a lot of social media, of course everyone has differences, this depends on their needs. I think you (op) need to try them all if you want to have some hands-on experience. From there you will be able to decide the outcome for yourself. But you need to be careful because not all news on social media is always true, there are many scammers.

If that so, he/she doesn't have to use or visit the other platforms besides here as he will found so many interesting topics to read or practice by himself/herself. But that will give more knowledge if he can find for the other news from out there, so he/she can compare with what he/she found, so he/she can analyze more to know the truth.

Yes, I agree that he/she needs to be careful to search for the news on social media. Social media is a good place, but the influencer is not always a good person.

It's healthy for traders to find opportunities to socialize as their activity is quite lonely, but they should be careful not too be influenced too much about other people's trading ideas and charts.
Crypto Twitter is a great place for entertainment, I'll say that.  Cheesy

For more in-depth discussions about charting and all that I'd look for a telegram or preferably discord trading group.

Here ,you can interact here with other members you can say and get the response you want to know as traders.

If you have group of friends that are continue doing trading. then, you can make your own group and give everyone suggestions that you think can help to improve your knowledge about trading in that case you are helping each other to grow.

Crypto twitter is flooded with shilling self proclaimed crypto influencers. There were a lot of them lurking around Twitter, be careful you might follow one of them and get fooled in buying shitcoins.
Reading trading blogs would be much safer, and of course consulting with members in this community. There are a lot of expert users in the field of trading in this community, and you're very much welcome to raise questions.

There are many places that can be used as a place for traders to discuss and share anything about the development of crypto. Twitter is indeed one of the social media that is currently widely used by traders. But not only positive things, there are many negative things that exist on Twitter and must be avoided.
Apart from socializing on twitter, telegram is also one of the places I choose because there is a lot of information that can be obtained from various crypto channels. But all return to the convenience of traders, choose a good place and avoid FUD, and other fake news. All places are good, but what makes them bad is the user of the place.

You seem right to give that information. Social media isn't the best teacher of trading because there are fake guys who no nothing about trading but they copy comment, analysis to their page that you follow but no profit to it. Reading of the basis like you have listed is better, like candlesticks.

I had been into few skype and telegram groups and enjoyed good signals and perfect guidelines but none of them lasted till date. Some people do start out of their own interest or due to some reason (maybe they might have got paid for doing so, who knows) but they are not showing same interest once they do get established which eventually result in inactive groups. I usually remove myself such groups like in telegram it is "leave the channel".

Definitely I can recommend this place as one of the best place for crypto traders but they need to check multiple boards like speculation and altcoin discussion and then bitcoin discussion so that they may keep themselves updated with respect to latest events of crypto space.

Youtube video tutorials and exchange that has a demo trading is the best place to go while you're catching knowledge in trading.  Just avoid joining a group that has a personal opinion, or just like what GreatArkansas said above, most of them are shilling or having drama which is lead us in the wrong direction.  Telegram group channel sometimes is good but I will choose only a reputable one, just like the Cointelegraph telegram channel for the news update.  Gathering news is sometimes worth it to have your own technical analysis.

Bitcointalk forum is also a good place to learn, a Wall Observer thread where you will learn reading a candlestick chart and give daily news updates.

Anyway, there are many too many places if you really want to learn about trading.  Just a piece of advice, avoid joining paid pump and dump group on any social media, they are sucks.

I don't know it's best place but indeed decent choice to those who begin their journey in the crypto trading. I'm taking about Nominex trading course, after completing the course you'll receive money in trust trading. Using the bonus you can get real money by showing up your trading skills. In Nominex there lots of option to grow your skills and i'm pretty satisfied their service.

His not looking for a Platform to trade , his looking for a platform that he can share and get ideas that he can use in trading . that course that nominex offer can help him to increase his knowledge  and also use it in trading. but I also think that he is also looking for a platform where he can talk to other professionals who can also share their trading experience to him and give him more tips .

This forum and Twitter is usually my go to post when it's all about having discussions.

But, when there are things I want to learn I have to make use of websites like Blockgeeks, Medium and Reddit, though it all depends on what I want to learn, and these three websites usually carry lots of articles that are mostly focused on teaching. Then when I want to read news on cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin, I go to Cointelegraph.com, coindesk, Twitter (I have to follow some accounts that are focused on crypto and posting updates on it).

Above all, this forum is quite helpful and this is where most people come to learn and share info.
