Hi,

In 2013 I bought a prefunded silver LTC 3-coin set here on the forum from Smootie. Since my account was hacked Im again a newbie here. I need money because I bought a house with my girlfriend, so I decided to sell the set.

The coins are funded with 5, 10 and 25 Litecoins. They are not graded and will come in the original case and all the certificates. The capsules are ingraved with #6. I believe there are only around 80 of these sets produced so this is an early one. I prefer payment in BTC. Looking for around 1 BTC.

I'm living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Picking it up somewhere here in the Netherlands is possible. On request I can make additional photo's. If someone prefers an escrow service, I'm happy to hear.

Here some pictures. Somehow I dont get a preview of the pictures here, so I added the URL's.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Btw, since I'm a newbie I can only reply one PM an hour. So it can take some time before you get an answer.

Very nice coins Smiley
Escrow service would be advantage to yourself and the buyer and there are several highly reputable people in this section of the forum who I’m sure would gladly offer there services - Euro and US .
Good luck with your sale  Smiley

Nice coins, but are you really looking for 6 times the loaded value??  You might want to bring those expectations down significantly.

I'm not really into the market but the last two times this set sold on here it went for 1,25 and 0,75 BTC.

So that's the reason I think 1 BTC is realistic. Everybody is free to make me an offer though Smiley

I appreciate the fact you took the time to do a little research as most newbies don't even bother doing that.  You should have also looked at what BTC to LTC was at the time of sale on those.  However, you are using a charity auction hosted by Charlie Lee with proceeds going to the Litecoin Foundation in you 2019 example.... I also have something from that example:

I'm starting the auction at face value 40 LTC, which is about 0.3 BTC. Bids will be in BTC. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Litecoin Foundation

Today 40 LTC = roughly 0.17 BTC

Nearly double what it was at the time of that auction....

The other example BTC was $9500 and LTC was about $60.00.... today $13k BTC and $55 LTC..... do you see where you have an issue with your math?

Using examples like those with no context just comes off as being less than truthful.

Congrats on the house BTW and good luck with your sale, just be a bit more realistic.

Thanks guys for the reaction, calculation and explanation Smiley
These are with me from 2013. Sold all my digital coins last couple years. These (and a 2011 casascius 1 BTC coin) are all my crypto's that have left. That's the reason I only eant to sell it for a good price. Now I know that 1 BTC is maybe a bit much. Have to say that I dont really need the money to buy the house. Already have the mortgage, but some extra financial space would be great Wink As said, Im open for all offers
