why is everyone putting the blame on btc because altcoins are dumping . the situation between Alts and btc are now changed and they are in reversed position , btc is now the one that is stable and altcoins are now decreasing and recovering but don't let the situation take over at you because this can be an illusion , btc can collapse anytime and it's can cause more damage because btc already have an history  .

Alts are still less risky despite of thier dumped lately but itl take a long time for alts to give you a good profit .
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

With the exception of stablecoins, BTC is currently the least volatile cryptocurrency, so it is possible that every investor sells altcoins to convert their portfolios to BTC. This situation is quite similar to November 2017, and we have to wait for BTC to correct and go sideways before we see altcoins pumping.

The winner can be selected by one's purpose of investment. HERE are holder who does hold for limited time and some   does the same and it's limitless so they will defenately choose the bitcoin. As well as here are small investor and trader  they will choose the altcoins as theirmarket condition and it is perfect to give them profit. So the purpose does matters.

So far, if we invest better in bitcoin, altcoins only last a short time to have a high price,
while for bitcoin has a very high price from year to year even though bitcoin sometimes fluctuates in price,
but bitcoin has survived so far.

I would like to say that I would prefer investing in Bitcoin rather than an altcoin (except altcoins like Ethereum etc.). I believe that altcoins are riskier than Bitcoin. I can't trust an altcoin as much as Bitcoin. We know Bitcoin has been in the industry for more than 10 years and it is at the top among other cryptocurrencies.

The best investment is Bitcoin.

If your goal is to increase your bitcoin supply, then you can trade altcoins.  When the price of Bitcoin rises, the price of altcoins rises even faster.  When the price of Bitcoin goes down, the price of altcoins goes down even faster.

Attention!
Altcoin prices may go down.

Of particular importance is the Monero cryptocurrency (0.0091 BTC, $ 123).  This is the best anonymous cryptocurrency.

I think Monero is a very promising investment asset.

Monero is Satoshi Nakamoto's vision.  If Satoshi Nakamoto hadn't created Bitcoin, he would have created Monero.

If we are going to compare them Bitcoin is still in advantage because if you are going to check the bitcoin dominance it is still sitting at 63% which is still very high. The dominance percentage is already enough evidence how bitcoin dominate all the altcoins out there but if the bitcoin dominance will likely to decrease then it is the time for the altcoin to make their move if they want to catch up to bitcoin.

Altcoins are still very far to be compared to bitcoin not unless the big whales will shift their investment to altcoins instead of bitcoin meaning they will boycott bitcoin and they will pump the altcoins.

You can think whatever you wish, but there's no bitcoin vs alts in real time, maybe today bitcoin have better performance than some alts, tomorrow you will see bitcoin going down and some alts going up, it's a free market! Overall with bitcoin you risk less, volatility is good for short trades, it's good for long run... but it's what you can find in other coins too! Simply people shouldn't be obsessed just with bitcoin (but if you are that's not something bad), there are other good projects with great potential! Explore them, give them a chance, without risk you can't make a decent profit!

Bitcoin has consistently given indication of authority while altcoins follow. The ongoing price flood was because of PayPal combination of Bitcoin and some altcoins in their platform. This was bullish for bitcoin as everybody has been expecting the news previously, we may expect more pump by mid 2021 when this is complete.

The motivation behind why a few alts has not been pumping is a result of pattern, lion's share of altcoins have their minutes half a month back when bitcoin was merging somewhere in the range of 10.5k and 11k, presently it's the ideal opportunity for bitcoin to sparkle.

September was a hot months for altcoins, Ethereum experience the biggest exchanges so far since the last bull run in 2017, DeFi free for all woke practically all the alts, Link, band, Atom and top different altcoins were completely pumped weeks prior. There's nothing terrible for increment in bitcoin strength

Bitcoin pumped the there is massive dump shown in the Altcoins. whether the Bitcoin is now stable and mostly Altcoin are recovering with slow rate but atleast they recover. I think the mostly an altcoins are recovered on their previous rate in 1-4 days or maybe big pump also. I want to know your thoughts about this Bitcoin versus and altcoin. I know that Bitcoin shows the massive pump and dump at the same time but are looking altcoin give higher profit because they are less risk. What's your thought about this?
my point of view bitcoin is always great  because in crypto everything depend on bitcoin, if bitcoin pump then we can see altcoins are bleeding badly but at the time alts are recovering but not alts cant do it. so i always prepare to bitcoin

Bitcoin fluctuation is normal in crypto market, the movement whether to increase it's price or decrease. But I don't think that bitcoin was stable, if it slips it's price, huge amount could lose and thus inversely proportional when it increases, also pumps with a great amount, but not being stable.

Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency that everyone knows about.  Someone heard about bitcoins in 2014 ... Someone - in 2017 (bull run, 1 BTC = $ 20,000, soon the price will reach $ 100,000, etc.)

Is it possible to create a more technological cryptocurrency than Bitcoin?  Yes, of course.

Can you create a more hype investment asset?  Yes, of course (e.g. ICO, DeFi, etc.).

However, Bitcoin will always be the first cryptocurrency.  Its capitalization will be the largest.

For long-term investments, you need to buy Bitcoin.

Regarding which is better to invest with now that the market is having a very good time on either bitcoin or altcoins I would definitely chooses bitcoin as being shown by its dominance in the market and how it really boost up other cryptos as well which it the very best in terms of investment.

If we consider bitcoin or altcoins to invest now for a long time, I would choose altcoins because many of them are on the historical bottoms... Bitcoin, on the contrary, is at the level of annual resistance...

Bitcoin or Altcoin fluctuations are very stressful, but it can be used to make a nice profit. even so, slowly but surely, bitcoin will improve its price in the market, because Bitcoin is another cryptocurrency benchmark.

and I suggest when you want to invest in cryptocurrency, learn, and hold your lust because crypto fluctuates are very tense and tantalizing, and choose stable coins like Ethereum, Usdt, Dogecoin, or top 10 altcoins.

Bitcoin is safer than altcoins. Many altcoins are currently falling in price amid the strengthening of Bitcoin prices and large investors will certainly prefer Bitcoin, apart from the fact that Bitcoin is the main currenty in the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin has the largest liquidity so it is easy to make transactions

Bitcoin is the king of crypto world and will be that is certain. If you're looking last few months of bitcoin price stats it's clearly indicate it's set to hit new ath since Bitcoin has been on total fire this year. Investors and holders are already converting their alts into bitcoin and bitcoin soaring up.

bitcoin is still bitcoin, its value and popularity will not decrease. because the parent crypto name cannot be shifted. while the interest in altcoin popularity is counted only in terms of current trends, which will eventually fade back and disappear. Haven't we seen a lot of how various kinds of altcoins have sprung up. in fact, the higher the bitcoin pump, the lower the pump from altcoins.
Some altcoins are following the price pump of bitcoin but this time it seems bitcoin alone stand out. Thats why we have alts season like early of 2018 wherein most alts are soaring high while bitcoin experience correction after the 2017 bullrun.

Well lets just enjoy for a while the price increase of bitcoin and wait for alts to do the same. If the alts you hold is established then there's nothing to worry because it wont turn as shitcoin.

I think that the altcoins are risky than bitcoin because in the last year the majority of altcoins did not recover after a big dump in the exception of some known tokens with the big volume like dash bnb litecoin and eth ...etc on the countrary bitcoins always recover even if the price hits 5k and with this big pump recently i think the bitcoin will reach a higher price soon.

~snip~
Tokens or Coins whose price does not recover after the dump are mostly shitcoins, it is better to avoid coins like this,
Bitcoin will remain the best at least until the bullish end to come, because there is a chance bitcoin will Bubble and altcoins will replace bitcoins.

Here my thought is trust, because Bitcoin couldn't dump below 12k USD for mining cost where some altcoins supply is unknown. Even some altcoins are making fake sold announcements. I support that altcoins are more profitable but Bitcoin is trustworthy. After a few weeks altcoins will pump as Bitcoin is now over 14k USD.
