I'm not a big fan.  Let me qualify that:

The functionality seems to be the same, and that is the important part.  So no complaint there.

It IS better than the old site.

It just seems a little "hippie" and not at all profesional like a bank site.  But then, most bank sites suck.  The calculator and the circles seems a bit frivolous.

But then, it IS better than before.  Smiley

Like I said, tho, I could really care less how it looks.  I care about how it works.  Speed up cash deposits at Chase bank.  Speed up response time from support.  Those are my main 2 issues.

+9001.
Mtgox loves focusing on superficial things.  How about functionality for a change?

Yeah but adding in a few static images to spruce up the look of the site I'm sure is low hanging fruit and easy to throw in there whereas I'd assume adding functionality is another animal altogether.

Bad news, 'In order to make Euro deposits you need to have a "verified" or "trusted" account status.'

No worries, just another added functionality.

What's the problem?  I'm verified, it took me 5 minutes to scan and send the documents, and they had me verified the next day.

The mobile access sync isn't working. The QR code gets stretched out.

Can you please provide us more information that we can fix this issue (screenshot, Os, Browser...)

Yep it does, a few new "visible" security features will also come soon as well.

I don't like that they've removed the "Depth of Market" feature. On my wish list is a "Time and Sales" feature too.

You can't win if you don't play. But you can't play if you lose all your chips. First I found bitcoin (BTC). Then I found something better, Monero (XMR). See GetMonero.org

Notice how when anyone asks "Why didn't you tell us this WEEKS ago???" they never respond?

To be fair, I saw this scroll by on IRC today:

(Most useless messages removed)
Quote
[10:49] <@MagicalTux> right now we cannot wire to Paxum because of the investigations on money laundering
[10:51] <Ukto> paxum fail?
[10:51] <deego> MagicalTux: So, that's why my three withdrawal requests are pending for 3 weeks?  Couldn't that have been communicated to us 2 weeks ago so we could cancel our requests?
[10:51] <mindphlux> Why do other exchanges have not the same kind of liquidity problems on paxum?
[10:51] <deego> Anyhow, cancel requests don't work with mtgox any more either.
[10:52] <Ukto> hmm, part of the reason I don't like these 3rd party processors
[10:56] <@MagicalTux> mindphlux: other exchanges are not dealing with the same volumes we are
[10:56] <mindphlux> ok
[10:56] <@MagicalTux> once they get a bit bigger they'll hit the same compliance issues we do
[10:56] <mindphlux> So, honest question, why don't you remove paxum then if it's only providing problems
[10:56] <@MagicalTux> we should be able to send funds to paxum again once the investigation clears us

It seems quite notable to me that there is an investigation which requires Mt. Gox to allow their customers to continue to request withdrawls via Paxum, then completely lock up any money requested in that manner.  For weeks.

I have to assume that the investigation requires this because it seems like exceedingly poor business practices if it is a voluntary mode of operation on Mt. Gox's part. Obviously it is impossibly to tell very much by reading people's posts on this forum, but some of those who have complaints really don't strike me as hard-core financial criminals.

Good job guys, the site design is a lot better than before. I'm sure that this will be great for Bitcoin considering that, "As of July 2011 Mt.Gox handles over 80% of all Bitcoin trade".

I liked the old trade data graphs better than Mt.Gox Live.  Keep a link to Mt.Gox Live but please put the old graphs back.
