There are many reason for bitcoin price reach 15k or even more than that. As you mentioned paypal now is accepting bitcoin for for their service and also you can see at this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284970.0 that now Toyota is already to create its digital currency for their company. These are a good news for crypto currency at the end of this year.

Also, we can see bitcoin price yesterday that has reached $13400 barrier on binance exchange. It means we just need $1500 to reach $15.000 and seem like if this a good trend still continue we can see it at the end of this week. But we can't rely on it, there will be many possibilities to make this uptrend market will change. As we all know, if there is a bad news come or something bad happened we will see bitcoin's price will dump a lot.

I think it is brilliant move and will bring more money into the market that's definitely push bitcoin $15k by the end of the year. Paypal news just of one trigger that works temporary, we need more strong reason to see bitcoin market such level. Hopefully, we'll achieve it until the end of 2020.

Bitcoin price may cross 15k dollar before the end of this year but I think it won't stay above there for so long. The recent price movement of bitcoin is really surprising! If it continuously flows like this then we will see a new ATH of bitcoin price within this year. But as Lucius said we might see a correction in crypto price soon. And in my opinion we may see a dramatic movement of bitcoin price within the first half of next month.

I don't think $15K is significant and its also not really a resistance area. Currently the resistance areas are $13.8K which was high from 2019 and maybe $16K area which was the weekly resistance before the all time high of $20K.

Its a round number but its not as significant as $10K. Just like if BTC breaks $20K, then $30K won't be as significant as $50K, or $100K. Hence I wouldn't bet anything on the $15K figure.

If we break the $14K area we might head straight into $16K area however with the election coming up who knows what will happen.

We still have 2 months later to see if bitcoin can cross $15k at the end of this year or need more time to reach that price in the next year. But I think it could be possible for bitcoin to break $15k this year, especially if there is a good news release that can lift bitcoin price to break $14k and $15k. We know that the bitcoin price can increase anytime without waiting for the end of this year, so we can wait for more and buy bitcoin if we want.

We can draw or predict that will happen, but we don't know the truth about what will happen at the end of this year. Perhaps, we will see the uptrend and downtrend happen at 2 months later, and we need to be careful because the drops can come into the market without notice. This time, bitcoin needs to have more support to increase and break $14k because that is the next higher price that bitcoin price needs to touch. We will see it later.

Seems like it will not mate because now we are dropping back to $12,000 because Bitcoin price decreased 500$ as i type this post.
and also 15k is too large for this Year alone we need to see the Bull before considering that hype mate and more or less will happen next year and not this one.
Not unless if there are high demand though i'm sure whales will not move this high for now.
specially that US election is near to come and surely the market will move up and down.

All these speculations and predictions is very risky especially for newbies or new investors, some people are carried away with present pumped in price of Bitcoin and not knowing that btc can also  retrace and dump massively as well. the price had dumped from $13800 to $12900 just within 24 hours and could further go down as well.
Adoption of Bitcoin by PayPal had an impact on the price already and I believe the dust had settled thus price hitting $15K is not guaranteed yet.

for the big rallies to start, sometimes all that is needed is a little push to get the rises started by bringing in the money that has been waiting on the sidelines to see a positive signal before jumping in. this is happening now, whether this was because of Paypal news or not is irrelevant in my opinion, the only thing that matters is that the momentum is here now.

Correct its news of a future tie up not actual demand afaik, you want to really move a price I think it will take more then speculation by itself and paypal is a rise in anticipation of expected movement and greater demand.    Of course we could be rising now from prior events like halvening some think accumulates into price rises, thats possible or more probable as its an actual change building over time in its effect.

The current support is around $13k, if we can maintained it in mid-November and then see the price picking up in the $14'ish, definitely $15k is doable at the end of the year. And as long as we will see positive news in the market and new blood pumping the price again, then there is a good chance. But the main hurdle for now is the US election, because I believed that it can cause some minor and short term negative effect on crypto sphere.

It may happen because speculation is still rolling about the news that payapl allows bitcoin but still not all demand will increase but at least this is good news where there is a lot of adoption of bitcoin with big companies.

Well, a lot of good news spreading lately with bitcoin and I think others are still accumulating some at this stage of price. Anyone could predict, so once the movement leads above $14k it is a positive note in 2 months time bitcoin may cross $15k. Let's see what price will hit this coming months since market is volatile and no one could gives detailed information about the market status.

The way it climbed from 11-13k if the same pattern continues then we might be talking about 20k next month but being realistic I think the price boost already happened that is a big thanks to PayPal but now I don't expect much of a increase in price until the end of the year so yeah 15k is genuinely possible but the chances are that there will be a small dip as always followed by a boost and then we should settle somewhere around 13k until a late surge this year might bring it close to 14k.

That's just my estimation and I have been often tricked by bitcoins gladly so I won't be too surprised if I am wrong by at even 3-4k USD value. When the price rises everyone earns no matter if they hold big or small so technically we all hope that the price goes as high as possible but we have to be realistic when analyzing prices.

Correct! it's really risky for those who are just following the speculations of other people, without proper research newcomers are prone of losing their money in the short period of time.


The volatile nature of bitcoin will bring big losses when fomos rush in to ride and whales easily move and dumped their coins, it's needed to analyze everything before taking your side.

It's not impossible that we will see the price in that level if more progress and adoptions
take place, PayPal did the impact and expect if more to come then value might be more
higher than expected.

Basically, the current handwriting's on the wall by Bitcoin shows that it price at the end of this year can surpass the aforementioned price above, becasue the last time Bitcoin hit all time high this year was almost at $14k. The good news coming into the technology can make anyone predict the price of Bitcoin to be more pretty high than before, PayPal accepting the buy and sell of Bitcoin is a plus which will get Bitcoin a good bullish thread before and after the year end.

There's a possibility that it will crossed the $15 k mark the PayPal news is one of the news that contributed why the price is moving upwards and it's not only that, people are buying because of the halving, they know that history will be repeating itself and the first quarter of the year is the period that Bitcoin will reach another all time high.

With PayPal industry coming into the world of cryptocurrency will make it a huge success for adoption and this has been awaited for. They are allow to buy and sell Bitcoin among it investors and we all know that they have large numbers of investors. This will on a long term help cryptocurrency to be adopted among users of PayPal. Personally, this will be a sure way that the world will soon adopt digital currency and Bitcoin will observe bullish for profit taking.

I also think that we can talk about exceeding the $15k level as something completely certain until end of December, maybe even in November. There is also enough time until the end of the year to reach the new ATH, but I'm not so sure about that. My opinion is that $20k should be achieved within 2 - 4 months. What will happen next is hard to say, but $50k in 2021 is very real in my opinion.
