Convincing the elderly to change votes seems a very light case of fraud but still illegal. There are far worse.

I haven't looked into the story in Texas, but here's a great analysis of how Project Veritas was able to fool so many Trump supporters into believing their story (disinformation) about voter fraud/ballot harvesting in Minnesota was credible.

It can happen. Many people are highly intellectual and has a good initiative when it comes to cheating. I do not know why these people are like this when winning without cheating is the best way to win. In this case the motivation is very clear and that is to get the power granted to the position offer as the highest form of position in the government being elected as the president. Hopefully that managing the whole country will not be affected by the self interest of the leaders. If it will do then we can expect other country to surpass US in terms of economy growth.
