Everyone has their own needs. We dont need the financial situation of a person you quoted. For someone gaining 20-40% profit might be enough, while other is ready to wait for 200% minimum. Imho - right time to sell is the time when you need money urgently. Otherwise it wont be wise to sell and to keep fiat or crypto. Money must work. Or when you have real plans and necessity for funds.

If their is no emergency that warrants that,  I won't advice anyone to sell 50% of his assets just for the fear of future dump or fall.  BTC is obviously not going to fall but will keep increasing.  The coin dominate more than 60% of current market cap and we still expect it to even increase more soon.  Hence,  any coin worth buying is worth keeping

You are absolutely right that it is not easy to answer "What is the best time to sell Bitcoin" because you never know what high is really high and what low is really low. Even selling a small amount of Bitcoin while you know that Massive adoption of Bitcoin is going on rapidly, is a tough choice. I think the best answer could be , First of all you have to decide either you are Long term Investor and can wait for years for potentially massive payoff or you are a Trader and want to take advantage of opportunity of selling and buying.. Traders can book short term profit by following the signals generated by Technical Indicators/charts. In case of Bitcoin I have observed that it is better to work with weekly and Monthly charts rather than daily chart if you are a swing trader. For Day trader 4 Hrs chart works fine to take entry and exit.

Best time to sell actually is on the time you had already make out some profits.We might missed up the peak but what matter most is that we do able to make money out of that sell action.
