In my experience any coin which is holding by traders always goes to all time high level where we should sell. Trading cryptocurrencies is game of sentiment now these days. After buying people thinking too much about their investments but the main aim should be sell at their pick run. Holders always win the race. Patient is key of success and this will help us for selling at big green candle.

Holding coin some time can loss more but when selling price pump, still most effective way how to know with coin potential with holding and keep profitable for long term or short term hold. I will sell coin if raise profit but keep holding without reach 10% profit maximum and become most profitable if above 50% profit.

Aside from what you said, one strategy to fix our stuck and not betray our expectations is to take back our initial capital and use the interest to keep the expectation, that means if we have the correct expectation, our returns will still increase and on the contrary, our mistakes will not be cut too deep into capitalization, simply wasting a bit of profit in exchange for an opportunity. However, it should also be limited with this strategy, not massively and should be able to judge the market situation

I've been greedy before and thought that it will increase some more but I've missed and did wrong. I've only sold a few during the good times years ago and that's why on this bull run.

I had committed the same mistakes but only into those alts that ive been keep holding for how many years already where i do saw some pumps in price or able to reach out some all time highs

but i didnt tend to sell it out and wait  up for  more time for the price to reach a certain level until it crashed and leave me behind on regretting on not to sell into that great opportunity
for me to make some money or good profit.

This was really a lesson learned for me and thats why its really important to secure profits while you still can.

the truth is that no one can sell at the top , sometimes it happen by chance but you just need to take profit when your greed permits and never mind whatever happens again. if you refuse to sell at a high price and it dips you must be ready to wait longer time to sell at high price. everything is a journey.

Nothing to do now if you already sold your assets, it's risky to invest back if you didn't research more deeper. The chance that you'll just fomoing and trying to ride back will lead you to lose your investment.

Always have a good set of plans before doing anything, the market is full of surprises unless you really know what's your take with any sentiments inside the market, you'll probably still in good hands.

Yeah, when we are unable to predict with 100% accuracy then we cannot find any best time to book profits. Having plans through technical analysis will get anyone to somehow mange to catch the best time to sell still there cannot be anything guaranteed in crypto markets. What most people do is, they just fix target levels and they may not bother about best timing but they just need what level of profits for their capital, that's it.

It means you may target some 10% for your capital and then you can book profits and forget all other things. This way you can build your own best time to sell.

For me personally, commonly I use some percentages of the price rate to sell. But of course, not to sell at all.
At least, I can sell about 50% amount of the coins or tokens at certain profit rates. Then, make half of the least based on a certain percentage rising. If the coin has great fundamentals, I will hold it for certain period until the price may be hitting more than 25% increase

Depend with your self how much profit you want to earn each your position entry, for me 10% is more enough and some time after raise 5% I sold my coin and never waiting with bigger profit again, this not good ideas waiting more than 100% profit because many time coin can dump extremely and now little profit is worth than nothing.

I think when the fluctuation is high it can be taken advantage of selling quickly. let's say we've got a profit of 20-30% but if we trust too much to hold and dump we will lose. so when the pump fluctuation position increases, the best option is to sell quickly, because high fluctuations will also make the price low again, and this low price can be used to buy back.

it should depend on how the trader plays, whether the trader wants to be on a daily basis or even long term, in the world of crypto currency if it is bearish it will be difficult to take profit,
just imagine you trade in 2018 to early 2020, of course if you buy it at the most expensive price at that time then you will not be able to move until at least 1 year more,
