Wasn't Muhammad a rapist/pedophile or something? He wasn't this virtuous figure. Guess that's something many muslims seem to disregard when putting religious figures on a pedestal.

People can draw cartoons of Muhammad all they want, and I encourage them to do so. If free speech means anything to developed countries, hopefully that means someone can draw a cartoon of a religious figure without having their head cut off.

The thread is a bit confusing, but I understand that you did not advocate that common people take the law into their own hands. In the USA, in the South, this is called "Vigilante justice." It was a hundred years ago in many places the law that a horse thief would be hung until dead, but vigilante justice occurred when a mob did it.

That was wrong then and is wrong now. Of course today, it'd be both against the law and thought of as absurd that a horse thief would be sentenced to death.

We should respect every religion no religion is as bad as its followers the people of France have protested against the attack on the reason for making cartoons about Mohammad. Shirley Hebdo's cartoons are being shown on numerous floors. They are saying that those who are the enemies of democracy those who use religion as a weapon of war should not be weakened in any way. Christianity is also frustration. Jesus went and suffered and died on the cross for all people (including Muslims) so that they are forgiven for all their mistakes. But all that Muslims do is reject the position that God set Jesus in, for His great sacrifice... ruler over everything in Heaven and Earth.

So, what is Jesus supposed to do with Muslims? In Revelation 19, Jesus is the rider on the white horse. He doesn't want to fight and destroy Muslims. But they frustrate Him so badly by not accepting the only forgiveness, that He offers, that all He can do is destroy them.

Muslims show that they hate Jesus by not accepting that He is the Great One rather than Mohamed. Jesus can't reject the truth. It's the way that he saved Christians in the first place... through the truth. Only thing left to do is destroy the Muslims. But if they turn to believe in Him...

It is true, it should be avoided everything that smells of religion, but as you say now where times have changed and people can say with the freedom that is allowed. so that anything that shows about a religion should not be used as an excuse to commit illegal acts in the name of religion, which obviously does not solve the problem that occurs.

all are now in a state of criticality of belief and easily offended in any way, whereas life should be enjoyed joyfully and not with anger. it is difficult because everyone has their own views when it comes to any religion.

A civilised nation can easily stand above religion. There is no reason to put Islam on a special place above everything else and people can't make cartoons of it or criticise it.  There are laws in place and everyone should obey them. There is no reason to get violent and kill people because of it. To kill people in the name of religion should not be happening anymore. We as humans are more civilised than that.
