Do you happen to know of any fast food restaurants which accepts crypto in the mainstream world? It would be extremely convenience to buy food with crypto anywhere in the world. Since crypto often behaves like cash (no middleman or KYC required), it proves to be even better than credit/debit cards as a payment method. The only issue would be dealing with price volatility. But fast food restaurants can simply convert crypto to Fiat instantly via the use of a payment gateway (like Bitpay or CoinPayments).

I'd imagine this would increase mainstream adoption of crypto at a fast pace. It's true if I am a foreigner, coming to the States and have lunch at KFC. It helps me cut the currency exchange crap before my flight, in which I have to pay a lot of exchange fees for the banks. Crypto with no middlemen does help a lot with this. But other than that, to be honest, I don't find any difference between paying by crypto vs paying by cash or cards.

That's not a bad approach, we're still here and working to support that. The fact that restaurants accept crypto payments, I've heard of it many times, and times like that are all the news of the surprise or hotnews. I think the entry of large corporations has been a confirmation for the next development of crypto, in the near future we will see more large corporations entering this market. And likewise news like this will get everyone's attention.

I love to see something like this happen, especially here in our country where fast food is so popular, it's so popular that we have one in every corner and in every town and this will have a big effect on this technology I love to see this happen in the coming years, we really have to shift to cashless and Cryptocurrency is very much suited to cashless transaction.

so far I haven't seen it. however, it can be quite a classy payment method among people. however, the accepted crypto is definitely popular crypto, and these payments are only used as alternative payments. well, sooner or later, they will. some markets have implemented bitcoin or ethereum payments, which would also apply to fast-food restaurants. i found an article on this, but i don't know if it is true or not, because it is far outside my country.

I actually dont know of any but its not a bad idea and we just just need one big fast food company to accept the crypto and im sure sooner or later others would join... i still dont know how the constant price change would help them but i think some already accept Cashapp payments and using cashapp you already using bitcoin for most of your transactions

Sorry, but I'm not aware of any fast food restaurant, global or local that accepts crypto for now, it will be great to see the likes of McDonald going the picture, there has been news before, but its all speculation. Yes, price volatility is one factor that most of them, not only fast food chain has been totally not accepting crypto as mode of payment.

Again, it will be a big news if some of them accepted it through third party and it could set the precedence. But then again some of them are just franchises who might have thought of trying it but I guess the corporate are not going to allow because the price is unstable, bad for business specially if we have a wild price swing that we witnessed during the Covid-19 scare. I don't think that they can take 50%-60% losses.

It would really be great to know one right now and if they also have a delivery so we could just order up and pay with our crypto.
Most of the time I would run out of cash or Fiat and would convert my crypto to have some money on me to spend for our daily needs.
It is annoying because I have to pay for all the fee just to spend my crypto but it would be great and have less transaction fee if I could directly use my crypto as payment for my needs.

Confirmation time also a big concern when it comes to payment and few restaurant accepted cryptos in the past now stopped ot due to high volatility and long time to wait for the funds to receive into your wallet.

But in future things may get changed, so everyone will start to accept cryptos until that we as a community should try for this to happen.

We should admit that bitcoin isn't a convenient payment method, too much hassle to use it without a third party like Bitpay which automatically converts crypto into fiat currency.
Because it's not just the price volatility, high fees and confirmation time are two things to consider before using it as a direct payment method without a third party.
Some altcoins are better due to instant confirmation and low fees.

We must have learned from the past and from what I have observed and the adoption from the fast-food restaurants will not bring a lot of impact to the crypto.

Ethereum and bitcoin need to be confirmed by miners to make the tx becomes confirmed. You should also see that if you can pay that instantly use case or debit/credit card. IMO, bitcoin could not be used as a payment channel and it's better to use it as an investigation instrument.

There are coins with instant confirmation, but zero fees we still don't have that I only know Nano, if the fast food industries accept Cryptocurrency there could be problem with scalability and traffic in network because fast food is a multi billion business with million of transaction daily, can any coin keep it up, I don't think so.

I don’t know what’s going on right now but a couple years ago cafe Pesto net has excepted crypto via their Paytomat POS. I happened to enjoy their tasteful pizzas and payed for it with crypto. It was also possible to repay with Gbytes in some  restaurants and fast-food cafes  in Milan.

Several fast-food restaurants have been accepting crypto as payment already for quite some time. And this is what we called massive adoption for cryptocurrency. In fact, it's not only fast-food restaurants who's been accepting crypto as payment including some services and travel business also. The increasing value of cryptocurrency makes me think to become a hodler as well and I rarely spend my bitcoin to buy things, and since food is very affordable I think using my fiat money is much more convenient to me.

We have our local restaurants bitcoin who accepted bitcoin as mode of payment but it didn’t last since not everyone are willing to spend their bitcoin and not everyone knows cryptocurrency, although this is a good adoption but I think we are still far from this.

for countries in the world, I've never heard of that information. however on the island of Bali, there is a cafe that accepts crypto payments. Simply scan a barcode via our cellphone which of course uses a crypto wallet, after that the payment is complete. very simple and easy, also fast.

No, It's has been a long time ago, the Indonesian government has been banned those stores that accepting Bitcoin as payment. not only bitcoin, USD, EURO, and another currency, because all payments In Indonesia (Island of Bali) must use Indonesia currency.

Came across an article that elaborated food delivery services accepting cryptocurrencies. It was an old article where it lists around eight services accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In my country I haven't seen any store accepting bitcoin directly, but surfing the internet got to see few stores carrying a board with bitcoin accepted. Here in India, I have seen one coffee shop accepting payments in Bitcoin (when I was visiting Delhi). But apart from that, I haven't seen Bitcoin signs anywhere in any of the shops. Now coming back to the payment part, just 2-3 hours back, I had to pay $9 for a single transaction as fee. The fee is getting sky high, and the time needed for confirmation is also going up. And this makes it very difficult to make the payment in BTC. Do you really think that the shopkeeper will be patient enough to wait for 1 hour?
