I haven't experience to eat or go to a fast food restaurant and make cryptocurrency as a payment method to the food that I have been ordered, maybe there are some restaurants out there that are operating those kind of service but as of now there are a few only that operates like this.
It is true that the alternatives like this will be more convenient for us because the payment method and the transaction will be just cashless in which we will not bring money and just bring our mobiles in order to make an order for those kind of fast food restaurants.

Do you happen to know of any fast food restaurants which accepts crypto in the mainstream world? It would be extremely convenience to buy food with crypto anywhere in the world. Since crypto often behaves like cash (no middleman or KYC required), it proves to be even better than credit/debit cards as a payment method. The only issue would be dealing with price volatility. But fast food restaurants can simply convert crypto to Fiat instantly via the use of a payment gateway (like Bitpay or CoinPayments).

If you happen to know of any fast food restaurant in the US or anywhere in the world which accepts crypto as payment method, please let me know. I'd imagine this would increase mainstream adoption of crypto at a fast pace. Paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum at KFC or Burger King would be so much better than paying with cash or credit/debit cards, in my own opinion. Thoughts? Huh
I have heard a few good number of restaurants are accepting bitcoin or other crypto currencies as a form of payment. They are mainly experimenting with it. But are you sure it is better then credit cards for making payments? Look at the network load right now. There is no other option for you other than waiting for more than an hour for network confirmation unless you are willing to pay the huge network fees. Though you still can use some altcoins and get quick confirmation. Try using https://coinmap.org/ to locate restaurants or merchants near you accepting bitcoin.

The logical opinion to promote the crypto as a payment method but governments are the main barriers on this journey. We should think about the legal part of the story, the rest will be done by the companies. Imho, the restaurants can use altcoins with faster transactions, and paying with a QR code will make both parties happy.

If ever the government would allow this bitcoin transaction payment then it would be good enough knowing that bitcoin will become part of the economic growth of one country. But then suddenly not all of the countries allowed it, and so even here in my country. I didn't encounter yet such a restaurant accepting bitcoin as a payment but as far as i know our country were open minded to the bitcoin but not yet adopted.

Here in the Philippines popular fast food restaurants don't adopt crypto payments yet but I see some small business here accept that payment method. They help to promote cryptocurrencies the way they can.

One reason I think why only few businesses here adopts the use of cryptos is people are not completely aware yet the use of it. Older people here are not techy yet and they still prefer the traditional way.

By small business you mean small shops or individuals that offer services? I havent done and seen anyone using cryptocurrency as a direct payment in real life situation (dont know how to express correctly, "on the street" or "not online").

Can you tell how this deal is performed? People pay by cards or using mobile? I'm not experienced enough with bitcoin fees and just curious how the deal is done. I doubt that you show txhash to seller, take goods or receive service and go away, while seller waits for confirmations.

Several establishments already accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as payment to their products or services for quite some time already. And this is no longer surprising as time passes by Cryptocurrency masa adoption is being in the trend now. We can see some giant companies already joined the cryptocurrency adoption.
As long as there are 3rd party apps that are easy to use and are registered in your country it will be easy to pay via cryptocurrency now, the 3rd party app will be used to convert it directly in the app wherein it is partnered with known restaurants. Soon there might be more companies that will do directly accepting crypto without using 3rd party as payment for their services, items or foods since its adoption is getting more and more during this Pandemic.
Yes, you are right. In the Pandemic times, people learned the importance of using cryptocurrency as payment for their products or services. Even the government recognized the importance of being a cashless society. And using cryptocurrency is the only to make it happen. So we will expect more establishments to use cryptocurrency in the future.

Some users already suggested where you can find restaurants that offer Bitcoin payment methods. Personally, I have not really tried using bitcoin in restaurants because it's rare to find one in my country, so you will probably see one depending on how popular bitcoin is in your country. Before I have already heard several small restaurants offering bitcoin however since there's no much demand using it, they just stop accepting it.

It would be nice to see a growing number of restaurants accepting bitcoin payment because it just means that the adoption is growing but I still think that it's more convenient to use cash when buying foods in restaurants.

The idea is not bad I'd say but I don't think it is worth to use your Bitcoin and Ethereum for any commodities, it would be better if there will be any coin that is less volatile can be used on this one like USDT since the value was also the same as USD.
Regarding the fast-food restaurant, unfortunately, I haven't encountered yet but for transportation, I think I did. And this quite a good idea as well.
It would be convenient though but don't you imagine how the market will be if there's something high volatile will be used in this kind of transaction? And just like you have said the price volatility will be the big issue.

Yep, for restaurants like Burger King and other big Frenchises, I think they also have to get permission first, because in some countries they impose quite difficult regulations in their payment systems. If it's not really popular, I think paying with cash is still better

I am not sure if there were restaurants in our place that accepts cryptocurrencies as mode of payment. It would be exciting if that were the case. I am just concerned by speed of which one can send payments through the network. With all the talk about how some coins have issues with transactions getting on time, we might expect that some people will stay seated for hours and cannot get out of the establishment until there would be confirmation that the coins or tokens has been sent successfully. Still it would be an interesting concept making these as mode of payment.

Speaking of QR codes, do you know if there are some payment brands that already integrates cryptocurrency with the QR code technology? That would be a good addition in making payments and transfers very easy. Just simply scan the code and the app will immediately recognize that you need to pay in Bitcoin so it will send the transaction right away. If that is implemented in fastfoods and other small businesses, then it will be a big leap in Crypto. It is true that governments, through big finance, is blocking efforts to adopt the said technology, but 10 years is small in the scale of things crypto can achieve. Maybe within our lifetime.

Paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum at KFC or Burger King would be so much better than paying with cash or credit/debit cards, in my own opinion.
If it is easy to pay with BTC or ETH, then It can be the option. Not sure if it is much better, moreover if you think to make your BTC or ETH as your investment and their price potentially increase in the near future.  Cheesy Personally, I still prefer to pay with cash or credit cards. But considering to help the adoption of crypto for payment purposes, I may use them to pay sometimes.

Right now it is not maybe other coin can do that but majority of merchants are only aware of coins in the top 5 they will not look for other coins besides Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, the confirmation and the high fees are a big issues, fast food needs to confirm fast and at a much lower fee which right now the top coins cannot address.

I have Found a restauBar that accepts Crypto specifically Bitcoin and Ethereum but not In US instead this located outside My city here in Asia.
The Bar is open from 10am to 4am the next day but upon my investigation it is rarely that People are paying using crypto meaning that in their Place adopters are really rare.
Your opinion is good, but let's agree you will only appreciate it having bitcoin for payment and not that it will be better to using credit card of cash.... Not everyone will prefer it.
We still await more acceptance of bitcoin in many physical markets and stores, I heard of plans to use Pinkoin to buy goods here in my country but I have not seen it.
Not everyone will prefer because they don't know What is crypto,If time comes that people understand what this is?then surely they will use this compared to fiat.
Not unless they have a asset mentality that this is for Holding and not for spending.

I think this is an effective way. We have been in this market for a long time. All payment news that accepts crypto with other products, perhaps the most is crypto with fast food. I think this solution takes time, but its effectiveness is also worth seeing as it has done the job of introducing crypto to many people.

i think bitcoin is not proper yet for order a fast food. because transactions are not fast enough. The better solution would be accepting an utility token in a faster blockchain such as neo.

I have not seen any restaurant in my country accepting crypto payments still honestly I wouldn’t like to pay in a restaurant and then start waiting for the confirmation of my transaction, worse if the restaurant would say more than three confirmations and the network is congested, I will pay high fees in regular and also wait for a long time.

It’s just like recently when I made a payment and I used the regular fees which normally takes less than thirty minutes, but due to the network being congested I had to wait for three hours, it was very annoying. That apart it would still be cool if restaurants are accepting cryptocurrencies as payment, the thing is if we can deal with it.

Not many countries allow transactions using cryptocurrency. This is related to regulation and also not many people understand about cryptocurrency because many people understand cryptocurrency is a high risk investment and some still think of it as a scam.

I think it takes more time for people to understand that cryptocurrency can be used as a means of payment and the state regulates it, and if there is regulation, I think restaurants or merchants will start accepting cryptocurrency payments.

Talking about fast food restaurants, I actually remembered the history of the very large use of bitcoin to make food purchases at one of the fast food restaurants and until now it is the history of using bitcoin for the first time to buy food, that history is "Bitcoin Pizza Guy" , someone buys 2 pizza pans using 10,000 Bitcoin if calculated at the current price then 10,000 BTC*$13,792 = $137,920,000, imagine a pizza owner can become rich instantly because he has that much bitcoin.
