I’m sure by now all must have heard that Germany and France have imposed second lockdown, and this news shall crush small business owners morale, and even effect those people who rely on jobs cause it’s quiet possible that they may never be employed again.
The first lockdown has already killed many small business and many shut their business and now if they lock everything once again it will cause irreparable damage as many will be left jobless including small business owners and what the government could do to help them is still not known and i do not think the government will do anything to help these small businesses.

The possibility that the government will do to overcome this is by using a social safety net, this is a policy that the government can do by providing loan relief, and providing cash assistance to societies and businesses to stay afloat, and accelerating government projects to open employment and employment opportunities. can absorb unemployment immediately. Funds for this can all be taken from the state budget or with additional state debt. This is why governments in European countries have predicted that sovereign debt will increase.

Still not solution with how to stop pandemic although keep lock down for one months and after opening lock down will get the same condition, repeat the same cases and happen for one year later if not find vaccine for this virus. More than ten months after pandemic first time found in Wuhan China still not get medicine how to stop this virus and back new normal era without stay at home always. My country cases every day the victims are always increasing more than 600 people too 1000 people without have solution to stop this virus, just discussing only with government to stay at home and keep away from the crowd.

Economy is not really what we should be caring about, it should be health and surviving the lockdown without dying, but for some reason people care about their money more than they care about their life.

The only reason why there could be a second lockdown in Europe is the fact that there are more people getting sick and there are more people who are dying and we are here talking about how economy could survive this, I do not care about economy or how horrible life gets as long as we can save human lives, that is what the priority should always be. What is the other option? Just keep everywhere open so that economy could be booming and recovering like crazy while also letting people die? That is not an option that is a massacare and I would rather not have that option.

The shock value of the pandemic is reduced now, many industries have adjusted, an economic collapse similar to March 2020 is unlikely at this point, things might change if infection rates worsen...

Meanwhile, most businesses are making permanent adjustments to enable remote work, which is a good thing for both workers and employers independent of how the situation evolves...

It's really bad for Europe currently. I can't believe that the second wave has hit them. The only thing they have right now is the previous experience. But most of all, people have to raise their understanding before this pandemic. As far as I know, Western people do not like to be imposed with new laws and regulations. They act arbitrarily without noticing that they might be infected with the virus. I guess the government needs to be more strict so as to force people to obey new rules. Only that way may stop the virus once and for all

Vaccines are coming to our town. Scientists and doctors from all over the world are trying their best to create a cure for this pandemic. Work from home is the best option right now. Stay home with your kids. Don't go around. Don't make crowd with other people

This spring, there was still a faint hope that the virus would end its rampant activity by summer and disappear like a terrible nightmare in the Sands of time by summer. But autumn came and the second wave of the epidemic came, which clearly indicates to us that a new soldier has appeared in the regiment of annual acute viral infections and flu strains, which will now come like the flu every year and can only be relatively neutralized by mass vaccination or a large number of people who have been ill in the population and have developed immunity. I'm afraid to make a mistake, but everything is coming to the fact that this is the scenario of our life for the next few years.

It seems to me that if everything goes further and the EU States can not cope with the second wave normally, then Brexit, which was a precident of the global scale, will become commonplace.
And as a result, the EU will remain a handful of poor countries like Greece and one and a half leading countries that will continue to try to keep it all in some order.
The EU has outlived itself as a political model precisely because every year this organizational structure took on more and more rights and powers than it once turned the economic Union into a kind of prototype of a super-state (or a quasi-Communist USSR 2.0, as you like).

Shall what ever that have advantage also has disadvantage, but from the looks of things that brings economy down is war and inability of management, emphasising or pointing at lockdown via minor problems can't over regulate economy of a country to the extend bringing it down, the only thing i note, is that lockdown can only make less privileges suffer, because of lacks of eatable item's, but the processe of eliminating economy due to lockdown is not really ideal from my views and it's impossible.

The government look to be unserious about the solution or permanent cure to this killing people in different country. So many news about cure in the vaccine production but yet not released for people to get freedom from the virus. Many blame games are going on instead of focus in finding cure. Lockdown is just not working because no cure to administer to people that are affected, it will still spread if economy open.

This time the second lockdown is actually unexpected for us. The lockdown has caused a lot of damage to our economy. Europe is currently one of the most developed countries. They may be able to recover from the lockdown but their economy will suffer a lot. Many sectors of the economy will collapse. But the situation of underdeveloped countries will get worse. Their economy will almost be destroyed. even if Europe can survive the lockdown, Underdeveloped countries will not be able to survive

I feel like holiday season is the best season to have a pandemic isn't it? We had one during summer and we barely survived that, there were over a million dead so I don't know if we could count that as survive but at least it happened and now we moved over. During holidays you sure do get some gifts from some shops and you need to buy some food to cook etc etc so there is some shopping outside included but isn't all of these things happen at home?

Thanksgiving is usually at home, Christmas is at home, even new years could be at home, and that is what we need right now to get better right? Staying at home? Sure maybe business' could get affected if they are mom and pop brick and mortar but in general scheme of things people will still buy the turkey and the gift and so forth, not like we are giving up on the holidays.

2020 is really a very tough year, even this is a year that teaches us to live accustomed to a pandemic.  We have to prepare for the worst conditions who knows how long it will end.  Not only Europe, almost all countries are severely affected by this pandemic.

Not only Europe experiencing economic difficulties because of covid 19 pandemic. But people are brave and wise, they can find other way to survive despite of this difficulties. I believe everything well be fine and every country well recover no matter how long this pandemic will end. Because as long as people live, everyone will find ways to survive together with the economy.

What is the worst case scenarios that come in your mind when you read this news?.
the countries that are on the topic are well developed countries and its only on thier second lockdown . thats not too much compare to other countries that are already imposed a third and more lockdowns and take note that these countries are more poorer or underdeveloped and the best part is that they dont worry , you can rarely hear thier voice doing complaints  .

what can they do with that if thats the order of the higher court ? lockdowns are not bad but its also thier consequence for not following protocols  .
The greatest issue with lockdowns is how they reduce economic activity, this should not be that big of an issue if countries had a very low debt to GDP ratio but many countries are in a very bad shape, they are getting less taxes and printing more money than ever in a time when people are losing their jobs and a great deal of those jobs is never coming back, if this continues the economic crisis that is brewing is going to be many times worse than the pandemic and I do not know how long can people endure another lockdown when their finances have been now strained for months.

When we say the economy cannot survive what does it mean? What's the worst that can happen to a locked country? Some businesses will be close to bankruptcy and demand support from the government. Some will go bankrupt and be bought out by the competition. There's a lot of people who have the money to invest. Maybe some of them will be the new class of Bitcoin billionaires?

Countries second pandemic lock down will surely has effect on economic development. Some countries hasn't survive from the first lock down.

What? Not survived meaning what? They went bankrupt? Which countries? Grin Are you on something?

Maybe countries like France and Germany can survive the second lockdown, although not without consequences, but many other European countries that wouldn't be possible, their economies just wouldn't survive. Even from the help from European recovery and resilience funds that wouldn't be feasible anymore. That is why they are trying to balance between pandemic and keeping business and everyday running. We'll see for how long they will manage to do that.

Exactly, recession is at hand for some of the European countries in the list, it would be great if other countries can help them but with the current state of the whole world, this will very be unlikely. Worst case scenario will be their succumbing to either the dollar or the Chinese Yuan, as their currency will slowly depreciate in value, this along with the increased volume of immigrants will be the downfall of many countries, not just strictly inclusive to European ones.

Yes year of 2020 has started some troubles in our world and now worst case scenario is this pandemic happen many business affected and not only businesses many of us in here are losing a job. And now we heard again that would make a second lockdown in europe and Ill think that was a good Idea for me to prevent the virus spread all over. And the economy will down for now but if the lockdown will end I think it gonna back again to normal.

They will probably survive,

Since this is their second lockdown, they know at least what they need to do. Unlike in the first lockdown where everyone is really waiting for advise from the government on what everyone should do in times like this.

For sure, they will. Don't think that lockdown will be forever and will not make their own ways to survive. We are not in the age where resources are not available to humanity. Many people around the world have bigger problems than them, so I'm not really worried about their situation.
