The whole world is shaking by this pandemic. To avoid any worst situation there should be a long-term plan. But I am not seeing any of these from any country. We are already facing a side effect of the situation. So govt should take a long-term plans ahead to fill the loss that has been taken due to COVID-19 or our economy will face a much worst situation even Covid-19 gone.

The first lockdown which many countries of the world really experienced hell over 8 month. Many investors loss their profit during the period that also shak the economy of some countries that is making the government to do everything possible to fix it back to make them start working as usual.
Since Bitcoin is legalized in this two countries France and Germanyand most of their youths are into bitcoin investment which they are about to enter second lockdown because of the killing of the corona virus, which is making the business men and women not to trade in the country.

I think that in this situation it is necessary to make a choice, or save people, or save the economy. But if the government of the country is worried only about the economy, then they will lose a significant part of their people. In order to work to save the economy, there must be strict control over the current restrictions, since people do not always adhere to the rules of personal protection and the restrictions imposed, because this is what is causing the second wave of the pandemic.

When we say the economy cannot survive what does it mean? What's the worst that can happen to a locked country? Some businesses will be close to bankruptcy and demand support from the government. Some will go bankrupt and be bought out by the competition. There's a lot of people who have the money to invest. Maybe some of them will be the new class of Bitcoin billionaires?

Countries second pandemic lock down will surely has effect on economic development. Some countries hasn't survive from the first lock down.

What? Not survived meaning what? They went bankrupt? Which countries? Grin Are you on something?
It is probably just a figure of speech as it is obvious no country will fall to ruin completely because of a lockdown, however it is also true that new lockdowns will put a great strain on the finances of everyone including governments, businesses and people in general, at some point governments will have to take a very difficult decision, do they keep encouraging people to lockdown on their homes or they allow them to go out and work knowing the virus is still there despite any precautions they may take?

I’m sure by now all must have heard that Germany and France have imposed second lockdown, and this news shall crush small business owners morale, and even effect those people who rely on jobs cause it’s quiet possible that they may never be employed again.

Furthermore it’s pertinent to note that this lockdown has come during the holiday season, and if it continues to stay in place then Europe’s economy could be severely impacted, and therefore in my personal opinion it could take year’s before European economy completely recovers.

What is the worst case scenarios that come in your mind when you read this news?.

Well i think lockdown is not good for ecoonmy of any country. If i talk about Asian countries there are several peoples who are not living with the good manner, they dont have proper job, food, houses and other utilities and their government is also not much supporting them like European countries. Developing countries some how manage it but under development countries cannot bear the full lockdown. I just heard that covid medicine launched by a reputed medical firm, i hope we can finght with covid in near future.

Economy can survive anything, people are reacting like economy is not something we didn't made up, it is a paper money that we give value towards and if we want to we can always give the same value to it anytime we want as well. Just to give an example, there are tons of companies and there are tons of people in any nation right?

Well, the money is still the same money, the amount doesn't get lower, nobody is out there burning out cash, there is no bank deleting all the digital traces, so the same exact money in the world is still exists, why would anyone get affected?

Let me tell you why, because companies will want more and more of it while people will not have more of it, and if that stops due to pandemic companies and CEO's will do anything to make people starve in order to keep profiting a dollar more.
That is not true, look at the previous world power nations; they are in the above of the ladder or the socioeconomic status in terms of countries but they failed to sustain their economy and it is the reason why they been demoted and been replace by other countries. Economy can collapse through war, terrorist attack, rioting and also in pandemic, Europe is one of the richest continent and most of the countries there have good governance so there is high possibility that they can so a second lockdown in order to reverse the epidemic growth. I'm sure that every country in Europe have a task force wherein they are focusing to suppress the cities by doing lockdown in order to prevent the growth of the person who are infected with the virus. The good thing is the virus will stop growing during lockdown but the bad thing is many businesses will be force to close down.
Lockdown can be a cause to a death of certain economy because the foreign investors will withdraw their investments and they will re-invest it in countries that have now lockdown. I thought that Europe have a good way handling the pandemic because there are certain countries who did not impose travel ban but I found out that I'm wrong because they are also having hard situation in order to control and prevent the virus spreading in different communities and right now they are in lockdown again. For sure many people lose their job again but it will bring positive in a way where the infection rate will decrease and their lives will comeback like before.

really in my mind I only think about the most negative things about their future economy. Lockdowns are actually a very wrong way to tackle this pandemic.
Why don't we live with viruses and continue to work to make money? we should become more conscious of working with common communities, so that diseases will spread less, and especially our economies as normal.
This time lockdown may cause the economies of Germany and France to collapse soon and surely people must live in a period of poverty!

People will really worry regarding this kinds of news since its not only small businesses that is being affected and being directly affected by the lock down is really worrying. Work during Lock down is sometimes idle since there would only be a few people working however if the government would implement necessary steps to mitigate the effects of the virus. It would also be beneficial to some companies to create an environment in which their employees would have a safe environment like a bubble.

Lockdowns is very difficult to everyone and everything is being affected not only everyones needs but also the economy. Europe is one of a developing country and I believe that this country will survive economic problem even they have lockdowns again for s second time caused by covid pandemic. If other small country survived, Europe will survived too.

I do not understand why they cannot come up with a solution because now it is a long time since the virus is there and there should be better policies like enforcing masks and sanitizers as not recommended but compulsory and if proper distance and hygiene is maintained there is no way the virus can affect anyone and if even slight numbers increase it can be managed and it would be way better than locking people down and kill them by starvation.

There needs to be better and smarter decisions taken if they want to actually fight the virus because hiding is not the solution instead protect yourself and work might be the way to go in coming time. Just locking down people is like hiding from the virus.

There is no long-term solution frankly speaking and the government are just tackling the situation as it comes to them because no one can predict when the pandemic will slow down or end. The only long term and firm solution is a working vaccine which is as rare as the chances of Trump winning the elections after losing on votes count.

I don't think anyone can afford lockdowns and shutdowns but the situation demands it and we cannot deny the fact that without lockdowns the death/spread rate for this virus goes absurd numbers.

There are countries who succeed with the lock down process. A lock down is tolerable but a second one could be something more devastating to the economy. It is indeed needed because governments were left no other choice but to do so  the consequences will be suffered by the economy. Some people will say people are already aware of the do's and dont's so the second wave will not be that much, but the reality is that it could still be because there will be quite of a "restart" especially with businesses and economies just starting to recover from the previous "stop".

There is absolutely no other way to handle the problem and we might criticize the local government for their lock-downs but the reality we must familiarize with is that there is no other way to stop the virus from spreading.

Why don't we live with viruses and continue to work to make money? we should become more conscious of working with common communities, so that diseases will spread less, and especially our economies as normal.
Because not everyone follows the guidelines and a small breach can lead to abysmal number of cases within a short period of time. If somehow there is a public gathering and singe guy was infected now chances are everyone involved will now be infected.

The best way to overcome the problem was self control and self discipline but that can't be expected from the whole country.

The first wave of the pandemic began at the end of the cold season and safely declined with the onset of summer and rising temperatures. The second wave began when a new cold season started again and now there is no hope for a quick start of a hot summer and the incidence will continue to grow for some time and only then we will reach a plateau where the growth of the number of cases will be stabilized. Let's hope that this will happen soon, because the real results of vaccination in the best case will be only by the end of the calendar winter. And the stabilization of the increase in the incidence of diseases will allow the authorities of countries not to tighten the quarantine conditions, but even to soften them.

I think that what we are seeing right now is that many investors are preferring to stay on the sidelines and prefer not to commit, politicians all over the world do not really know what they are doing, one day they do one thing and then the next day they do the opposite, not only this confuses people this confuses the markets as well, and while the markets have recovered since the pandemic began that does not mean the economy in itself has done so, so those that invest and create jobs prefer to not do anything at the moment until things get clearer which is I think the best option they have at the moment.

Yes of course, Europe is first world country they can provide everything in their whole country there's not  doubt that they can actually surpass this pandemic y, yes it will affect their economy but unlike the 3rd world country they can make it back to normal in about a year or half of it.

Everyone can always get back to their feet. This pandemic is not forever. People will always find their ways to survive and recover from any crisis. Another test in humanity, where people learn a lot of lessons in life during this lockdown, whether financial or survival strategies. Now, we can appreciate those preppers and how they are fully prepared on this type of crisis.

Obviously the pandemic is not going to last forever. But we need to understand that a lot of people are facing joblessness and poverty as a result of this pandemic. The Spanish flu pandemic of 1918 lasted for more than two years. If COVID 19 turns out similar to that one, then we will be in a lot of trouble. The economy can't handle another year of downturn. Even the richest countries will face financial issues.

We already have an effective vaccine for this virus and what we need to do now is wait for the mass production of this. I don't know how long will we wait but Pfizer is a great and big company and I think 2021 would be the end of this suffering. The bad thing about our country though is that our economy is getting worse as we are bombarded by storms in these past weeks. This is turning to be bad, there are still a lot of places covered in mud and flood, what year.

They will surely survive with the second lockdown the government has impose to them,to tackle the spreading of the virus in the country.many countries think they cannot survive
just because what the country experience during the first lockdown which caused so many countries of the world experience failure in their economy.  With the strategies the government of Germany and France has put in place show that they will not experience hardship with this second lockdown which has been announced by the government.
I think Europe will survive, this second lockdown since the government has demand for more money to be print to make sure every citizens live well in this second lockdown in the country.

Earlier, humanity experienced and much more terrible epidemic.  The coronavirus, compared to the plague epidemic in Europe in the Middle Ages, is just a mild cold.  The coronavirus pandemic not so scary.  Relatively few people die from it.  More often they actually die from other diseases that have been complicated by the coronavirus.  Much more damage is caused by the unprecedented quarantine measures to combat the coronavirus.  Therefore, the people are increasingly responding with massive protests to tough quarantine measures.

In Europe, they imposed second phase of lockdown so that it can't spread a lot. In compared to US, government is trying to reopen the economy slowly. That is the difference between Europe and America. In Europe, they would like to consider themselves as European which can't established by any other regional organization in the past. So they care for themselves. I believe that after getting vaccine for coronavirus, they will continue their economy and obviously it is a tough time for all, so do them.
