Plant more seeds (tokens from bounty programs) until they bear some fruits

This is exactly the life that we are experiencing as bounty hunters. I remember the time that when my colleagues introduced me to airdrops and bounty programs, it changed my life until today. Bounties may not be perfect for full-time work or career, but it did give us extra funds no matter if small, average or big if lucky enough.

But what are the realities that we're facing right now:

- Most of the seeds are not growing at all (failed projects and exit scams)
- Some seeds are not watered properly (tokens distributed but not able to be listed on exchanges)
- Some seeds start growing into small plants slowly, but eventually die down (tokens listed on exchanges but dumped after a short while)
- Only a small handful of plants are actually growing into trees but not bearing continuous fruits (tokens grew in value but only on a short-term basis)
- Only a very small handful of plants are growing into trees and bearing fruits continuously (token's price stable growth and strong liquidity)

It's better not to stick on one type of seed (token) to participate and promote. Diversification is very important by participating in more bounty programs. The more seeds you plant, the better chance you'll get a full-grown tree that would bear fruits (price pump and exchanged it to BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.).

Bounty hunting after 2017  and now is more like a hit or miss, and you really need to diversified if you want your motivation not to weaken I have experienced 20 bounties in two years and I only made profit on one bounty, just enough to keep me going but it's understandable, back then the market is suffering and so many projects are struggling,
I remember one thread here that says bounty hunting is like a box of chocolate you never know what you'll going to get, it's very true until now.

Plant wisely and don’t just plant more seed, you also need to pick a plant that can bear a fruit because not all plants are worth it some of them are just a waste of time. Tokens from bounties are great if you participated on good projects, so keep on working wisely and time will come that you will get the fruit of your labor.

To become a successful bounty hunter you must not rely on a single project, join many others and make sure they are worth giving a time, you can find that out by doing good research on the projects first

I also noticed that. I hold some token from bounty payments by hoping the price will be increased in the future. It seems holding bounty payments is not a good idea for most of the bounty projects.

for 2017 and now it is very different, in 2017 we can follow social media bouties for more than 100 bounty programs because there is no weekly report that is different from now we have to do our social media bounty reports, and of the many bounties that are followed, only 5 - 10% are successful and earn.

Bounties are now about how lucky you are and how hardworking you are, to get good rewards from bounties you need to promote more than one project every month, hopefully a single good project can pay you for all your hardwork combined, I know it's tough to accept but many projects are still paying good rewards. Don't give up

i don't think success and bounties go hand in hand mainly because of the small rewards.

But i do remember reading a thread a few years ago about an user who claimed to have a full time job here in btctalk and some other sites where you could also apply in bounty programs (don't know if they exist anymore), and this user allegedly was making like 3 digits a month or something like that, which i guess could be a lot money in some countries...too bad, i can't find the thread, maybe it was nuked or something

I was introduced into airdrop in 2018 and I could remember the first token I earned. It was about $32 worth of Revain Tokens after making few reviews on their decentralized platform. That was the first time I earned in $$, I was happy and proud of my self. As a student who isn't really financially buoyant enough to sort out bills, I have decided to dedicate little of my time to Bounty. One of the great projects I have work and paid was Tokoin, almost $3k at that time. It really changed my life.
This space has benefits many people across the globe and I am one the people. You don't really know which project that will pay, but do personal research and participate on the ones that worth your time, there should be a successful one that will pay.

It is better than collecting more tokens as much as we can, since as you have said, it is very difficult to collect tokens coming from bounty programs because it will take a lot of time that's why it is better to choose the quality tokens than any token we can see.

Bounties way back 2017 were mostly successful. In the same year, many bounty hunters earned huge profit from bounties which made it more interesting than to invest. Way back, tokens are more likely to be the payment at the end of the campaign period to the users. Those tokens will have a value upon the release in exchanges. I have this friend who was able to earn $500usd from a single campaign before, which ran for a month only. Unlike today wherein oayments are more based on usd per week.

Reality check: Bounties are no longer as profitable as before. I have experienced earning huge amount of profit from doing bounties before which usually runs within two to three months, weekly campaigns were taken lightly before because there are more opportunities in the bounty campaigns, which is different from now because signature campaigns are being avoided since there are more expectations of projects not being successful in their campaign period, and it is weekly campaigns to which bounty hunters do more benefit at this moment. There are many dead coins in my wallet which i cannot make use of at this moment since selling would be a waste of time because fees are higher than the profit to be earned from doing so.

I was searching for some stories as well long time ago. There was a mega thread I stumbled upon last year, dunno if some of those are just made-up story.

I have a friend who had a successfully made story and great success with the following bounty and bought a car and house. But it's an old story along time ago in 2017. I think it's never happening again.

The odds of getting into a good airdrop or bounties after the last bull-market is slim. I had some airdrops and bounty a few years back that I was able to sell at a decent price, most projects eventually died. I am not saying that bounties and airdrops are dead, just imagine the last uniswap airdrop a while back. There are still hidden gems out there, but you must be willing to gamble and be patient.

That's right we have to work wisely always and don't waste our time on a shit project where everything is just a hype and no real product at all. We can earn a lot from the good bounties but we should also expect some bad project since we cannot always win in this market. Keep on working until you achieved your dreams, our small work today will become big in the future only if we are consistent on everything, spend wisely as well.

Back in 2017 I have become a translator for EIDOO aka PnT.

I got 100k EIDOO tokens from there and I have sold all of my tokens @$4 each and I have gotten $400k in total from my bounty.

That's my biggest reward by participating in the bounty campaign. If you have ever seen JRT bounty and it's paying almost 10k USD for some signature participants for 1 - 2 months of campaign. I meant each person got almost 10k USD

I have also become a WP translator for MCO Aka Crypto.com and I got also 10k USD from there.

I have ever participated in so many good campaigns.

No matter what you said, bounty hunters will lose their interest in continuing what they are doing because their efforts and time that they spent in advertising the campaign isn't being paid.

I'm not saying that you're wrong here and in fact you're right. Joining in different bounty campaigns will have a higher chance to get some tokens. What I'm trying to say here is that, bounty campaigns aren't as fruitful as it is in 2017 - early 2018. Instead of focusing much on bounty campaign, better to find another thing that will give you better rewards or better chances of getting money in general.
