As a beginner which coins do you prefer to buy first ?

I am a veterani investor as i have invested many years in stocks and now i have nice portfolio of crypto since investing during last bear market, but you beginner and new to crypto , what coins do you prefer investing in ?

Welcome to the forum. Good to see that you have a nice cryptocurrency portfolio. For a beginner, I will prefer to buy bitcoin. Because if you do not familiar with the altcoins, then there is a risk to lose your portfolio. So it's better to buy some bitcoin and learn about other coins.

Since you are new on the forum and this is your first post, I will prefer to read this thread, [GUIDES] on Bitcointalk. Index thread. That thread contains many useful threads including forum rules which would help you to realize forum culture.

Yeah..  You might also want to take a look at where newbies have gone wrong too and the mistakes they've made. For 2015-2017 I think the main one was icos that didn't deliver. The current one is probably a few defi projects that aren't doing very well...

If you're trying to trade safe, I'd suggest sticking to the top 10 or top 20 coins as they've probably survived the longest and I think 9 of the top 10 have been in there for 5 years...

Bitcoin is going to be the safest option for a while though imo.

Anyway, I personally wouldn't suggest investing in any cryptocurrency unless you actually know what they're for. Yes, I wouldn't even suggest bitcoin. Because if a certain person actually does the research and thinks a certain asset in general is a good investment, he/she probably wouldn't need to ask questions about it. Because if you want to be a good investor, you'd need to do your own homework.

Dont make rookie mistake by buying shitcoin that is promising x100.Play it safe and get BTC, disregard everything else even tho it might be attempting because of chance of high roi, but most likely you will end up loosing money if you decide to go that way.

You are right about this, OP need to analyze cryptocurrencies generally before starting at all, to know how volatile cryptocurrencies are. But, after making such research and analyze the coin properly, he will still choose bitcoin. And if I will advice him/her, I will advice him/her to choose bitcoin. Holding it, and keeping it safe from hackers not to penetrate.

Currently there are several cryptocurrencies for you invest, but for a novice investor, I advise you to study and analyze cryptocurrencies generally before starting at all, to understand how everything works.
And in my opinion the best option to invest initially is Bitcoin

Maybe you have experience investing in the stock market but don't have knowledge of cryptocurrency, but it will be easy for you to understand and I'm sure you already have a choice of coins, but you need help for that, yes bitcoin is the best but I recommend ETH for now.
