We are probably testing $14,900 currently and I don't think this will stay for long enough at the same phase. With more people getting into bitcoin as they were during the mid of 2017, we would be experiencing new highs as days passes. A percentage of people who came in at 2017 stayed all the way to experience this and new coiners would start coming in at large numbers as prices tend to test new highs.

As @BrewMaster said, we would most likely be experiencing FOMO and panic selling but nevertheless alts are never going to pump as high as they were in 2017 since almost 90% of crypto population got to know they are useless for the community and majority are just mere scams. Also we have got quite a few new names got into the crypto scene like DeFi and NFT while the latter has real world potential and would probably bring in more artists to the space sooner. Considering these factors, I guess we would be surpassing $20k atleast at some point next year or within this year

surely the market is much more resistive than the last time. Many people would be willing to cashout their profit. 15K is a testing resistance. There bound to be a correction but with so much people and companies into bitcoin, it is sure to achieve higher lows and higher highs. I think it would be wise to sell some of your coins (around 14.9K) if you already are in profit.

It might seem irrelevant but I wanted to express my feelings for the "new" record/ bull run.

Today I see an order of mine from mid-late 2018 that I place it as a reminder, as a sign, as a hit point, you can name it as you think and see fit.
It's not the amount or any profit that makes it important but the meaning of it, at least for me. Despite all the hard fight that all the members of our community gave and still give from all over the world because they believe in BTC and all its principles from the day they saw it, despite the war that every traditional finance system make on us with crap news and fake disastrous predictions, despite the trolls, the "bans", the "financial gurus" etc centralized puppets, we are still here... And we will BTCe here to see King marching and brake any record that they will put, as a way to measure its power.
Now all of them comes to adopt it, to make their own replica, to praise their knowledge like they invent it (lmao). Now "the bubble" becomes their "precious"... HODL fellow travelers, to the moon and beyond!

Bitcoin for the first time after break $20,000 last three years now back above $15,000 and give many question will bitcoin keep stronger or back down again what last happen. I think have effect with United State election why make bitcoin suddenly could pump to higher price, now we waiting for after success reach $15,000 how long bitcoin will break out again to $16,000 and going on until $20,000 again. Just my question will have some investor make drama to drop bitcoin price because many people panic after getting bad news with bitcoin and sell bitcoin without care just drama running by some investor.

We are not expecting a major correction and as per the past rallies the market usually start rallying the next year after halving but the market is going crazy now may be because of the US elections, i am not sure why the market started rallying and broke a few resistance quite easily and surged past $15k which i did not expect, but the market is bound to move higher and i have the patience to hold for a few more months as i truly believe that the major rally will start by the end of first quarter next year.

And now over $15k, it makes me think the USA elections are behind this bitcoin bump. Things are getting really hot and trump is close to losing it, that's why we see tons of people on the panic buy and that is bumping the prize to the moon... If things stay like this we could see $20k in a couple of weeks, so is the right time to hold, be patient, and play it smart.

The weird thing is that only bitcoin is going up at this moment, the other coins don't look to be on the same track.

Bitcoin is continuing to dominate that market as it was able to break the $14k barrier while continuing to increase it's dominance also as it is now sitting at 65.2%.

Yeah, we should expect that there will be setback to bitcoin price especially if it can reach to $15K then there is a big possibility that it will go down again to $13k. But if the bull season will be triggered by this increase then there is a little possibility that this increase will continue until we will hit the $20k price.

2017 was completely a different scenario tbh and the market was still young to mature. Bitcoin pumped all the way from a few hundred dollars to $20k within a year with so many bad actors coming into the community to scam poor newbies. I was one among the poor newbies to lose a thousand dollars in a few shitcoin scams. But with maturing market and more and more companies investing in bitcoin, we got to know about differentiating the scammers and real currencies like BTC, XMR and other promising alts.

With the price rising even more, even owning 1 bitcoin has become really difficult for long term and with more and more years passes by bitcoin will have more purchasing power i.e we can buy more goods for 1 bitcoin than what we bought back in 2015 or 2016. Square is one of the legit companies to invest in bitcoin and I am very much sure data stealers like Mark and Google will never invest in bitcoin but rather try to create and advertise a currency like Libra.

It is still continuing. We can see the progress of the BTC price is very actual and also sharp this day. The price itself has reached $15,418.00 USD (it experiences an increase plus more than 9.85%) as we can see in the Coin market Cap and other trackers.

And about what I have collected, unfortunately, I have not much BTC and unfortunately, I sold it earlier, only left it some. So, it really teaches me again, not to regret what decision I have made by selling it earlier. because it can be said that 50% of my BTC is sold to secure the funds and the least is for HODL again. I still believe that BTC prices can still reach higher prices. $20k maybe our target, but I personally will look at the $18 first before reaching that ATH. Let's see and watch how the market will tell us.

I thought if Trump didn’t win then we might have a big correction after recent bullish sentiment. The market appears totally calm & actually bullish that we are set to have a new POTUS. A new ATH before the end of the year doesn’t look impossible now which is pretty incredible.

We've been waiting for this since 2017.
The 2017 price boost was caused by Bitcoin futures trading hype+Bitcoin Hardforks+ICOs pumping the price of both Ethereum and Bitcoin.
The current 2020 price boost is caused by the US stimulus plans+the corona recession+investors looking for a safe heaven asset+mainstream media and big corporations being overall positive about Bitcoin and crypto in general,in comparison to 2017,when the FUD was massive.

Hopefully this will be sustainable and it could reach $20k. So before the end of the year in my opinion it’s not impossible for bitcoin to reach $16-18k or more so.
