With all the bad things that 2020 is throwing at us, Bitcoin breakout is one of the most positive things.

Not long ago, when BTC reached 13k then 14k, there were heavy talks and doubts on 20k BTC by the end of the year.

We are just starting the November month and Bitcoin already reached its ATH. With 45 days left in this year, $20 000 does not seem that impossible all of a sudden.

Amazing achievement if I may say for early November as many traders expected bitcoin to reach $15K by the end of the month but actually it's not.
and not just test the resistance level at $15K, it keeps on the rally to $15,200 and market sentiment still at strong buy which means it could reach the higher mark before the end of the day.

It's amazing to see it jump through $14k and now $15k within the space of a week. At this rate it could be on track to $20k during 2021. It has definitely become a more investable asset now that Paypal have announced they will be offering it (albeit they do not allow moving funds in or out of their ecosystem). Lots of fund managers can now point to that decision when in front of their clients and will probably be happy to have another place to move their clients money, especially with all the volatility within the USA and Europe. Lots of people are looking for a currency that can easily move across borders and bitcoin does seem like the perfect answer at the moment, provided the fees don't creep up too much.

Not actually hoping here if ATH will be reached or not this year.

What matters is, bitcoin is showing continuous good price movement and we can expect that the positivity will be rise more as it progresses.

We should not just focus on hoping to reach ATH but to have strong resistance at every level. We don't want to experience again the 2018 bearish market.

Technically speaking, There is another resistance at 16k now, so there is a chance of slight correction or another sideways in a new range for another few weeks then the market will again decide its direction, but yea most likely gonna be up,
Paypal who was against bitcoin a few years back has now started accepting bitcoin, lol even they understood the power of btc.
If you see the major markets like Dow Jones, S&P 500, Gold, Silver, Nifty 50, Sensex, all of them always go up in the long term and bitcoin is no exception (meanwhile bitcoin is still so small that it can outperform all these assets for coming years very easily)

There seem to be more speculators with Bitcoin, and reaching an ATH is a sign that this year is different from last year. Almost all of the HODLERS may be happy with this, but it's still not yet the time they would sell, IMO. Reaching the $430 billion market cap is exciting. It's going to increase more for sure. Hopefully.

I envy those who bought Bitcoin when it hit $5000 the lowest that we had this year, it's just proved one thing no matter the situation, and the circumstances, the market will eventually recover and will go on what it intended to be, I'm just hoping that if there is a correction it's not going to go down to the $14k level, people are now comfortable buying and the buy order is very strong.

Just get used to it, we cannot satisfy those people that are always telling things like that about bitcoin. You will see them again if bitcoin reaches $20,000 then they will tell that it cannot break $25,000 - $30,000 and so on.

Others said it was the us presidential election that triggered this bull run. However, we've been waiting for this for so long as previous months bear season finally ended.

If it could test the second major reaitance at $16,700, expect another bull run for btc. Indeed a good start for the month of November.

Perhaps, $16k will be the next target of bitcoin price to reach because bitcoin price does not yet touch that price. Sooner or later, the bitcoin price will touch that price, and I think that can happen this month. But to reach $17k, it still a mystery, and we don't know when that can happen. I am sure that people who bought at $10k and hold it can sell it right now and make more than $5k off the profit because it is their reward for holding bitcoin for some time. We can wait for another correction of the bitcoin price, and perhaps, it will come soon. Perhaps, it is a sign for the bull run to come to us since we have almost 2 months to see the new year.

There really are no targets. The way how wicky Bitcoin was back in Dec-Jan 2018, the prices vary on most exchanges and hard to pick a resistance level. Basically $20K is the next resistance level, maybe $19950 or whichever it was.

Will it break $20K? Who knows. One thing that worries me is people calling for $50K or $100K or even $300K bitcoin and such. This leads me to believe we might go to like $19999 and start to pull back and basically found a double top. When too many people are bullish its never a good thing. Wonder if $16K was the top, seems the funding is getting way too positive and usually unless $16K breaks in the next day or so, we might get a $1-2K pullback soon.

I don't think so about the reason for "means of transactions and payment" will be fit right this time of price of Bitcoin and the reason why it will reach the new all-time-high price of Bitcoin. For me, it's all MONEY, a lot of people will be Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO), and that FOMO will lead to the all-time-high of Bitcoin this time. But I don't want to happen it, I want a healthy run for Bitcoin.

And who knows, before this post turns 24 hours we might even see $16k, I mean since the morning to afternoon it's just been making new highs and was 15980 on some sites I saw (just at a few dollar volume).

My friends always ask me the reason Bitcoin is going up, everytime it goes up. Since I'm the only one they know in blockchain and crypto world.
Sometimes I say it's the news like PayPal, Banks, Big investors or presidential election, but to be honest I don't really know what triggers this.
It's speculation, the only thing we know is that someone is buying BTC at much higher rate than usual. I'm just happy that it's happening.

What I'm trying to say is... thanks for the suggestion, the bolded text.
Next time they drill me about why is "this and this" happening in crypto world I will just say 'it's the elections  '

We are going towards, $16k which is a number we haven't seen in a long long time, that $20k ATH looking like a snack right now and we are so close to it. All those people who got involved just a month or so ago has made 50%+ profit just with bitcoin and that is really one of the best investments anyone could make right now during a pandemic period.

I know that people are worried that we have gone up a lot and to be honest with you last time we have hit $20k it took us a year and a half but we bottomed at $3k so I understand why people could be worried about price dropping eventually.

However I feel like this is different, I feel like we have reached to a point where I doubt we will ever be under $5k ever again in our history, we have established a lot stronger base this time around.

From now until the end of this year things are going to be excited and this is the best time to check the price from time to time, Bitcoin is gaining ground but not the majority of the altcoin, I would like to see some of the altcoins I'm holding to pick up the price, like what happened back 2017.

It's crazy, BTC to the moon!

Not yet. Please calm down first because bitcoin is not ready to go to the moon. Bitcoin price does not yet touch $19k this year, so we must wait for more because the price is still trying to increase the price step by step. The bitcoin movements are good, and the price can increase significantly, so that will give a chance for bitcoin to rise higher in the next week. I guess we will see many times of uptrend and downtrend for bitcoin price, and if you are not ready with the situations, you will miss the chance to buy low and sell high. But you still have an opportunity to make a profit in the long-term.
