Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin?

I only received a message about cryptocurrency only once in my entire life because I am not that cryptocurrency expert, he asked me about this forum and how bitcoin works, I gave him details about this forum and how it works but unfortunately, he did not register upon knowing that he would not be able to earn here easily. Most of the people want to know cryptocurrency because they think that they could earn money here but that is not what it should be.
Most of the people who don't have enough knowledge about cryptocurrency think that it is easy money, lol.

Wow thanks for all the responses! I’m not done going through all of them yet,  but I’m certainly go to read them all. It’s really cool to see what other people are experiencing but also very cool to see the difference of experiences having due to where they are from ( different cultures ).

I also appreciate those comparing now to times such as the 2017’s bull run ( interesting to hear if you’re getting more or less calls/texts, receiving more from family or friends etc).

A buddy reached out to me who I hadn’t spoke to in probably a year or so and him and others buddy of ours have been just getting in to bitcoin/ crypto. Their one main question was about storage and safety. They didn’t know how to properly store bitcoin. Helping them set up their Trezor wallets this weekend.

Well, is friends and family recently, this was when the price of Bitcoin moved upwards and PayPal company accepted the use of Bitcoin through the buy and sell process in their platform. Though some of them are big time intimate with PayPal and them hearing about this technology for the first time. I took out time to briefly educated them for the technology and advise them to make more research about this technology called Bitcoin. I was happy helping them out because they're family and friends.

I’ve told so many people about bitcoin over the years & I’m pretty sure none of them took up my advice & invested. I tend to avoid talking to those people about it now because I don’t want them to become bitter & jealous towards me.

Nope, but I am more careful if I had receive a text or call asking for bitcoin or money or load or something. I usually get suspicious and that will help me to avoid getting into scam. Usually I do verify first if all the said things in the text or call are true and I should get some help. However, no one had known that I have a crypto or I have but it is just for fun holding those coins that everytime I check it amazes me that I had the coins being held.

Ill think thats a different situation must better to ignore that if you dont know the people texting on you or call asking about bitcoin. And thats the best thing we need to do asking help for thos only people you know and related in crypto because if you ask to your friends or any close to you Ill think its not gonna help maybe. Must better to careful always than to being calm and nothing to worry if we scam or not,

No. They will call me at the absolute peak and ask for permission to buy whatever ludicrous shitcoin is up there. Then I will know it's time to sell. When I mention Bitcoin to them again a couple of years down the line when it's a load cheaper they will say 'nah, too expensive.'

Rinse and repeat. This is as dependable as the sun rising and setting.

This is why most people you know are poor and always will be.

Yes I received some calls from my relatives regarding to crypto seeking some advice about investment.
And the ones who didn't believe in it when I was telling them about crypto and Bitcoin now seems to be interested because of the price.

Its nice to know that theres someone who do talk about on how to keep those coins safe because majority will really be talking on how to make money in first glance.
Its true that people would different responses yet we do live on a society where it does have different culture and way of living but overall it is really just on the same situation
or scene where people do ask out about bitcoin neither on a common reason like making money or into its true usage.In my situation there are several cousins of mine
do ask out on how the hell i do make some big money yet they can see me with having a new car or motorcycle.Well i cant blame them because crypto can really give out
those kind of chances.

I am not aware of your age group but for a grandmother to ask about bitcoin is amazing. I am not very much vocal about my investment and hence no one ask about it. My family members are aware of my involvement in the bitcoin market and they used to warn me because it is not regulated and the government can ban it anytime and so on but now a days they do not interfere in it.

I dont know anyone or at least im not aware they are into crypto.
most of the times its me trying to bring ppl into btc. Even last week i was talking with a guy that works with me and hes going to be a father for the seconde time. and he was saying how he managed to save 3600€ for his 7year old kid and already planing to start some savings for the coming child.
And because hes actually a nice guy i told him if it was me id rather put those savings in btc, and he insta laughed at me...how sad
Most ppl i know ignores btc, imagine if i try to talk about the whole ecosystem crypto is.

You're good sharing the knowledge. Myself haven't earned big out of the ICO boom or during the previous bull trend. During the previous bull market I taught few people to about cryptocurrency. Among them only few made their fortune, and that happened out of luck. Once after earning they didn't convey the message. But I never mind it, and help people learn it. In recent days one of my brother requested, and I've bought him an ethereum when the price was around $350. Now he had understood the market better.

Not really much and majority some of my friend that called me was Tech-Savvy, They was asking about How to mine Bitcoin or where the local exchange, The rest is just normal person and they was asking about how to get money from bitcoin, etc. Mostly they asking it around 2017 when bitcoin rally happens.

I always experienced this unusual call from one of my old classmates and family members, asking about investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Some of them received random messages about inviting them to invest in bitcoin, so I always tell them that it is obviously a scam because bitcoin or cryptocurrency investment is not like a pyramiding scheme that you need to invite people for you to gain considerable profit or easy money. After that, I teach them about bitcoin and cryptocurrency on how they would earn profit from it, so they would never get scammed.

Lol - 2 days , 2 phone calls from friends who invested back in December 2018. I got them interested in Bitcoin and they eventually bought some. Both phone calls were about cashing out, unfortunately they’ve had to cash out due to Covid financial difficulties, but they’ve both quadrupled their investment! I’m glad I’ve bored a few friends in the past with my “Bitcoin nonsense “

Lol yeah trust me I understand this side of things too.  Obviously during 2017, the mega rise of alt/shitcoins, this was more prevalent than ever. I can't tell you how many times I've had people call/text asking me about cryptocurrency but despite my advice of only "investing" in bitcoin/monero/litecoin..they never listen and end up going after some shitcoin they heard some dude on YouTube say was going to be the next bitcoin.
