Not sure why PayPal is accepting a useless fork like BCash. I have seen a twitter post about this recently (unable to find it) and it mentioned "Bcash was created as an alternative to Bitcoin for daily transactions to take place" I guess this was written to confuse newbies into buying BCH rather than BTC.

Majority of the PayPal population should be newbies in crypto and when we see new highs newbies will get fooled with the PayPal's promotion of BCH thinking BCH is BTC.

May be PayPal should withdraw their support for BCH instead of trying to make money out of newbies. When we get to know Defi are proven scams just like ERC20 shits, people will realize and stick onto Bitcoin.

I do not think we need to name 2017 everytime we want to talk about bull run or parabolic run, I believe we should always be hopeful and positive about the future so maybe we will be getting even bigger run than 2017 this time around and yes paypal can really prove to be big stimulus for new run.

With recent developments and news my excitement is shooting up as i think market is ready to explode, as we are fundamentally and technically bullish and seems like btc has just broken the long term resistance line which can easily mean moon ahead, I just hope that ethereum and other top coins will also move behind btc this time and market can be collectively green.

PayPal news been the reason of BTC Continuous price increase, while other says it's due to election, we will know whether it's really related once election ends which we already know whose the winner.

Tbh I don't think it's any of that, after the btc halving this year, the price was predicted to follow the trend and gradually keep appreciating till it crosses the atm, prolly by next year and that's exactly how it's going, even before payPals decision or the kickoff of the U.S. presidential election, Bitcoin has been on a very good run and that's good news for Bitcoin hodlers.

I just hope that ethereum and other top coins will also move behind btc this time and market can be collectively green.

I don't know about other coins, but ethereum definitely has been doing good on the market and it has continued to appreciate in price. Imo, after the launch of eth 2.0, it could spike so high and go over it's own ath, the months and years ahead looks good for Bitcoin and eth and prolly maybe few other good coins.

So you don't consider 2020 to be bullish? The price of bitcoin is already over $15k which was around 3000 in the first quarter so I feel we are already in the year of 2017 like now so just make use of it now and try to make some profits then keep holding the remaining for the next level.

2020 is comparable to 2016, where it all started, and probably that's why the OP is looking at 2021 as the parabolic growth similar to 2017. In any case, specially those who have been in 2017 like me, totally noob should have gain experienced by now and should have stacking sats or investing on good alts in preparation for a dramatic bull run next year. It will be different though, as everyone is expecting new all time highs specially bitcoin and some top 10 alts.

I hope this increasing price not just at this situation, I mean the price will not crash as 2017 ago after almost crypto currency price are increasing a lot. I believe at the current market situation can make bitcoin and even another altcoin price touch its new all time high.

As for an adoption, I believe this is the matter of time. Everything will need a proccess, the adoption can't come instantly. It looks the year that we're waiting for. The 4 year cycle for other analysis that I've seen tells that it's for the next year shall be the same or even more than the achieved price of bitcoin on 2017.

Don't know how far is the close move happening with bitcoin by the year 2017 and the present. However there is significant growth in the price of bitcoin, followed by the bitcoin is the growth of altcoins. In the past when the market grew bullish, ICO were much hyped. To the hype it gave good profit to the users who cashed it out by that time. Now we're in the DEFI hype, so we've got much close connection between the two years.

I do think that the huge adoption is one step closer to us. I remember paypal has some chile companies that will adopt crypto as an option to be used for payment too. Remember we have venmoo that could accept crypto anytime.

The acceptance from Paypal has been creating massive awareness in various medias. So many major companies have started to adopt crypto while at the same time a lot of countries have prepared for the launch of their own CBDC. The digitalization will be coming very soon

This time i see a lot of people are very interested in this market, indeed after the big news from paypal the mayor has become completely prosperous, and we have seen a clear uptrend of this market. , money is constantly flowing into this market. i think by 2021 we'll be able to see a crypto boom like 2017.

i check the history price of btc in the year 2016 and i dont see any major growths especially on the ber months but if we compare this current year to the year 2017 we can see that both have similarities . the only reason why the op is more concerned of the year 2021 is because of paypals final update but now only small users are given a chance to try crypto on paypal , its like an early access for those who are genuinely interested . next year and onwards are gonna be a great year for crypto because aside from paypal , there are other participants that are said on the wait list

While 2020 we won't see the buzz and price increases of 2017, I do believe Bitcoin can return to $ 18,000 this year.
