This might be the first time that Bitcoin surpassed 14k after 2017.
It went up to 15k and because of strong resistance, it is trading around 14.9k while I am writing this post.


This might be the second time when everyone in this forum have their finger crossed and are hoping for a new all time high.
This might be the third or fourth or fifth time when everyone pumped and pumped.

So let me ask you a question in one word tell me:

2020 has been the worst year for every business and those who are into commodity business still, it did not affect the USD value of Bitcoin. The main reason behind it is Bitcoin is not affected by physical market.

The present crypto market is behaving positive and is very stable as it was in 2017. Every investor now belive and knows the potential of Bitcoin and that is one of the reason why many big financial institutions are now supporting Bitcoin.

It is 2018, bitcoin still reach $14000 in 2018, the bear movement really continue until he got to $3800 in the year.

Very possible, but we should be sensitive to bitcoin price, but showing it will move towards $16000.

I am not certain it will get to $20000 but if gotten to such price, it will not really get beyond it for now. I guess.

This is not possible for now, I am predicting such price to be around 2025.

Certainly that might be the reason but you cannot eradicate the fact that Bitcoin pump is lot related to PayPal starting to allow cryptocurrency purchase using their platform. This is a big step forward or you can also say towards Bitcoin adoption.

I don't know for sure, but from the many predictions that I heard if from 15k $ to 17k $ then it can be sure to touch the new ATH which is above 20k $ I don't know when it could be early next year, or in the near future towards the end of the year.

Many speculation has floating on the net right now and some think that this pump is due to the US election and I don't know how we can relate it but since the market pumps right now for sure we will provably see the numbers reach for possible new ATH but we don't know if it will come on this year or maybe in next.

So provably I will stick the same on your prediction that we will go to $15,000 - $16,000 until the end of the year but hopefully there are more figures reached.

1. Bitcoin will create new ATH but not this year and I think we will see another correction before we finally see the bull trend and for sure, next year will be a great year for bitcoin.

2. My price prediction for this year is only $15k, and I hope that bitcoin will sustain its momentum so we can end the year 2020 with a great news.

If you look back in history whenever the price of bitcoin started to break resistance with ease you will tend to hear some or the other news and it has nothing to do with the sudden adoption and even in this case i do not think that the news about PayPal started allowing cryptocurrency purchases did not suddenly change the adoption rate but it has propelled the market forward.

Too early to say if it will break the previous ATH and setting up another ATH, IMO i don't think it will surpass the previous ATh this year.

ATH wont happen this year even if we are bullish with Bitcoin, there’s a chance next year to achieve this but I won’t expect anything from this. My only prediction is around $15k-$17k this year, maybe a good price to close the year that is full of negativity. I also hope that altcoins will join the Bitcoin uptrend so we can all be happy with our holdings.

OP you don't give any timeline for your questions. Obviously new ATH's will come in the future, and obviously $50k will be passed in the future. But I don't know what this time means. If you mean this little run happening right now no of course not. It'll probably top out in the 15000s or 16000s, maybe 17000s. ATH next year for sure without a doubt. $50k...probably 2022 I would guess unless bitcoin launches into a full on bull run boom next year.

My prediction is it'll go a bit higher right now probably, then correct to around $11k/$12k. By Spring we'll get used to mid-teen-thousands prices and by summer should see an ATH. At some point after that things will go into full on parabolic mode and in 2022 we should see it pass $50k and perhaps even breach $100k briefly, before of course crashing back down to like $20k or $30k.

1. Yes for sure, its possible this year since we are on up trend but there’s no guarantee for this.

1) New ATH will be higher than $25000 if Biden can change the situation for the US economy after the strong impulses by Trump.
2) Maybe it will touch $18000 in a week but the flat market will be boring to watch if the demand falls on this price range.
3) Speculation is not a good idea if there is no fundamental support, especially in the volatile crypto markets.

Many predictions say if bitcoin will touch $20,000, even in an article I find some prediction if the end of the year bitcoin will reach $100,000.
Whatever someone’s prediction is legitimate. So reaching $50K, maybe that could happen. But I don’t know when it will happen. With bitcoin now reaching $15,587, it’s a great achievement, especially if it reaches $20K, $50K it will make people happy for those who have already bought bitcoin at the current price, but for those who haven’t bought, it is a sadness.

Many traders predict bitcoin bull run will reach $20K in December and probably a new all-time high as bitcoin is just 28% away from establishing a new one.
Right now, bitcoin price at $15,900 and still continue to climb higher, according to trend analysis this rally may be extended to $17K before a pullback.
I won't so confident to say bitcoin will reach $50K this time, it would be great if bitcoin breaks the resistance level step by step to $20K.
