I want you to sit down and breathe in before answering this question we are humans with a different culture, beliefs, and religions, some of us are witches and wizards( I want to take this course I do) but we share one thing in common DEATH. Everything that has life at some point we die not minding what is left behind I'm writing this with tears in my eyes I lost my Mum on 4th November I created this account on 5th I'm  broken I needed to be somewhere I don't wish anybody this road it's heartbroken but I learned something, in my culture when someone passed away a picture of the deceased is placed on a table outside the house with a book and a pen beside it where relatives and well wishers pledged/donate towards the funeral service but my mum case is different WHY? Life insurance matters alot if you don't have start one now! Don't live a miserable life and passed away leaving your family and friends in great debts you don't need million to start a life insurance, you don't need Biden or Trump to win to start a life insurance you can start it NOW! Have you checked gofundme page? If you die today would you family set up a gofundme account??  Is this the kind of stress you want your children to go through? begging on the streets and online to burial you?

Most of you are billionares online all your assets are online only you have access to it no next of kin, your son/wife/family are not aware of your wallet passwords or keys you never told anyone about your trading account, you never told anyone about your secret question and answer I REBUKE you today to find someone and entrust them with your online assets nobody knows tomorrow do something Now! don't let your assets thrown to charity while your family is suffering to feed

Health and life insurance are important but you know what, I still have none any of them. But I'll be going there soon and my pick is the life insurance.

Yes, we don't know what's next tomorrow or the next day but purchasing one is what I've learned to prepare for ourselves and family - just in case.

First of all OP, I'm sorry for your loss.

As for the life insurance you mentioned, it's worth it when you still don't have a large enough estate. If you have a net worth of $5 million, you don't need it because life insurance is the same net worth. In that case, you can even consider it to replace your income. But for non-existant or low net worths it is necessary.

Better that than having to start a gofundme account after the death.

All of us has an end and its inevitable. I dont like my loved ones to raise money for my burial or for themselves thats why I already made sure they will be left behind with nothing. Its been 2 years now since I get a life insurance for each member of the family. Its better to be secured because we dont know what is ahead that might take our lives unexpectedly.

Life insurance is for those who already have a source of living or in government employment. Those who do not have jobs and can barely eat do not go for life insurance. What life can they insure when they can barely feed it? The way OP said it, it looks like burial rites cost a fortune where they come from. Cultures should begin to make burials easy and cheap for their people. As for gofundme account, that is not necessary.

If I would pass away today my family wouldn't set up a go fund me page. I think 80%of my family doesn't know what it is, and probably never heard of gofundme. Also funerals tend to be a very private thing in my country, I don't think my family would like to make a big public event out of it.

Sorry to pause the drama but where is the solemn part of your Mother?instead of facing the Relatives and family members and friends yet you stop over this forum just to "POST THIS THREAD about that gofundme thing?We must have prepare for our death as this is our obligation so in time that comes our relatives has nothing to worry about.

This may sound very strange to do tomany people but this is the life people are facing outside, the mindset of savings isnotthere some persons belive since they have no kids of their own they just want to eat and live without considering saving after all what are they saying for when there's no body to inherit it if you have this mindset  then you still have a long way to go

Life and health insurance is mandatory for everyone because its worth to pay for it since it can save us and our loved ones in the right time. Yes life insurance can be cheaper but you need to choose the right schemes because most of the time the insurance company says you can't claim this scheme for such kind of deaths.

When it comes to cryptos assets there is no perfect way to transfer our funds to our kids or family when we die, either we need to trust one of them and give access to the funds or just don't let anybody to access it after you.

I realize that anytime I have a chance to die...
This is the reason why my husband and I buy life insurance so that when we die, our two children will have no trouble. I also keep my wallet keys along with the secrets of my other wallet on a flash disk and tell my child 'if mom or dad dies, you have to open the contents of this flash disk'.
