Well, the saying goes "you are not discovering warm water" is something that is happening and every day many people who manage to understand bitcoin in the wake of everything that means beyond an ATH or wanting to become a millionaire by simply being hodl.

It is the idea but it is not easy, systems led by people are difficult to change, any significant change has the tendency to offer resistance in any environment, however minimal, that is, it occurs at all levels, academic, managerial, industrial , social, economic even in things as insignificant as when you install new software.

Only that sometimes that resistance in the ecosystem is adaptive and over time people give in, well what I just said is in theory, because in practice the time factor is influenced by individual resistances that affect the collective.

But there are also individuals who support and are influence to achieve penetration in the group and that is what really must be done and always take into account as bitcoin users. Not everything can be to think ATH, you have to get to the idea ... of the title of this thread (e.g.)

It would make a big difference if some well-known web shops would accept bitcoin as payment option.
But it makes sense that they aren't really interested in a volatile currency like Bitcoin.

Well, not all the big financial institutions are into cryptocurrencies right now simply because there are still options they can make money off in the fiat markets. If they have shown interest in Bitcoin, then the all time high that we saw in Bitcoin already happened a long time ago. We are not going to see big finance go loco on Bitcoin for anytime now even if it is going up. Sure many brokers and traders would be glad to join the FOMO but the big ones won't.

I don't think so that Bitcoin would be a world power. What if one day that Bitcoin will not back up by dollar and other fiat currency anymore? Can be Bitcoin will still that strong and will exist with the kind of power that you are claiming? For me, nothing can replace the fiat as the world power as it can buy most everything in this world for centuries and Bitcoin is just hiding in the shadow of it.

I don't think so. Bitcoin will be always back up by dollar and other fiat currency especially now that they are seeing the potential of bitcoin right now. It's true that no one can replace fiat currency even in the next century because this is the one that is supported by the world bank, still I am seeing bitcoin as one that became the world power but it doesn't mean that it will replace the fiat and local currency of every country.

Bitcoin as a world power, I think it will be difficult because there are still many people who do not know about bitcoin. They trust gold and banknotes more. Only people who dabble in bitcoin believe that bitcoin is much higher in value than gold.

gold and banknotes are real objects while bitcoin is a digital asset, it is quite difficult for a country to recognize bitcoin because it is decentralized, even though with the covid-19 they know that gold and banknotes are not always useful because they touch hands and bodies

I think we still don't fully understand the power of bitcoin. And that's okay because bitcoin development has just begun. To become a world power, bitcoin is not the only thing that we should consider as there are more aspects that a country should improve upon if they want to become a world power, owning bitcoin will not be enough or should I say is not the key to becoming a world power, remember that it is not a physical cash which means that if a country ever considers owning and adopting bitcoin as their form of currency for transaction, a simple but elaborate attack on power grids will be enough to destroy their economy.

Even if a world leader trade and invest in bitcoin and the sec or Central bank are still against bitcoin then that will not make any difference, the truth is as long as bitcoin is decentralized and can't be regulated or control by a government or it agency bitcoin will remain a secondary currency which to me is OK.

IF only that happens. It's good to let the people know more about bitcoin and let them use it to see the benefits.
