so just 7 months ago we had many idiots fearing 5G and crying their lungs out about how they dont want 5G in their cities because their cult told them it penetrates their tin foil hats.

well china is yet again going to be one step ahead.. with 6G. making other countries like america and UK left right behind by multiple scales of speed delay.

i do find it funny how western countries that meant to be technically savvi are fearing tech and not wanting to stay uptodate.
but with 6G internet within reach, can we please start to get the crypto devs to finally shut up about how blockchains need to be stalled out at slow speeds of below 1mb/s.. and actually realise that countries can go faster and in next few years will be going even faster than a 10-100-1000x fold.

come on people. be techno savvi not techno feary. lets actually enjoy fast internet and its possibilities. and not fear it hoping we can go back to caveman life of survivalists offgrid

To me, the fear of 5g reminds me of the ludic fear that has been had with other technological advances.

When cell phones were introduced it also seemed that we were all going to die because of the waves they emit, and although it seems that they have a certain negative influence on health, this is by no means what was said.

It's always better to be a little cautious, but as I've already said that it sounds a lot like ludism to me. Let's remember that the Internet itself was said at the beginning to be a nest of pedophiles and terrorists and, yes, there are some, but can you imagne how the world would be today if we were not using the internet because it was decided in the past to stop its implementation because of that?

For me, I don't blame the world for being skeptical over all the innovations that comes out way every now and then. I'm a man of science, I believe in science but I also know, there is no science without criticism and critics is the bases for every perfect technological advancement. When I was back in high school during running my project, we were made to understand that, in course of doing a project and when seem not to arrive at a desired result, the obtained result is also considers a result. It's just a way of telling you that the step taken is always going to lead you from point a to point be at every point you take that step. This is what drives criticism on innovations as, the drastic results are feared by the public tso as not to affect the populace on a large scale should anything go wrong. Not quite long ago, coronavirus vaccines were to be administered to the masses when the long term effect is not yet known and the procedure to satisfy for safe use is not fully covered.

We experience climate change today because of these rushed innovations, a lot of strange desaeses have been known to us this day because of this, the coronavirus pandemic strives because of this, destruction of the ozone layer is also tide to these fast technological advancements, life span of man has been known to drop because of this, it keeps going on and on should I decide to mention.

Advances in technology are good, at least it is because of technology that I can make a post on this forum and have you read it kilometers away in no time and without any difficulty but then, when the masses is exposed to it and it haven't been perfected just yet, it becomes a problem. Like we know of Samsung Galaxy S7 edge a year ago was known to exploded upon some level of changing due to a malfunction of some of it's hardwares. In essence, every radio ray involving advancement should be carefully researched for effects before exposing the masses to it. We need to go fast but still wish to be safe too. That's why we've got speed limits on track roads.

I'm not really sure if I'm the idiot for waiting for someone to show me some real study on how 5G is not producing any kind of damage to the human body/brain before actually supporting it or you're the idiot for believing plain words without any kind of scientific backing behind it.

It's kinda funny how I'm being insulted for my skepticism over a certain vaccine/technology when all I'm really looking for is some evidence that 5G rollouts or the said vaccine is not harmful in any way, today and in the long term. It's like I'm being told to shut my mouth for simply asking for evidence. Funny times. Cheesy

There are enough scientists out there who are concerned about the 5G rollout and I think it's more logical to doubt something that never existed before than taking it for granted just because it's faster than what we've had. But yeah, wait, what the mainstream media says is the exact truth and there's obviously nothing to fear if everyone likes faster speeds. Why use your brain when you're already being told what to think and believe ayway Tongue

(not specifically calling you an idiot. but for the idiots around that cant grasp it scientifically or plain.. ill try to explain)

what you need to realise is how microwave oven heats food.
firstly your probably held up by 2.4ghz.
but the specific frequency of an oven is not the same as 5g
5g is not a frequency that interfers/resonates with water/cells/objects thus you will never cook microwave meal by gluing it to a 5g mast
think of it like that of opera singers voice that can break glass. vs say boring singer voice that sends you to sleep.. that scale of freqeuncy difference is only 0.000,1ghz(100hz)

now multiply that difference in scale by a few thousand gaps in scale
the idiots saying 5g is like an oven.. is like an idiot that says everyone can sing like an opera singer.. sorry but no

if 5g did resonate with objects, the signal wont get anywhere because even a tree would bounce the signal back

also a microwave ovens specific frequency resonates with water, when each electron of the wave hits the water in the food in oven.
however. the frequency of 5g passes though without distruption/interfering with water. no energy bombardment to cause friction to cause heat

also a microwave oven has a reflective space/wavelength of just 13inches.
this means a single burst of energy reflects inside a microwave oven 5 billion times from each side of the metal box. and we all know you cant heat anything for 0.000,000,000,02 seconds.
5g is not a single wave bouncing against itself 5billion times a second

so if you imagine a 2 minute phone call of a boring dull voice. that being a straight line of sight beam. over 1mile
vs being a reflective beam within 13inch metal box at a screaming resonating opera singer with a pitch 1000x than normal. and have it reflect off the walls 5billion times a second for 2 minutes then you might start to grasp the differences

i know you want to think that if you could make a microwave oven work with the door open you wil get a suntan at 1metre distance.. um no.. not gonna happen
so again. compare touching your nose to something far less risky than a microwave oven by a factor of 40billion
and then further dilute the risk by being say 1m. 2m 5m 10m 100m away.
you might start to grasp the difference

but here is the important bit
so for observational check.. change your microwave oven from 800wheating and down to 350w defrosting. and you will see another key factor is the power. yes it makes a big difference.
and if you could put it down to 100w you would see even further change
(like putting a turkey under your sweater.yep humans emit 100w)

so take that image of 'cooking vs not even defrosting' power
and then divide it by 5billion times further due to it not being a small reflective box resonating against each other
then also factor in that the specific frequency is not even resonating with cells/water
then you might grasp the difference

if you cant grasp that.. then good luck with life if you still think 5g is the same as an oven. maybe no science or even simplified/dumbed down explanation will help

now if you are a bit smart you will note my dumbed down example has not calculated the math specifically. but if you can calculate it more specifically you will realise the risk factor multiplier is wider than my example
.. meaning you can lick and dry hum a 5G mast and be at less risk than licking another human
yep humans emit 100w too. so if 100w scares you. dont hump other people

live in your microwave if you wish so, just please close the door... no need to share this.

electromagnetic pollution will lead to untold death and suffering for just a little convenience so that bio drones (all clones of the same, feeded on the same data) can bow their neck to get their latest digital input, framed and censored at the mercy of their owners. slaves cattle wants more data stream... are they ready to die for it?

I'm pretty close to inventing 9G in my garage...

6 is just a number China made up.  It's about as relevant as the S20 is to the iPhone 10.

If numbers do not come from the same organization/policies, they are meaningless.

In my country were left behind, we are still on 4g and the speed sucks. Cant even play a movie on netflix continously.  You will only get good speed around 3 am and price of data is high compard to other countries.

they say 6g will be 95ghz-3thz

what i find funny is elons 'starlink' is only limited to 2ghz-30ghz. so its not future proof.
im not worried about the radio signals. as science and common sense deem it safe. but the real concern is the wasted amount of metal floating in space that will be defunct in 10-15 years

elon should have added extra tech to the starlink to future proof it.
atleast it might be a good light show when he takes them out of commission to burn up in the atmosphere. hope he does it in one day to make it a nice light show in 2035

yes sure, if you talk for normal human. but It's a different story with the factory or company or some influencer. the simple thing why they need fastest internet is simplify and speed up their work. i give you some example, Youtubers need high speed conection for uploading video conten  with 4K resolusion, can speed up scanning of objects such as license plates  ( Smart Surveillance ) will help police and goverment for Traffic monitoring, and others benefits.

Even if its 5g still not enough, as more and more people are using internet telecom companies should upgrade thier internet to its highest  capacity. So that no one will left behind. Were in 5g but everytime my son is on his online class he cant even see the people on other cameras.

I wonder what will be the use cases for 6G in the real world.

I mean, the 5G speeds are incredibly fast and exceed demand of a typical modern internet user.

Probably the benefits of high speed will be counter weighted by the latency of the wireless network.

in the 1990's when floppy disks were a thing people wondered what would be a reason to want more then 4gb harddrives

in 1990's people wondered why people would want hi-def images/vids better then the eye can see

in the 1890's people wondered why would people wants cars that can travel faster than the road laws allow

..
6g
game streaming without a console doing the processing. users just receive rendered live stream they can interact with at super low ping
finance. trading bots at the microsecond

bitcoin blocks propogate in milliseconds

the list goes on

Let's start a new conspiracy theory, 6G will be used for the interconnected brain chips and their waves will be used as a controlling tool of making us obey.

All laughs aside: Better coverage, globally.

Downside: life will go faster and faster Roll Eyes

There was a conspiracy about 5G the reason for Covid19, not sure how they connected it but I find it very absurd so I didn't read it.
At the moment other countries will be considering 6G already, China could be in the 9G already.  What is it now that they didn't achieve?  They are also about to create a moon of their own.  Grin

Mass surveillance in China

Mass surveillance in China is the network of monitoring systems used by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to supervise the lives of Chinese citizens under CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping's administration.[2] It is primarily conducted through the government, although non-publicized corporate surveillance in connection with the Chinese government has been speculated to occur. China monitors its citizens through Internet, camera as well as through other digital technologies.[3][4]

mass surveillance of china is propaganda

there are over 1billion people and not enough government workers in china to be monitoring them all
china is not 100% digital fiat that has to reside on a government account
just walk into any currency exchange place and i guarantee you you can get paper based chinese currency

china does not have a single app system where all funds, social media and activity is performed in one app. that has been a debunked piece of propaganda for years.

i dare you to travel to china i guarantee you that you will not have to prove ID/birth just to get into the economy. tourists visit china everyday and have no problem

china is not the big city life of digital surveillance. there are many many many farmlands and remote places too.
only half of chinese population have some internet access. and the percentage of population that have constant internet access is far less then that
america has over 85%.. meaning america is more able to log/monitor its citizens.. not china
as for public camera's per person.. places like london have more monitoring cameras.. not china

yes if the government had the manpower to join the dots they probably could link a bank account to someones travel card to someones tax records. but with so many people they only do it for people they find interesting.

yep every country does this
your US isp keeps records for a few months. this does not mean the government are looking at your internet history everyday. you are not that important to waste resources on.
instead if they know if someone that is a terrorist sympathiser then they can gather info on people over the last couple months. but this is different from being 'surveilled' 24/7 for doing normal online shopping

'surveillance: close observation especially of a suspect or criminal'
'monitoring: regularly/periodically listen/report/maintain checks on a subject'
'logged: input an incident or fact into a record system'

in short all countries including china have a logging system. where different countries have different depths of what and how much they log.
but trying to claim its full on surveillance.. well thats just for the paranoid people that are doing bad things worthy of the manpower needed to find and capture them, wondering which day they will get that knock at the door.

EG
this forum logs your post history
does not mean there is a secret team regularly monitoring your posts. nor a team specifically tasked to surveil your every word you write.. your not that important.
yes if a post of yours is reported. then someone may take in interest on that post and work out if its worthy of further action. but even then they dont bother reading your entire post history.

see the difference between logging, monitoring, surveillance??

if your worried about surveillance. be more worried about what your family/friends might find out from just being near you. they have more chance of surveiling you

I remember one movie, how my grandmother constantly complained about the satellite dish located in the next house. A technician came to her and put her a reflector, a copper basin for hand washing clothes and pointed it at that satellite dish. Grandmother was delighted and stopped complaining. So it is with 5G. People who are afraid need to install copper basins on the windows of their houses.
