Hi, this thread is intended to be used for voting for which charity BTCLotto will donate to. The charity must accept BTC.

You should post more details. Do you have a list of charities accepting Btc? I've only seen a couple.

I'll vote for Wikileaks. They are a very important organisation designed to empower the people through knowledge of what their government is doing. They have been involved with BTC since many years, and it's basicaly the only way to securely donate to them (they've had problems with Visa and Paypal in the past).

I agree that they're important, but I think they also already get a lot in Bitcoin donations.

Indeed you're right. In the same vein then, donating to TOR might be a better option. https://www.torproject.org/donate/donate.html.en#bitcoin

Always in support of real charities but I'd like to know more details if you could edit the OP with some more info that would be sweet thanks.

Yea, sorry about that have left it a bit vague :/. You can look here for more details https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=528827.msg5878250#msg5878250

I have set a lotto website up albeit a bit basic at the minute and planning to donate 3% of the jackpot to a charity. Am thinking I might have to get someone to escrow the wallet though since no one seems interested at all at the minute.

thanks for the fast reply,  I'll be sure to keep this in mind when I've got some extra funds available and look into this.  Best of luck with this !
