Hello,

What do you use in p2p software, platforms, systems?

I like :

  • bittorent (to download and share files)
  • retroshare (private network to share files, comms etc with friends)
  • zeronet (twitting, blogging, decentralized websites and forums)
  • bitmessage (private communication and public chat)
  • bisq (to trade xmr/btc)
  • ...

and you? Would you like to share some recommendations that you really use?

thanks in advance

(maybe even write it in the format above so that I can add it to the list Cheesy).

When the people of the world will get that covid was intentionally released to frame china, steal the election from trump, assure massive bail outs and foster the forced vaccination agendas...they will forget, like 911, wmds in irak, uss liberty or pedogate.

After all of that news about malware and ransomware, I've avoided going to BitTorrent. Just to avoid the possibility of downloading a file that has malware or ransomware in it, I don't visit it anymore.

About bisq, haven't personally used it but I've seen several people recommending it.

Currently researching the existing p2p  decentralized Networks/platforms to see if I can find a really good one or some good ones that can be modified to be well decentralized, transparent, immutable, censorship resistant, permissionless/trustless, anonymity-friendly/privacy-friendly, consensus-driven, rule-based, etc... and can also allow people to easily own their data.
I have gone through ZeroNet few weeks ago... it's quite interesting.
Will go through more in the future. Saw this one: https://retroshare.cc/ few days ago. Haven't checked it out yet

https://retroshare.cc/

* I think Network like retroshare.cc or ZeroNet will need to have some kind of reward system and native coin (likely with Crypto like Bitcoin or a new coin) to make it sustainable.

I also use centralized services because they are not a hassle for supportable transactions in almost all places but decentralized finance is one of the most talked about trends in the cryptocurrency world today when it comes to the use of cryptocurrencies. Many of us who are new to this trend use decentralized finance because of this trend decentralized finance is not a very complicated issue the matter is very simple put decentralized finance is the decentralized financial system you may have seen or used many decentralized exchanges before the crypto market is now decentralized to most projects.

I never used any of the sites you mention because I still prefer to use the existing exchange or the usual thing that many people use. So I am recommending people to use the regular thing that already available to us to use, so we don't have to worry about something that might have a bad effect on our devices.

^ I guess you worry about the security of the data you download/install in your device. Well, that's is why open-source/transparency matters in decentralized world. That's what truely decentralized projects are supposed to be built on by qualified members of community/network.
If it's open-source and transparent, everyone can go through the code/data to check for things that can be abused or used against the users/community.  Codes are also hashed after they are ready for download to keep them immutable and protect against unauthorized changes/abuses. You can't really be sure when dealing with centralized/untested codes/data.
