This is sad, not every Ethereum holder will want to be a validator, I don't plan for this at all, what I want is staking features like those of Tezos, now I think I will just hold my 32eth and sell when profits comes, this is pretty fucked up honestly, vitalik don't make this easy for eth investors

Seems like Cz is shilling ETH 2.0 , although he's showing his support for the ETH2.0 , this will definitely cause fomo, cus alot people will definitely buy after seeing that Cz's tweet, but I think it's worth the hype, cus we have all been waiting for the ETH 2.0 launch, I bet after the launch the price of Eth may likely hit its ATH again, would have love to buy the 32 eth, but the price of Eth just keeps increasing massively, it's over $450 bucks now, I would just buy and hold any amount I can get.

Now I'm confused, I thought the 32ETH is all we need to stake ethereum but now I'm hearing about validating, I don't want to become a validator, I just want to hold my Ethereum in staking mode and earn more ethereum, now that things are more complicated what is the reason for switching algorithm?

You will be able to do that too without being validator.There will be public pools where people will be able to join with even less than 32 ETH  and get the staking reward. I expct that Binance and other big exchanges join so we can hold ETH there.But staking this way will probably give less than profit than being a validator as those pools will take some percentage for themsleves.

This is really good news, even though CZ says only to support Ethereum 2.0, but there is a hidden message,
if you observe it, CZ does like Ethereum and I am sure CZ is also investing there,

I always thought that CZ doesnt like Ethereum because it is much better than his Binance Chain,but he will want to make profit out of Ethereum if he can,that is for sure.So it is no surprise that he will support Ethereum 2.0,it is all about the money.

yes, of course there is nothing wrong with preparing from an early age to increase investment in ETH, especially since there has been positive news not only from CZ binance but I also heard a lot in other sources that ETH.20 will bring good investment returns and this is a golden opportunity to invest in therein.

If you didn't wanna be a validator and that's not a problem. CZ was only showing his intention to support the ethereum 2.0 development and no more. He was also stating it's not a financial advice and that means if the decision will be back to the holders whether the holders wanna stake their ethereum or not.
This is only a tweet and no need to take it seriously. People will try to decide which is the decision that they will take it for sure.

Can you show me CZ tweet I think become more interested if true, almost coin tweet by CZ could give impact to higher price and always have chance how to get profit with coin after his tweet. Maybe I will check first is it right or not CZ make tweet and then if true I will invest more with ethereum, I know Vitalik have update ethereum 2.0 but just little impact after bitcoin up now have going down again. Maybe take moment for ethereum back to higher price during bitcoin keep on higher price and never down any time where could make ethereum back lower price again.

Sounds good, I have no money to buy 32 Ethereum to participate in Ethereum staking haha, but I hold some Ethereum for this moment. I can't wait longer ETH 2.0 to be released.

You should not invest all your funds in any one coin. There are many investors like you who can't afford to buy 32 eth now, so they are waiting with their hold eth to see the market in a good position. Because now hype is being created with eth and it cannot be said that due to this hype, bull market of eth can come. I have also hold some ETH so that I can get better results if the market situation changes.

This is good news, but the problem is that I personally don't have much money let alone to buy 32 ETH or even follow Stalking on it. I have never had any doubts about this great project, Ethereum is one of the big altcoins and certainly very worthy of a long term investment. but if I have a lot of Money or enough to buy 32 ETH, I won't invest all of it either. maybe only 50% and the rest can be invested with other coins depending on my taste and prioritizing in BTC too.

It is good to see your support, but if i am in that situation i would rather purchased bitcoin when the price was really low and waited for the long term rather than staking it in an experiment . Purchasing 32 ETH at this price is a big task for most of the users and if you have the ability to purchase that more power to you. I am hoping that the market would rise when ETH 2.0 is rolled out but it all depends upon how the market will perform in the next two months.

He's supporting it but for newbies, it's still risky to buy that amount if you can't avail. Still better to have more bitcoin than Ethereum but if you want to support Ethereum and stake with your money, go with 32 ETH. But if you can't, that's fine, you can still avail any amount that you want and just hold it for the better. And wait for pools to come out, even you don't have 32 ETH you can join the staking.

That's the reason why they required minimum amount before you will receive rewards they don't want all holders to earn in staking .  many investors  will failed to get the minimum requirements when the eth platform upgraded a good thing for big players or investors they can really be benifited with that. It will also add demand in eth once more people want to join the staking process.

CZ knows Ethereum is just going to skyrocket that's why he bought 32 eth but he can't explain in public, he just say supporting ethereum development and it's not financial advice..
After long time probably vitalik achieved eth 2.0 and many projects moved to binance chain because eth blockchain users facing high gas fee so finally boss coming back.

This staking may not be for everyone, I think holders of Ethereum less than 100 should not be involve in this longterm staking, they might not be able to take profit in the bull market for ethereum staked. I am very sure Vitalik will still sell ethereum in the coming parabolic, many large holder will benefit from the staking and they will also have something to sell. We need enough information to take decision with ethereum staking

I would have loved to chase 32 Eth but simply i cannot afford them at the moment. I am sure after eth 2.0 fully launches there will be a lot of pooled staking introduced by a lot of projects, exchanges and wallets where we will be able to stake any amount so i will look into those options when available.

It is not enough to just buy 32 ETH and you become validator, things are more complicated than that.

First, your ETH will be locked for period of 2 years,and that is not insignificant at all.That means that you wont be able to get it back in case you want to seel.Once you send it to special contract adress,thats it.
Next thing,you will need decent computer to be abelt o run the node. Here are the recommended specifications

Operating system : 64-bit Linux, Mac OS X, Windows
Processor : Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-8310 (or better)
Memory : 8GB RAM
Storage space : 100GB solid state drive free space
Internet connection : Broadband Internet connection (10 Mbps)
Power supply : Uninterruptible power supply (UPS)

As you can see, computer will have to have UPS or uninterruptible power source because you will have to be online 24/7, 365 days per year. If not, you will get fine that will be deducted from that 32 ETH you deposited.

So obviously to become validator you will have to meet some technical requirements so this wont be for everyone, but those whho decide to join will get average 15% profit per year,which is good incentive.

With all this being set,I hope there will be some public pools that we will be able to join,for those like me who dont have 32 ETH or dont want to bother with all the other stuff needed to become validator.

It seems troublesome for individuals who own ETH and want to participate in the validation process, being locked out of ETH for 2 years at a 15% per year interest rate is not at all attractive.
It seems that these requirements are only suitable for large companies with modern machinery and large investment capital.

The profit of the mining will be nothing compared with the profit of holding... As we can see on this page (https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/ethereum-2-0) the profit in one year is 1.68ETH for holding 32, that's 5% of profit for staking 1 year.

Now if we see how much the prize grows in 1 year, we will realize it went from $185 to $450. That's more than 100% just for holding. So, i don't feel the staking with this coin is the raig way to make profit with it.

One thing I believe with this shift to Proof of Stake is that the rumour has been bought already, just waiting to sell. Most people that wish to stake have their 32Ether already and I believe someone like CZ is sitting on pile of Ether tokens already so do not need to buy from the market. The reward from staking Ethereum dwarf that of DEFI farming so I do not see people getting crazy about this
