Jeg har/havde en verificeret konto på MtGox og er bekymret for identitetstyveri da jeg havde uploadet diverse ID.

1) Er der andre, der står i samme situation, og har I politianmeldt det?

2) Burde jeg anskaffe mig en af de der identitetstyveriforsikringer?

There is no hard proof that any identity documents are stolen in the MtGox hack. All of this is rumors.

The only thing we know for a fact is that there's been at least 2 hacks, one in 2011, and one recently, and hackers claiming they had access to MtGox servers for a prolonged time.

Previously it was claimed by MtGox that identity checking was outsourced to another company.


Nobody really knows though.


So, the likelyhood of there being identity theft is low, but if you're paranoid, contact the local police for advice.
