Good to see fresh projects like Chainlink and Uniswap to be on the top of the market. Most new projects since the last bull market hardly survive the market. Indeed there are still rare gems in the market you just need to look hard for them and it will be worth it. Can't wait to see new innovations and fresh projects this upcoming year.

Not only this two there are some projects not yet very popular but a promising billion dollar market if became widely use I will not name them now since its really new one launch last July 2020 and the usecase also is really new to cryptoworld yeah its also a defi and I hope will be one of the most subscribed services in the coming years.

They are fortunate to come during the time of the Defi hype and they actually drive the market crazy. This is the reason why they are ranked high in CMC. Tezos is not a new project. I was expecting you to add YFI which went insanely high but it looks like the party is over now because the price is fallen. It is not only by ranking high but how long will they be able to keep flying high like coin such as BTC, LTC, etc. AION was one ranked high but where is it today ?

Most new projects are tied under top 100 on coinmarketcap today, it's not that easy for a new project to enter top 50 because there will be some challenges, with enough volume and liquidity that will be possible but adoption rate is the only thing to make this works, I hope there will be more good new projects in future, presently we have to small successful projects

The new project needs more time to enter the top 50-100, and sometimes the new project can not even reach the 500 coin list. It needs competition between each project, and if the project is good enough to compete with the other, the project will lift the position. It will better to stick to the top 50 coin list or lower list, so we don't confuse to choose. It is a challenge for every new project to prove that they are good at the market.

First, I would say, new projects can still deliver if the team change their thoughts and perception towards the crypto space, that is, changing it from aspect of personal gains to the aspect of more developements, with this, attention will be gotten and growth will be achieved.
Secondly, I would say, new projects can still deliver if the team starts looking towards good exchanges for their IEO, or looking towards good exchanges for token listing. It must not necessarily be top exchanges, but there are still valuable exchanges which can help a new project grow, so listing on that sort of exchanges will help them to grow and hence deliver.
Lastly, I would say new projects can still deliver, when the team stops unnecessary competitions, hype etc and focus on bringing about unique products and services which will push the project to success.

Not all new projects are scam projects, some are from inexperienced team and developers and others are still fairly good, it depends on how skillful you are with research though, good projects are still showing up but yes majority will disappoint, if you don't have good research skill better go for top coins

That's the main point. That's why it's a very important thing to analyze the track record of the team. If that was creating by the fake team and it's confirmed as a scam project. The unexperienced team will make the project will stuck and it will end as another exit scam project. The skill that's owned by the team can be considered as a very important thing as it will be the main thing to be used to build the project.

projects who already delivered good benefits and there are so many scam that are still ongoing from this field, but with good analysis, there are still

New projects especially if it is in defi, with good marketing strategies and team that they can execute everything well, even they are new they can raise big amount only in short span of time, but this is the thing, most of these projects now are prone to run after receiving the deposits, it is few that will go and follow their roadmap even they got a big money in return.

As it was before, now, new projects also fall into volume. As a rule, their number varies from 5 to 15 per year. However, not every such project has a bounty company.
Therefore, what you are talking about can be attributed to investing, which is a very good method of earning money, provided that you know how to analyze and understand projects. Technology is the future.

I know DeFi projects gained lot of postive reviews and welcomed in crypto domain but unfortunately once the value of Bitcoin started shooting up people have diverted from their basics and DeFi run has been sidelined by recent Bitcoin gains, I really wish DeFi projects doesn't end up underrated like other projects which met the same fate in the past

As what you've said, rare gems really are hard to find. There are lots of promising bounties all throughout this forum. Lets just hope that all new projects will have a very good team and a promising objective, if it wont have these two, it will be added again to the failed ones and will later on be compared to the similar bounties here.

Polkadot wasn't a rare gem because when people heard it's intro they easily got interested on it . Its creator was also part of the team that create etherium right ? Polkadot was the newest but also the most promising among all  . Chain Link wasn't new at all and uniswap do only got lucky because they of that huge airdrop they make . The risk huge money but luckily recovered that all and made more because many people are then tried them .

last two was aaved and synthetic , this two could be the newest because I haven't see a discussion for them yet .

Most of the new projects sometimes don't last long in the market, but in 2020 some new projects are very unexpected, especially like UNI and Polkadot. I don't think they can develop well this year. on the one hand DEFI is one of the main drivers of the sensation of new projects at this time and among other things maybe like DIA & OKS too.

I'm impressed that Chainlink has managed to keep it's top position in terms of market value. To be honest I didn't think they would go very far when I first heard about them, but they have stayed in the top 10 for quite some time.

crypto.com was up there for some time as well but have dropped back. More of a utility token though.

Actually some of those so-called rare gems doesnt really actually had some relevance but rather they do able to cling up into rankings just because they had been hyped.
I do exclude other projects though which does have that actual utility but finding these projects and investing into initial or early days would always put us on doubt.
Cant blame though because this market had been flooded out by fraud or trash projects.

Asking out on what new projects are rare gems? You would able to find out if they do able to get recognition.Even the shittiest ones do able to go to top ranks.

New projects are never things that we go against when we look at why something is not going to make it, the timing and when it releases is never the real reason. There are old projects that sucks and turn out to be either scam or fail, there are new projects that "will" become scam or fail as well, not all new projects could be this good.

You have listed some good new projects and I agree that these are quite good, they will probably stay at top 50 for at least next 2-3 years and they will continue to be awesome. However, if I wanted to show you how horrible some new projects are, I can name you 100+ coins in just 2020 that didn't even break into top 100 as well, they were all terrible. So, as you can see you are both right and wrong, some new projects are good like your list, and some new projects are just bad.

Most new activities since the last positively trending market barely endure the market.
