EuroKoin public test starts today

Website: www.eurokoin.com

http://s22.postimg.org/95qqurhup/m_1.png

INTRO
So, me and 2 friends wanted to release a coin, so after a lot of testing and with the help of some of this forum members like the creator of piggycoin we released EuroKoin.
We want to be able to give you services like renting vps's and finding some other merchants that support EU₭
We have a datacenter willing to get in as soon as the EU₭ has some market value and then you can for example rent some servers or vps using eurokoin but for now we started our tests.
We will keep working to improve eurokoin and wallets and give you services.

So if you can help, if you want to create a pool or introduce EU₭ to your trader please reach out to us.

How to add nodes?

you add to your .conf file addnode=XXXXXXXX.XXX (ip or domain)

if your node is 100% stable and works fine we can probably add it on the next wallet versions

Well...first of all... Don't be such a NOOB!!! Having said that... I didn't have to put in any addnodes anywhere. Just started the wallet-qt and it just synchronized.
Could be a couple of solutions to your problem

1) http://windows.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows/communicate-through-windows-firewall#1TC=windows-7
Take a quick look. Should fix the problem right there. It's probably your firewall keeping your wallet from connecting to the addnodes automatically.

2) If that doesn't work, you should try turning off you automatic virus protection for a little while (for like 5 minutes). Might give it a chance to connect (you should close the wallet first before you disable the virus protection software you're running).

Now... for this information I'd like to receive at least 100 MH/s scrypt mining hardware..... so order some and have it delivered to my crack'd up shack Wink Or 10 BTC... your choice Smiley

no mate not dead. you are connecting to the backup server.
the datacenter where the main server is had a problem with our company's rack and i have to migrate the whole main server to a new location. i will probably have to add more nodes and recompile the wallet. sorry for this. it will probably take a few days since i was sick the last 4 and could not keep up

But shouldnt there have been peers that everyone connects to and keeps going ANYWAY...? Its how crypto works - you don't depend on a single fallable server.

I'm disabling the coin on AllCrypt - when it is back up - contact us, we'll re-enable it.

Please re-enable it, IMHO it is working fine now.

The following 2 nodes should be pretty stable:
Code:
addnode=5.9.158.79
addnode=5.9.85.11

yes confirmed at least 4 nodes working at 100%

people please remove node
31.133.13.144
from your configuration if you use it. i will recompile the windows wallets with the new nodes after some more testing.
