It seems like there really needs to be a decent eurocoin, hopefully this one will take off.

ATENTION: maintenance and server migration of the first eurokoin main server due to high usage, mining and so on, we need to move to a more powerfull server.
from 1 to 2 hours of downtime for the miner and main node.
Thank you for your comprehension understanding

Well...first of all... Don't be such a NOOB!!! Having said that... I didn't have to put in any addnodes anywhere. Just started the wallet-qt and it just synchronized.
Could be a couple of solutions to your problem

1) http://windows.microsoft.com/nl-nl/windows/communicate-through-windows-firewall#1TC=windows-7
Take a quick look. Should fix the problem right there. It's probably your firewall keeping your wallet from connecting to the addnodes automatically.

2) If that doesn't work, you should try turning off you automatic virus protection for a little while (for like 5 minutes). Might give it a chance to connect (you should close the wallet first before you disable the virus protection software you're running).

Now... for this information I'd like to receive at least 100 MH/s scrypt mining hardware..... so order some and have it delivered to my crack'd up shack Wink Or 10 BTC... your choice Smiley

no mate not dead. you are connecting to the backup server.
the datacenter where the main server is had a problem with our company's rack and i have to migrate the whole main server to a new location. i will probably have to add more nodes and recompile the wallet. sorry for this. it will probably take a few days since i was sick the last 4 and could not keep up

But shouldnt there have been peers that everyone connects to and keeps going ANYWAY...? Its how crypto works - you don't depend on a single fallable server.

I'm disabling the coin on AllCrypt - when it is back up - contact us, we'll re-enable it.

Please re-enable it, IMHO it is working fine now.
