I run Windows 7 pro
I have Bitcoin core installed and synced
Location: C:\bitcoin
The data folder is: M:\BTC\blocks

Armory is installed at C:\Armory 965\Armory
C:\gebruikers\Stobor-6\AppData\Roaming\Armory\databases is empty
All these settings can also be found in the ArmorySettings.txt

Bitcoin core blocks are up to date.
Armory does not get the correct location for the data and does not prepare the databases.

The information regarding ArmoryDB screen:  https://pastebin.com/2VPVSyMp
Regarding the Armorylog: https://pastebin.com/6dT3D7a4
Regarding the armory settings: https://pastebin.com/f3m1aSMs

Any help is appreciated
Kind regards
Jerry

Ok, here is your biggest problem.

Windows 7 is outdated and insecure as hell.
You should not go online with a windows 7 machine anymore.

The best thing you can do is to upgrade it to windows 10 (still possible for free).

Windows 7 has reached its end of life, doesn't receive any security updates anymore and is missing tons of security features which are present in windows 10.
Using windows 7 is basically asking to get compromised and data stolen.

Now, regarding your problem..

From your logs:
Code:
BitcoindError: bitcoind not found

Can you confirm that the executable is indeed in the following path?
Code:
C:\Bitcoin

Armory seems to not be able to locate it.

Thanks for your advice regarding updating from Windows 7
I will upgrade.

bitcoin-qt.exe is indeed in the location C:\bitcoin.

I read somewhere on this forum to delete the content of the databases of Armory
C:\users\stobor\appdata\roaming\armory\databases

Which I did .... and then Armory started to work normally.
Found all the bits and pieces of Bitcoin again
However the ArmoryDB in the dos window is unchanged and stiill looking at a not existing path for the blocks as mentioned earlier
https://pastebin.com/2VPVSyMp

How to correct this?

Thanks again for your advice

You can either use the GUI -> Settings and enter the correct path (satoshi homedir), or you could modify the config file (usually in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Armory\armoryqt.conf) by adding:
Code:
satoshi-datadir="M:\BTC\blocks"

ArmoryDB in the dos window? Huh Are you running ArmoryDB manually for some reason? Huh It should automatically run as a hidden process in the background when you run the Armory GUI.

In any case, it looks like it isn't getting the correct path to your Bitcoin blocks folder... which is odd, because your original Armorylog file (https://pastebin.com/6dT3D7a4), showed that it was being set OK:
Quote
2020-11-11 13:09:20 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:1872 - setSatoshiPaths
2020-11-11 13:09:20 (INFO) -- ArmoryQt.py:1891 - Setting satoshi datadir = M:\BTC\blocks

I would suggest that you shut everything down, then restart the PC to ensure that there are not any "ghost" ArmoryDB processes running in the background... then run Bitcoin Core (and let it fully sync), then start Armory.

If you're still having issues, post your latest versions of the armory log files.
