What is OpoLotto?
OpoLotto is a fully autonomous online lottery, it runs purely on smart contracts on the blockchain and every transaction is visible for full accountability.

It does not work like your traditional lottery where you are required to pick numbers; instead your simply enter the draw and your odds are based on your entry amount. When the round is drawn, a winner is randomly picked. Think of it like a raffle, the more tickets you buy the more chances you have of winning and there is 9 prizes awarded every round.

When will I get paid after winning?
The winnings are immediately and automatically paid out the moment a round is drawn.

How Do I Play?
Simply input the amount you would like to enter and click Add. Visit https://opolotto.com/#howtoplay for more information.

When is a round drawn?
The following conditions must be met:
  • 10 players have joined
  • Prize pool minimum of 1000 TRX has been reached
  • The countdown timer has elapsed.
  • Finally, a player must initiate the draw

How Can I Win?
There are 3 different ways that you can win, totalling to 9 prizes.
  • Placed Prizes: When the round is drawn three players are picked at random and placed first, second and third respectively.
  • Early Birds: Early birds are prizes offered to the first 5 people to enter a draw, guaranteeing them a return.
  • Drawer Bonus: A bonus is paid to the player who performs the round draw.

If you have any others questions, join our Telegram https://t.me/OpoLotto.

Can you tell us more about your business plan? I know this isn't something that people talk about in public but I have some questions:
1. What's your budget?
2. What's your marketing strategy? There were a lot of similar projects and all of them failed, even serious ones.
3. Why do you think that your lottery system, even if it's better than traditional ones, will become popular?

These are the basic questions that I have because personally, I don't think that it's a serious project and will succeed. You didn't take care of your UI which plays a significant role between your and customers relationship.

Another brand new user opening a new thread and new site, this time it's a lottery I'm just wondering what is up to.

Lol Lottery game?
Better rename it to scam.
Well, it's still early to judge them let's not provide animosity just because they're new but let them have the benefit of the doubt. I'm just saying you're judging too early, IMO.

I reviewd the code and it is legit what their doing. how can it be scam when the contract is audited??? Maybe not many player yet since it's new but 100% NOT Scam, you can also check the code.

We 100% understand the perception, which is why we're putting out it out there so people can have a look and provide feedback. Our smart contract is verified and is visible on Github and we welcome anybody to look at it to ensure it is fair.

In regard to proof, what would you consider ample proof and we'll do our best to provide it?

Apologies in regards to the section, I didn't realise that this section was purely for BTC.

You're correct in that its not something that we typically really want to be sharing, we're are trying to be rather agile with this.

1. We do not have a predefined budget. Its not a project where we're trying to disrupt or make a big impact, we're aiming small at first and will see how it goes. Our goal is to invest the development and support share of each round into promoting it in the future. Additionally, we've already invested time and money and are not planning on stopping this investment unless there is no interest in the game moving forward.

2. We're trying to make our point of difference to focus on transparency so that people can see exactly what is going on. For example, once the TRX is in the draw we do not have the access to it and its only released when a round ends and the winnings are distributed. You can verify this in the smart contract if you like.

3. Again, transparency is our major difference. We also provide multiple opportunities to win prizes that don't just depend on how much you can afford to put in. Such as early birds and the drawer bonus can be awarded as long as you've played the the minimum game entry.

Another thing I would like to stress is the game is not actually controlled by us, its purely driven by the smart contract. In fact you do not even need to use the website and can do it all on Tronscan if you prefer, so even if we retire the website and shut down the project is will still run on the blockchain and will still be perfectly playable indefinitely.

In regards to the UI, we've aimed to keep it clean and simple though we're of course open to feedback.

Just to confirm, the balance on the smart contract cannot be accessed or manipulated by us or anybody else.

Happy to show proof that this is the official account, how do you prefer we do so? We will add a link to this thread on our website footer, will that suffice?

Yes, we understand lotto isn't for anyone. This approach is slightly different than traditional lotto in that you don't need to pick your numbers. Also, as you stated Lotto isn't available everywhere and we wanted to provide an unbiased outlet for people to play regardless of their citizenship.

We opted to create a new user to be transparent and not hide the fact that we're new and we completely understand the doubts and concerns.

As stated in other replies, we welcome anybody to audit the contract. There you can confirm that we're not able to manipulate the funds once they're in the game and only a round completion can disperse them. We hope that this fact alone can go a long way in building trust.

Thanks for playing peysab, I'd be curious to hear any feedback you have on your experience either here or on Telegram; if you're open to it.

Yes you're correct the source is open and we welcome everybody to have a look. We're not scamming and we've tried to make everything as visible to the public as possible but again, if you have any suggestions on how we can prove as much we'd love to hear them and will do what we can.

On the bottom-left of the thread click the move topic and move it to Tokens (Altcoins) board and it's good to be there. By the way, why there's a gap on the month of October on the GitHub repo? Are the team anonymous behind OpoLotto?

Thanks rhomelmabini, we've now moved the post to the Altcoins section and yes we are anonymous.

The Github contribution calendar is obviously not a clear representation of the work spent. In actual fact we developed the contract privately and then created a new repo for it when the game was launched and made public. Furthermore we only have a repo for the contract, our website and other tools can and will remain private unless we find the need to make them public.

Please keep in mind, as I touched on in my previous response, we don't actually need the website to run/play the game, it is entirely run on the Tron network. We have no other private dedicated backend powering the site.

Thanks for the reply. That's where I personally see the problem, you're aiming small at first. I think you'll achieve nothing (don't get wrong with me) with that strategy because this is the niche that was never taken by crypto projects despite the huge affords. I think you need big aims but it all comes with serious risks. You need great marketing!
Your website is simple but the simpleness of it looks like the website is made by beginner html/css learner. It's simple but not nice, you can make simple and very nice designs too, just do more research in UX field too, that's my advice.
Otherwise, wish you good luck.

We see where you're coming from, though we have to aim small at first. We are not a big company with a big budget and can't simply throw an infinite amount of money at it. It's something we're hoping will slowly attract users and grow organically. We agree that marketing is important however and are exploring our options.

In regards to the website, with all due respect we disagree. It was developed by professionals with years of experience to be clean and fast. Is it not perfect not final, our goal was simplicity to be easy to play and we believe we've achieved that. We know that many other sites approach with the more gamer style; so loud colors and graphics etc but that's not what we wanted.

If anybody is interested in how winnings are paid, this is the transaction from when Round 2 was drawn.

https://tronscan.org/#/transaction/56b0c5ebd16fab5fb39f29bf4962a623b0d20343162fb7704af7d08621afaed2

The key thing to notice is that the round was drawn by an anonymous player (TQB1tr...), and the winnings were paid in the same block that the winners were drawn which means instant payments.

Side note; the player that performed the draw claimed winnings of 2% of the prize pool.
