Until the court declares that there was a case of fraud in the election, I think Trump and his team needs to work with Bidens team and move towards a smooth transition, but that's not going to happen, cause according to Donald Trump, he won and there's not going be any transition. Having said that, if his team starts working with Biden's, then it's more like he has started to accept the reality that he lost the election, so that's exactly the reason why things will remain this way until there's a court decision on this issue.
Trump is day dreaming because he cannot accept the fact that he is dethroned and bear the record of the first incumbent to lose an election for a long time, Trump is an example on how not to win in your re election bid, so all those coming president will learn a lesson not to emulate Trump's policy, the worst president in times of pandemic.
Hm.
To be honest with you I think that Donald Trump would've won reelection handily if not for the Coronavirus. This election wasn't supposed to be this close, but it really was, just like in 2016 the deciding factor was a few hundred thousand votes spread across some swing states. If not for Corona and the Trump handling of it, then Trump would've EASILY cruised to reelection.
But yeah, we're here. Unprecedented times cause for an incumbent to lose for the first time since 1992? Trump being the fourth incumbent President since WW2 to lose reelection.
