Hi all, my TerraMiner randomly stopped working last night. When I plug it in, none of the lights come on, the fans come on, but not full power and that's it. It doesn't mine, I can't pull up the Control Panel, it doesn't even connect to the internet. Ambient temps are pretty low, it's in a room with all the windows open (38* outside) and a fan directed right at the TM.

Any help would be great! I tried contacting CoinTerra, but they take forever replying to e-mails, and when I call them it goes straight to voicemail.

I can't pull up the Control Panel, it doesn't even connect to the internet.

That sounds like your BeagleBone (the controlling computer responsible for running cgminer and lighthttpd, and all network I/O) isn't turning on. To be sure - are you unable to see a device show up on your DHCP list provided by your router? The MAC address might be identified as a Texas Instruments device if you use nmap to scan the network. The more information you provide, the better your results from this forum will be.

That sounds like your BeagleBone (the controlling computer responsible for running cgminer and lighthttpd, and all network I/O) isn't turning on. To be sure - are you unable to see a device show up on your DHCP list provided by your router? The MAC address might be identified as a Texas Instruments device if you use nmap to scan the network. The more information you provide, the better your results from this forum will be.

Yeah, it's not showing up at all. Won't connect to the internet (led on the router isn't turning on for that plug). I tried different plugs and different Ethernet cords also

That could still be caused by a lack of power to the board. Again, since you haven't provided much detail, I can only assume that you've checked basic things like tripped circuits, bad PSUs, etc.

If you're really desperate to get it going, and don't mind voiding your warranty, you can open it up and connect directly to the two boards with a PC. I've never done this, so proceed at your own risk. I'd only recommend this if you have quite a bit of time on your hands.

I'd rather not void the warranty. I'll give you all the details instead.

It was running fine, 24/7 for the past 12 days (since I got it). I've been mining on Ghash.io. This morning Ghash.io went down for about 20 minutes. It kicked to my failover, BTCguild. It mined for about 5 minutes and then stopped. When I checked on the TM, the lights on the front were off, but the fans still on (low speed). Neither breaker was tripped. I unplug it and plug it back in, again the fans came on, but the lights on the front did not. It's not showing up on the DHCP, in fact it's not getting internet at all. The LED on the router is not coming on for that ethernet cord (I tried different ethernet cords and different plugs). I tried using the reset button on the front, short press, and long hold... no lights came on, nothing changed.

So I tried unplugging and plugging it back in again and it's up and running again... I hope this was a one time issue, but I'm still going to try contacting their support.
