Yes, crypto is basically good, because crypto is built to make it easier for everyone to do new things professionally, not fraudulently, even though it has been almost three years that scammers have always been active in crypto, but basically crypto is good and good for use by anyone.

It's true that good new projects are coming into the space but thanks to the grand masters like Bitcoin, XRP, LTC, ETH, they are the reasons why crypto adoption works better, new projects aren't this close anymore, though few managed to enter top 10 but that is it, thanks to BTC we are this close to mass adoption and thanks to china for taking the bold steps to support crypto since past years now, now CBDC become a possibility because of crypto currency

I guess nothing happens, still the same people around to manipulate the price, hackers are everywhere ramping up their criminal activities, projects pump and then died. What remains are just prime mover projects in altcoin like Ethereum. Adoption is very slow though because there are still government around the world going full retard and anti-crypto and then heavy regulations coming in the crypto sphere.

It is illogical to say that there has been no progress for the better so far in the crypto world, unless it turns out that bitcoin prices are still the same as they were 10 years ago.
The existence of hacking and scam projects every year is an obstacle that hinders the development of the crypto world, but the fact that bitcoin is gaining acceptance in international startups shows we can overcome all of those hurdles.

We can't blame crypto for scammers, they are everywhere. For hacks and exploit of codes on the smart contract, it's the individual project and their security to blame, you can't blame the blockchain technology or the sidechain platform just because some developers failed to carry out his job properly.
Overall it's been a great decade for crypto, it has been one of the most viral technology that have take a huge foothold in just a matter of 10 years.

Crypto have been getting better since it's launched, bitcoin have fought through the hardest wars in the past and so far it only gets better, here are few things that Bitcoin went through and achieved in the process

In 2014 microsoft accepts bitcoin, In 2015 Nasdaq agreed to start using Bitcoin's blockchain technology, that's where every scattered pieces start getting together to form a stronger community, I remember crypto involvement of JP Morgan in 2019 and now CBDC is here.

Here is my opinion, as per my own experience with crypto for the past few years. As far as adoption by the masses is concerned, crypto is still very young. Sure we are getting better and becoming more knowledgeable but I think 10 years is very young for a technology that is destined to propel the world to greater heights. As I mentioned on another thread, we need sophisticated infrastructure so that we can pull off many things that will use blockchain and benefit from it. Blockchain is a revolutionary technology and is destined to be of wide usage in the next 15 years or so, as long as the financial powers that be would not see it as a threat.

We certainly had the technological advancements in those 10 years. We have governments issuing their own blockchain based coins to replace the fiat money. The prices of old coins have increased and is stable on a higher price. The price rise is backed by more demand and adoption both by public and corporates. Fund raising through crypto has always been a hit and miss and still we haven't found a proper way to do that.

In 2010, Bitcoin was just an interesting experiment. 

At that time, only computer geeks were interested in cryptocurrency.  It was not important for them to make a profit.  In 2017, the situation has changed.  ICOs appeared, thousands of different altcoins and tokens.  It was like the gold rush in America.  The crypto industry was the Wild West (complete lack of laws and regulations).  In 2018-2019, states paid attention to cryptocurrency.  However, over-regulation of the cryptocurrency industry can destroy its essence - decentralization.  Cryptocurrency was created as an alternative to fiat currencies and traditional finance.

I cannot answer the question - has the situation with cryptocurrencies improved or not ...

I cant say we`re getting better and better we have also downs like in 2018, I think that year is the ATL of all atlcoins and bitcoin after the ATH of all crypto currencies . it started to recover in 2019 till now, I wish it will continue to 2021 and looking forward for the next trend or maybe continue the DeFi trend.

Yes, but if we look at the current trend in DeFi, it seems that it is still very fragile when compared to other systems that are very popular, if DeFi is really developed more mature in the next year, then those who like it will clearly increase and the positive values will definitely be more visible.

The community is definitely more mature after all these years. Back in the old days when ICOs were spreading like mushrooms after the rain a huge number of people got scammed and lost significant amounts.
Nowadays ICOs/IEOs are kind of rare in the space. Even if they do appear from time to  time, they can hardly meet their soft caps.

In conclusion, I'd say that the crypto industry is becoming safer as we advance. This might be due to stricter regulations, though.

in my opinion this is getting worse, ICOs, IEOs are scam now,
because many of our new projects are also difficult to choose who will be successful,
hacking is also getting hotter, Kucoin has become a victim this year, but in 10 years blockchain is still difficult to hack,
and still safe, make sure you store the assets in your private wallet only.

You talked as if all IEO and ICO are scam, where were you when Avalanche raised fund through ICO this year? Where were you when all IEO projects on binance exchange are giving investors good ROI? It shows that you have low experience when it comes to doing research on crypto projects, hacking takes place on centralized exchanges and it's a possibility because funds are store on the exchanges 24/7, it's the exchange job to upgrade security from time to time

It's not all about adoption that comes from the paypal but this time the institutional investors are interesting to take crypto as a potential thing to be used by them all to generate more profit.
You can see so many institutional investors have been joining to be bitcoin holders.
That creates the hype in the market and i can't deny that if ico or ieo will have another chance again to get the goldten time.

Hacking is not good but we have an improvement compared to the past, before, when an exchange get hack, they don't survive, but now, we have Binance and Kucoin that was hacked but they are still servicing traders now, which means the market is getting stronger already as even if one exchange will not operate, we still have many that are willing to provide the trading needs.

Couldn't agree more. We have achieved so much progress since bitcoin was created. We are now having more than 3000 cryptocurrencies. Although not all of are good, some perform outstandingly. Just look at ethereum, bitcoin cash or xrp. Tezos is also a choice for many people. I cant wait to see how the crypto world ameliorates in the next few years. I bet crypto will have an important role in the economic system. Look at bitcoin, it has transformed into one of the most valuable asset

Yes, we (cryptocurrency) are absolutely getting better. There are wide varieties of businesses have adopted crypto, compared to lets say 5 years ago that only financial related businesses use crypto, now we have from Health, Lifestyle, entertainment and many other types of business are utilizing cryptocurrency. About the hacking and scam project, I don't think it will disappear no matter what. Even the conventional business and financial system that has been existed for centuries still facing the same issue.
