oh shit, scamers are back rampant again. I don't blame nigeria but most of the con artists are from that country. but maybe it's true that not all scamers come from there, but every time you hear the news of fraud, whether coincidence or uncertain is always from that country.
I also agree with you, it's not that I hate African countries,
but there are indeed a lot of scammers, I have followed Webercoin and Golix,
and I bought their ICO, then my $ 800 on Golix was lost because their site was closed,
whether this was my worst experience, and after that I hated with project in africa.

You shouldn't blame me from running away from any crypto project that has a nigerian as one of its members, I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though but .......here is a news I came across yesterday,

Nigeria Authorities Put mastermind of Inksnation and Pinkoin blockchain projects on wanted list

The full details can be read on here too

https://news.bitcoin.com/nigerian-authorities-put-mastermind-of-the-inksnation-crypto-scam-on-wanted-list/

Scamming has no race, country, color or country. There are both honest and dishonest people in business.
Even in a team in a company, there could be insincere people there.

So, here is my rules; do your due diligence before investing in any project.

Of course you shouldn't avoid any african project just because one known crypto scammer is from nigeria.
But you also can't blame someone that made a personal negative experience with an african project (it was the DimCoin ICO in my case, which is pretty much completely dead now) that he is in extra wary in the future before he invests in projects that are from the same region.
I like the fact though that nigeria is now officially looking for this dude now. I hope they get him.

True, the name Nigeria doesn't rig a bell anymore since it's been proven many times already that the country is full of con artists and scammers not just in crypto space but also other things like romance scam, I hope they get this guy and he get what he deserves

Cryptocurrency scammer can come from any place and so many of them have been declared wanted by various authorities of different countries before, to ascribed this statement to Nigeria alone is an act of racism. No doubt I have seen so many projects with Nigeria member tend to become scam before but I still don't base that on the county rather then individual difference so bro before you invest into any project do your due diligence.

It's not about the country because every country has a scammer, so instead of avoiding projects with a Nigerian team member, let's just be careful whenever we make investments. It is said in the news that their token is not listed in any exchanges in their country so there's already a doubt, yet people still believed their testimonials when it can be manipulated or faked.

It's now hard to believe with claims like they will give you a monthly salary so this should be a lesson to people there not to easily believe in what they see on the internet, and to always do their research first.

Many people do say that crypto scams are mostly come from African countries, and I think it's kinda true. Many people says, it would be much easier to earn huge amount of money from doing illegal activities such as scam, instead of working as an employee, especially in developing countries because their salary is not enough for them.

Even if the scammer is apprehended by the Nigerian Police force, thing still remains that those who invested in the pinkcoin scam have lost their funds, I'm actually even surprised that the Nigerian Police are actually involved in this case of digital fraud; I just hope that there are less cases of fraud using digital currencies in Nigeria, as the Nigerian government could have no other choice but to impose regulations on Bitcoin and other digital currencies and looking closely at the rising numbers of crypto enthusiast in the 'Giant of Africa', that could be bad news for adoption.
Nigerian Police force aren't the one after this scammer, it's the duty of the EFCC as they called it, about the regulation thing you expect that to work out in a country like Nigeria? Lol this is so laughable, the fact is Nigeria is still living in 1994 era, if other countries are hundred steps forward Nigeria is hundred steps back. Not even china can regulate crypto talkless of Nigeria

Saying Nigeria in particular makes it sound offence to me, cus I'm a Nigerian, and not everyone here is as dishonest as this guy, besides scamming has no race,in every country there are honest and dishonest people, same thing goes for business, so stop saying it like it's in one country alone, this guy in the picture made a promise he couldn't fulfill, thats why he has been declared wanted by the EFCC,he created a project that is in form of a "money doubling scheme" , I always knew it was going to end up like this that's why I stayed away.

You're wrong mate, scammers are in every country or continent not just Africa alone, they are always bad fruits in the mist of good ones so don't just say all fruits are bad, cus of the few bad ones.

...Nigeria Authorities Put mastermind of Inksnation and Pinkoin blockchain projects on wanted list...

The fact that the Nigerian government has put Sewanu on the wanted list is good news. It is very important not only to detain him, but also to return the funds stolen by him from investors. After all, it often happens that the scammer is detained, but the money is not returned to the victims.

I agree with you not all nigerian are scammers because I have known some are good and honest. Actually scam are everywhere we cannot deny that, in fact even in our country there are also many scammers. There's no race and no to discrimination this is why we have to be careful not to be a victim of this scam. This is also an awareness to some that scammer are always there ready to grind to take the money.

This is the reason why regulations are becoming stricter, and exchanges are enforcing KYC initiatives.
Even KYC cannot stop scammers, with the current lax KYC process anyone can forge their profile to pass the KYC.
I think the best way to combat scammers is that we need stricter regulation in the cryptocurrency market.

Scammers are everywhere and from all countries. Since it is easy to scam in the cryptocurrency world and easily escape after being scammed, this is why there are so many scammers in this industry.

Whether he is from Nigeria or any other country he has scammed investors from all over the world. I think this is why the exchanges are getting tougher day by day and paying more attention to kyc.

This is right, we should not blame others for wrong doing of one person. Scammers always do exist in any platform, business and others. Crypto is already popular in any country and has many opportunities open to any users, so there are many scammer able to get an instant money. As been saying by others let us always do analyze the situation before we judge other people and before investing a certain project we should search to avoid a victim of scam.

These type of people are serial scammers, they will keep coming up with a new project after closing one.
So i highly appreciate the action against such people and i think they should be put behind the bars so that people will not be scammed anymore.

Nigeria and African countries are mostly scammers in this Crypto market. They do everything to cheat other people's money and run away from their own country. There has never been a successful Nigerian-led project so far, most of them scams or a bad project that could not raise funds.
In the crypto market we have a lot of confidence in the Chinese, the Koreans and the Americans. Most of the above countries have a lot of Blockchain geniuses as well as ways to evolve the crypto market to new heights.
Anyway, I'm not racist, it's just Asians and Europeans who have made a huge contribution to the success of the crypto market right now.
