Will Monero (XMR) ever break its ATH price?

If there is one Privacy coin that is sure and true, Monero is the one. As time goes Monero is going to reach its ATH again because the demand is there and as people continue to use Darkweb and other illegal sites the demand for MOnero is goign to increase, there is a reason why it is still standing, where are all these so called privacy coins

I do not look at coins and their ATH prices because many altcoins reached to levels where they would never see for a long time, it has been nearly three years and there are only a few that reached its ATH but almost %99.99 of them didn't reach there, which is why I do not believe monero may do it neither.

Moreover, it doesn't need to reach all time high to make you profit. For example, if it made 4x today, it would be 492 dollars and that is "nearly" all time high but still doesn't break it and it makes you 4x anyway. It could make 2x easily and be at 246 dollars and it would still be very profitable. So, as you can see it doesn't matter if a coin goes to all time high levels or not, it just matters if it makes you any profit or not and that is all I care about.

I feel Monero might not be able to break it's ATH because now the maket is different than it used to be in 2017 and 2018, so most of the altcoins might not break their ATH and Monero was much hyped which led to massive pump and then it went through correction phase and now it has multiple competitiors in the market so it would be a difficult task for Monero to break ATH.

i totally agree with your opinion that in an environment where governments all over the world are trying  to regulate all kind of Financial products including crypto currencies, the exchanges are reluctant to deal with such currencies which might put them in trouble. We all know that this crypto currencies world is full of surprises and whether it breaks its ATH record, only the time will answer.

Any coin can break its ATH but the question is on when will be always unpredictable and this market had been like this neither it can shoot up or go down or move sideways.

Theres no doubt that Monero is a privacy coin but doesn't mean that it will sit next to bitcoin when it comes to entire cap but for sure among other of alts I do see this project
to be more worth for long term.

Just don't stress out yourself on when it can reach out its ATH price or even surpass because it all matters with the demand from time to time.

Monero last ATH price was $495.84 not $494 and it have also gained popularity as a privacy coin long ago but the every genuine cryptocurrency are always expect to clinch new ATH when it total bullish market which was what occurred in the years you mentioned.

But Monero isn't acting that way and how can you be so sure about of the price in the future since I can't barely see the movement of Monero to even reach the $200 yet. Bitcoin is in the bullish trend but most altcoins isn't responding to the price growth, which means that there are less demand in the altcoins market. And also I don't think next year will make any difference too but who knows? Crypto market is always unexpected when it comes to the price.

Let's be honest with each other, monero high price of 495 dollars looks pretty far away, we are not breaking that anytime soon at all. Monero is a great coin and I definitely support them, bitcoin wanted to make people anonymous a bit but that wasn't the real thing bitcoin focused on, it was never the intend, sure having just an address made you a bit of anon since it wasn't your name there, but it wasn't fully anon, whereas monero literally makes you hide from anything you want and that is a great deal, especially when you do not want others to check out your finances anytime they want.

However it did attracted some bad people as well, which is why there are tons of good people who stay away from monero fearing that they will be mistaken for those bad people. All of this causes it to not go over 500 anymore.

Well said. Certainly , we will see huge rally in Alt coin  price if and when BTC price will stabilize around 20K. History of 2017 will be repeated once again. They will also break their ATH and investor will book 2 to 10X profit. The BTC dominance is above 65% now, once it starts coming down, Alts will start moving upwards.

It has a bit of a shady image as you say, so has Bitcoin back in the early days. I remember talking with people about it and they told me to keep away from it lol

This image can be resolved by showing its capacity, sure it is being used by traffickers/drug lords ... so is USD / EUR. People who are looking for financial freedom (as in not being watched by the big dogs) will start looking into privacy cryptocurrencies like Monero.

I believe that anonymous cryptocurrencies, such as Monero, have not yet fully revealed their potential and their demand in any case will still grow in the near future. There is possibility but it is currently low especially because the ATH is currently far and the current price of the XMR is just $122. In the daily chart, the XMR is now becoming good but in the weekly chart; XMR is not yet good because it is still in sideways when it comes to weekly chart. I would like to see that the XMR should beat the $150 before I considered it as a healthy movement. I'm expecting that it can reached $500 as long as there are investors that will patronize this coin. I do not have information about its news and updates because I'm not a fundamentalist and I just focusing on charts and price action.

XMR has good fundamentals, and this is an old coin, if you believe in XMR and hold on for the long term,
of course the altcoin season will bring XMR flying, don't worry.
