Good initiative. It would have been better if there were more questions related to crypto. Privacy and Security are related to crypto and this being a crypto forum has many users who would be interested in taking a quiz related to privacy and security in crypto.
Well I got a 4. Wonder if that's out of 10 or 5
Also got 4 and would like to know to which sets of questions my answers were wrong. The set on "authentication types" seems to be doubtful. The options were 2FA, e-mail, SMS and biometric but every of those choices is the type of authentications belonging either to 2FA or 2SV. Oftentimes people do not see the difference between both.
I don't remember the question exactly but I guess it was something related to authentication type for unique passwords.
I remember selecting biometric authentication since 2FA, e-mail based and SMS based services are able to provide OTP.
Biometric authentication does not have OTP and requires the same biometrics every time.
- Question 2, "which one is not a strong password": The first three answers are all weak passwords because the first one just used alphabets and increasing number sequence in a row ("bc12345"), second answer is just your username with a few letters after it ("Serious475US") and the third answer is just a dictionary word with some of the letters replaced by uppercase letters or numbers ("D0gH0us3"). Only the fourth answer is a strong password because it is a long random string of characters.
I gave the answer as "bc12345" because it is easy to predict and can be brute forced easily.
- Question 5, "which is not a type of authenticator": First answer "2FA" is a generic word that refers to all types of authenticators so this question has no correct answer.
Isn't 2FA an authenticator ?
The question had 4 options 1. 2FA 2. SMS based 3. e-mail based 4. biometrics
Since biometrics cannot provide OTP I thought it to be the right answer.
P.S : what was your score ?
