Wow your prediction is right bitcoin already reached $20,000.. Bitcoin is making history again it reached ATH but the altcoins seems few only were following bitcoin to increase. Well maybe it's not yet let's see what will happen in the next days if we can see the bullish market or not.

not the time for altcoin dude, now let bitcoin fluctuate as many have expected by everyone, because I know the current value of bitcoin will continue to increase beyond what many people think. the extent to which this will go we just have to wait for the altcoin to play its part.

Well I'm happy for you, for many it's not the same story for example some people bought BTC @ the ATH of 2017 and this year they are able to recover their exact invested amount in 2017, so no Profit for waiting all this years for crypto to recover, it's still very uncertain if Bitcoin will grow over 20k, if that happens that's when those who buy at 20k in 2017 will earn some profits, for now it's nothing

i have to say that i am surprised that $20k was broken this fast, it was actually expecting it to take at least another try and failure before price goes above it but it seems like that the bitcoin traders are also learning from their past mistakes and aren't going to miss the opportunity to buy bitcoin "cheap" specially with all the fresh money that is being dumped into bitcoin these days.

Strange that this thread was actually created last November when the price hasn't touched $20,000 yet but yes congrats to all and I hop this will continue to rise up we all are celebrating. The constantly buying of the  institutional investors that are coming like the latest Mass mutual has really brought more money into crypto that its almost impossible that the hard wall on $20k just break this easy.

It is not that strange as the price started its rally during that time and we already rallied near this valuation last month and hence i am sure the OP created the thread because of that. I did not want to see the price rallying this fast because of personal reasons  , because of the pandemic i am getting half of my salary for several months and yet i was not able to invest like i wanted.

The reason for the rally is obviously the institutional investors and they keep on pumping huge amounts in the market and i wanted to know how long they will be pumping the money in the market.

Surprise to upside, I guess its broken back into a positive trend.   Here is a fib sequence for previous prices and this latest action, we were held back but only by trends which were appreciating over time.    The price is no doubt full but none the less under demand and rising, I guess it must be demand ongoing.

 

hourly bars on first showing we stay above 2 day momentum, daily bars second and we extend the full visible bands of prior action to the upside.  If I check volume its also positive about equal to the start of this month in that sell.

Always remain as a question on where we dont know on when it would stop neither it would continue for a few thousand bucks movement or  would definitely had some price correction afterwards.

We are moving way too fast which i highly doubt that there would be some nasty correction later on when those people who do tend to sell on 20k price mark and since the price had surged to 21k and might
even reach 22k in no time.

Actually had some doubts when we do move that fast because we do already had the experience wayback into those previous years.

The price still in the early phase after successfully break the big wall of $20k, the next resistance probably around $21,5k-$21,8k before bitcoin reaches $22k.
However, the price will climb higher in the short term and in the long term, hopefully, the market still holds on a little bit longer than just decide to massive sell out.

Well, we might as well say Congrats to everyone for reaching $21k.

The price today just went on a massive spike to even get over $21k. So $20k now is history, we are looking for more like $25k in the next coming weeks assuming there will be no liquidation happening after a history jump to $21k today.

But we should remain calm and not to be excited just because we reach new all time high. The market is still open for many all time highs specially next year so I would say to just HODL for now.

Yes, there seems to be a mini resistance there. After hitting 22k it went down and now it's hit that mark again. Once we have past the old ATH I'm not in a hurry to see to price go up because if it goes too fast we will probably have a deeper retreat.

Well yep, few hours would be that.    Its not full resistance, its a trend part of a price channel and we crossed the lower band earlier and moved up so much we now scaled up to the higher part; a bit like railway tracks they mark out a rough range to bullish action.   Previous week we fell out of this and traded outside but its recovered as of late Friday and gone and done this, hard to track this kind of swing.  22k can be where it rests for now but its not really on the leash right now especially.

Yes, very similar to December 2017, but I'm sure this is not the top yet. Usually December is like a pump every year, even in a bear market. So there could still be some spike next year, but it won't be parabolic maybe the rapid gains we have in the last 24 hours will continue as the price goes to $23k already. But we all know that after this kind of gains, it won't be sustainable. At least seeing a new all time high for us this 2020 is already a big achievement. Resistance could come along $23k, in my opinion.

Pricisely, another achievements as many people who are not into this industry called the last2017 bull as bubble, now it's repeating itself after some years.Those who manage to continue collecting are now gainers even they'll still kept what they've got few years ago. This new high is not sustainable but also a good glimpse to remember that the price always have possibilities to rise more. We will see more new ATH as market shows continually appreciations and it will lead to more adoptions from bigger businesses.
