nothing is impossible for bitcoin, usually I see a lot of big people doing predictions correctly, so it's not that Citibank Executives are right either, we still appreciate every person's analysis, but actually everyone seems to know that bitcoin is always like that every 4 years, I have heard this on almost all social media and analysis of some crypto experts, if it were easy to touch $ 20k, I think it would be easier to touch above $ 300k

I know that nothing is impossible in this coin yet it is very unpredictable, however, do you think it is possible for Bitcoin to grow that big within just a single amount of time? Yeah maybe we can set a new ATH right now but I don't think it will grow that big in just 12 months. Besides just like you have said Bitcoin halving only occurs every 4 years and it is more likely Bitcoin only makes a huge movement after the halving so I don't think will touch that amount in just as a small amount of time maybe it will take a decade or more. Unless if there something unexpectable happens.

Many are looking for possibilities but it's really hard to think about how could bitcoin to reach that far and the given figures are so huge and it needs a massive demand before we can reach that far. I don't know if bitcoin could sustain it's current strong stands next year since we don't know on what will happen on that year, but if there's something big gonna happen which trigger a transferring from traditional fiat to bitcoins maybe we can possibly see that happen.

That's not how it's worked in the past. Eventually the previous ATH becomes a fond memory. It's one small step on a much larger trajectory upwards. If we match other cycles then this year is nothing other than a warm up. The real action is next year.

We have no way of knowing whether it will repeat in a similar fashion but right now it's looking that way.

We are good in propagating FOMO, and the best time to do it is when Bitcoin is moving up and after the halving, it will always a good topic to cover, to question and to support, because we are all investors.

No, the next year will not be bearish one. I think bitcoin can break records in next year 2021 as it did in 2017. We cannot imagine right now how high bitcoin can go. It may reach 50,000$ or could go to 500,000$. Anything is possible once it comes to bitcoin price.

I like the optimism behind Citibank but that price is very optimistic although I'm not saying that this is impossible but the chances of it to happen is just close to zero.

In 2017, Bitcoin started from around $1000 in January to near $20,000 by the end of the year and that is around 2000% increase. Do they expect that this will happen again next year? Maybe? Nothing is impossible in crypto however the price he predicted by the end of 2021 seems unrealistic because its too high. Now the current price of bitcoin is almost near to last ath but it takes years before we see the price of bitcoin surging this way. It always move upside down and even plunged to $3k that many investors lose patience and sell.

Well the good thing about bitcoin is there's always possibility for much higher price due to worldwide supporters and investors that can make the price soar high. As long as there's a high demand then we can expect a positive result.

Think about it this way. If they were 100% it would trade at $318K in 13 months, then why tell everyone the secret instead of just secretly buying the coins themselves? This is similar to how McAfee said that BTC will be $1,000,000 back in 2018 and people believed him.

I am sure their analysis is mainly due to the fact that in the past when btc broke ATHs, it went up multi times such as 20x in 2017. So $318K mathematically makes sense since the halving is also done and less supply entering everyday.

It also matters if $318K hits, will it stick to that figure. It might quickly go to $318K and a couple days later go back down. There will be a sell side liquidity crisis such as in 2017 and BTC can double and double in a matter of days however that number needs to hold for it to be a stable price. Just like almost nobody bought or sold any BTC at $19K back in 2017 since it was there for a few hours before crashing down.

Yeah, we can only follow the bitcoin journey while trying to take the benefits from the up and down of the price. If you want to buy bitcoin in a big amount, you need to wait until the price is at a low price, which can help you buy many bitcoin. Maybe that $318,000 will really happen by the end of 2021, so we can prepare from now on to make more and more bitcoin. That's true mate, we ought to wait for the cross of the All Time High in 2017 before making progressive assumption towards future Bitcoin price. But nothing bad from what OP said but not this time IMO. But wait, the $100k landmark hasn't been reach and somebody talking about far above that?, that's unfair in my honest opinion. Let wait for the ending of 2020 Bitcoin price before calculating the 2021.

I believe it will be around 40-50 thousand dollars and that is both a big increase and also a great realistic price as well. Nobody could be upset about bitcoin reaching $50k for example, everyone will be happy about it (except some shorters) and it wouldn't be too out of question neither, we are talking about something really possible. So, it is totally possible for us to make that type of profit.

I can't really say that it is going to be $50k for sure, maybe I am wrong but that is the max cap I can see bitcoin going, anything higher would be way too unrealistic and if it happens it could be a bubble that could drop a lot as well. One thing I am certain about is that if we could break over $20k barrier and go higher, those under $10k prices will be history and probably never happen again.

No, i dont think that it can reach up that high even if we do say for a decade or more because if we do consider that price per bitcoin then imagine on what would
be the entire cap would be? It will be topping out or blow out those fiat in terms of marketcap in water and do we really think that they would allow such thing to happen.?

Being bullish isnt bad and making these speculations basing on technicals arent bad too but we should at least be realistic.
