Yesterday bitcoin already reached $18,000 which is near to the last 2017 ATH. It shows how important bitcoin is  after 2017 ATH then suddenly crashed and  now coming back to catch up again or maybe even exceed its ATH. Bitcoin is really valuable and the demand on it keep on increasing. Some big companies are now adopting and allowing cryptocurrency buying and selling like Paypal and Square.  And now not only big companies but also millionaires want to buy and use cryptocurrencies. I think, nothing can stop the continued increase in adoption of bitcoin.

Quote
The number of millionaires wanting to buy cryptocurrencies is on the rise, with a new survey indicating that 73% want to own digital assets before the end of 2022.

“As the survey shows, this impressive performance is drawing the attention of wealthy investors who increasingly understand that digital currencies are the future of money and they don’t want to be left in the past.”

Thanks for sharing and, in fact, that survey well represents what I've always thought.
We have been experiencing a greater demand for bitcoin and new on-ramps for more institutional and conventional sources.
A bitcoin for sale shortage is just around the corner and I keep repeating myself around the forum: there are not enough full bitcoins for everyone.
They are coming for your coins, watch out! Cool

Well..in my opinion they've been staking in crypto for a long time, quietly or publicly denying it and probably got it at much cheaper prices.

I’ve been trying to get hold of the survey itself, but it does not seem to be around not on their website. They could anomize the data and publish their findings in aggregate terms in order to go further than the summarized public declarations.

I’ve no doubt that the portafolios are increasingly including Bitcoin in their distribution, and in a fast paced market, the 2 year maximum deadline (end of 2022) is seemingly far off. Perhaps they’ve got the figures for current and 1 year off periods of time, which is what I was looking for.

I don't believe in survey and have more reasons to not believe in online surveys.

If the survey is correct and the article gives us the truth, it is a good signal (increase from 68% to 73%) that millionaires slowly change their minds and wise capital from millionaires whales will join crypto market. It will bring another wave of big capital flow into bitcoin after institutional investments.

The ages of those millionaires are unknown but I think they are young or up to middle ages.

When you are dealing with the IRS, the collection agency and any other collections that you might be responsible for, you need to know that you are working on making sure that you are always aware of what you are doing for victoria secret phone harassment.

Hello mate! Your reply to my post is not related to my topic or even in cryptocurrency. Victoria’s Secret Stores LLC is not also adopting bitcoin as payment for their products.

I'm not surprised they own or want to invest in crypto during bullish rally. If the survey had bee conducted in March there would have been no such result.

The 2017 rise was fulled by ICO fever and FOMO which was largely small-scale individual investors. The difference now is that we've had a few more years of history, and anecdotal evidence suggests that the current rise is backed to a much greater extent by institutional investors and other serious players - people who are less likely to panic, and are generally more astute in their investment decisions. It bodes well for the future.

I think they are just hype for the current state of Bitcoin where the price reached for $18k and they think that they can double up their fortune if they invest with it maybe we should count them in once they are already on the industry. But also it's good to see the millionaires are looking at the bitcoins right now since this is another big help for Bitcoin if they can influence other millionaires to join here.

Do they buy bitcoin for its true advantages? Or they just dont want to miss the opportunity to earn money  Roll Eyes

I love to see how people react to bitcoin nowadays but it does not necessary that they truly want to adopt this technology. In 2017, there were numerous of novice investors who want to earn fast money from the ultra FOMO. And most of them ended up losing money. Some even hate bitcoin forever.

But the current momentum tells us another story. I believe that this uptrend is more powerful than the previous. We are having the stability in our market which is built by veteran and rich people

There is one bad news for all those millionaires who are just planning to invest in BTC, while they are considering whether or not to invest, the price of BTC will be higher and the amount available on the market will be smaller. Luckily for everyone else who doesn't have millions, the fact is that a good part of those millionaires are not very intelligent, inheriting a million is not the same as earning it.

The later they invest the better, let the wealth be redistributed a bit - so let everyone who has at least 0.10 BTC become a millionaire at least in their national currency Cheesy

Earn money most likely, though those that haven't bought any are most likely pretty late to profiting big off of Bitcoin. The more they invest now, the more that their wealth would just be pretty much given to other early investors instead of the wealth of others going to them. Most late investors were only there due to the hype, as well as the imagination of Bitcoin starting off of at less than a dollar to what it is back then and now.

Well, they're more likely to profit off of this time compared to the 2017 one. This one, as you said has stability in it, compared to how 2017 went which can be compared to how a roller coaster literally rolls you up high just to let you fall deep down afterward. Hopefully, though, it continues, and we can stand at this level as a stable level for the near future.

Millionaires hve been showing interest on crypto since a long time now. They are just not vocal about it! Otherwise, do you think the recent bitcoin purchases by the corporates were an overnight decision? Definitely no! Possibly the process of making those purchase decisions had started 1 year earlier than the execution date! But because these are company secret, they were well guarded and only came out to public after the purchase!

I sincerely hope this trend continues!

While it's good for the price and the future of Bitcoin that millionaires are interested, I don't think it's enough. These people are already very rich and have more money than most people will even earn in their life. So them getting even richer by investing in Bitcoin is not very inspiring to me. Bitcoin  is something that allows people with low income to get a chance, people from countries with terrible economies to survive by keeping the little they have in BTC. Moreover, for these millionaires Bitcoin is probably just another way to get even more money, as if they even need it. Most of them probably doesn't care about technology and ideas that Bitcoin represents, and are not interested in the increase in usage of Bitcoin as money.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Whether this is just some sort of hype for the millionaires to encourage their fellow millionaires to engage in cryptocurrency or the survey is legit, what's important is these rich people will be the main contributors for Bitcoin to reach the unthinkable price range.
One thing I have noticed in this current bullrun is that, people loves to add more hype to the crypto market as If they are rushing things out for Bitcoin to reach new ATH

The question is would all those millionaires want to hold bitcoin after a fresh crash? To me, this sounds like the majority of them are only interested in bitcoin now, after all these years, because it's having a bull run.

It also means that these are the kind of people who won't take steps to protect their financial privacy or control of their bitcoins, just using an exchange to store it all.

Recently a Mexican Billionaire announced that they put 10% of their liquid holdings into Bitcoin, I think the trend will continue.  For the wealthy being invested in many things that hold or increase value is very important.  They know fiat currencys are being printing at shocking rates and likely that will not stop anytime soon but rather only increase.  Look at the m2 money supply to see for yourself.

The rich always try to multiply their wealth because they are scared of coming down poor, so they search for places to invest like stocks but that has not been profit oriented lately that is why bitcoin is their next consideration. My guess therefore here is that if bitcoin crosses the last time high and holds stronger, you will see more millionaires investing in bitcoin.

I really like this kind of news as it only shows that millionaires are now starting to believe in bitcoin not only because of it's current price but because of it's continous and steady acceptance from popular companies like what happened to PayPal and other popular companies who are now accepting bitcoin.

If those millionairs will start to accumulate their own bitcoin then it will surely push the bitcoin price to increase it's value to a new ATH or even higher to what we are expecting. Maybe we can see bitcoin price to reach above 100k$ if those millionaires will start to make their move in buying bitcoin.

Great news.

First people were laughing at bitcoin that it's a money for nerds like world of warcraft or diablo gold. Then they were saying it's money of the dark net because of that huge silk road case. Next it was ransomware and bitcoin became money of extortionists and hackers. Now it finally became digital gold.

In time it's going to be reserve currency, you'll see.
