Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world?

Bitcoin might or might not make someone the richest person in the world but it have the potential to change the life of someone from below poverty line to an average household pay, When I say bitcoin will improve the standard of living for some people I mean it through the opportunity Bitcoin has created through various channels including the signature campaigns here. At some or the other point, the richest will use and adopt bitcoin and it's not bitcoin which needs richest or make someone richest rather it's the richest who needs bitcoin and it's other people who need bitcoin to improve their standard of living, control over their money rather than regulators having access to their asset.

Again Bitcoin is not a ponzi get rich quick scheme it was designed to make our life and transactions easier but it's used as an investment medium.

If Bitcoin alone then no because it have a limited supply but with the help of other crypto then there is a chance.
But who would risk their Billion Net Worth on crypto?
Billionaire's wouldn't put everything they have in crypto so I don't think that crypto could make someone the richest person in the world.

It's too early to do research. Bitcoin was seriously talked about in 2017, before that it was not interesting for most investors.

Actually, Bitcoin can make someone the richest in the world I think. Because it is a volatile cryptocurrency like others. It was worthless once but now we are talking about 18-19k dollars. I think it has the potential to do much better than this. So, we could see the richest person in the world who will make it with Bitcoin in the future.

If you bought Bitcoin when it is at its lowest price of at least you are mining at that time and holding of your Bitcoins up until now then you might be "ONE" of the richest in the world but not the richest one.

After all it will depend on how you trusted Bitcoin and how much did you invest. Bitcoin can be used to be rich but still there are some factors in it like how good are you in investing or at least trading since it is easier to get rich there.

Businessmen don't depend on a single investment only, its just that the one you investigated doesn't have any investments on Bitcoin at all but maybe in the future who knows and now that more institutions are investing into it he might think of investing too.

I think it is impossible for someone to become the richest person in the world because of bitcoin at this time
At the current price of bitcoin you need to have at least around 20 million bitcoins to match Jeff Bezos' wealth
but it is different if what you highlight is altcoins it is very possible that there are people who can become the richest people in the world because they do not depend on 1 asset

This is the problem with you people,You are comparing Bitcoin to any business though this is far different from each other.

Bitcoin is a currency and must be use as payment method,The problem is the nature in which the early adopters Made big Money just by Holding thats why People inside crypto tend to Keep holding for a chance of becoming instant millionaire.

But your point is correct that Richest people might not know or not investing in crypto But they continue to get richer.
While people inside this market are still seeking for a Jackpot that their coin will Go mooning and their Money will multiplied by hundreds.

I dont think anyone will become richest person in the world just by investing in bitcoin, you have to think why would anyone put all his money in one place with soo much volatility.Currently Jeff Bezos richest man in the world have net worth of 190 billion dollars you would need atleast 10 to 11 million bitcoins to match that price and I dont think that much bitcoin would be with a individual.All the top rich persons have business and investments in many fields, with bitcoin you might can become rich but not the richest.

The act of holding Bitcoin is considered an investment by itself and taking into account the ROI multiples one can make in just a few years I'd say that one can become very rich without leveraging their Bitcoins on other investments.

Of course that you could get a loan using BTC as collateral and use that money for other profitable endeavors, but this way you increase the risk.

I think the term we should use here is WEALTHY, not rich. Someone can win the lottery and be rich, but someone like that will likely slowly lose its net worth because he does not know how to manage that kind of money. He will most likely buy a mansion and two-three super-expensive cars.

If eventually one person sells 13 million bitcoins today he/she would overtake Jeff Bezoz to be the world richest person. That will be very fatal to Bitcoin and the economy. The richest man in Africa maybe a businessman but it certain that he diverse his investment commodity and the last time i checked most of the billionaires prefer Gold above fiat. However, if he investment in Bitcoin he won't tell you because 90% of Bitcoin whales don't publicly declare they are Bitcoin enthusiast or investors.

Its undoubtedly that having a single token of bitcoin was a real high worth if it would exchange in fiat. But knowing the richest man alive on earth could possibly be by just dealing full time in bitcoin i bet would take for some time though it isn't impossible but the legalization of bitcoin would be a big factor for it. As far as i know becoming a richest man shouldn't have to focus in a one kind of platform of investment and that's how the richest man alive today does.
