ETH ideal transaction fee using MEW?

i tried sending about $50 to someone using the browser extension of MEW on firefox. i pick the fast transaction that the MEW set for users and the gas is about $1.10, but why do i get the error " Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas] "?

i tried slow, average and fast all transactions didn't went thru so i want to use the advance option, how much should the ideal fee to put for transaction to go?

It's so frustrating to see this kind of eth fee situation unlike the old days that I can send fund immediately. Right now it felt not normal, since that went so bad because we need to gas up so high in order to send coins successfully. I am hoping that erc20 network will soon correct this scenario to avoid holders pulling out from this coin as their asset and divert to other altcoins.

Try using MEW wallet on  smartphone, usually extinction or mew web wallet requires some settings, or use trust wallet,
On smartphone all settings will be automatic, and I am sure you will not find such a warning, if you encounter the same problem when using a wallet on smartphone I am sure the problem is that your funds are insufficient.

Many has encountered this problem and if you look up in google or reddit for example you just need to increase the gas limit NOT the gas price just remember to keep some eth left for paying gas don't left nothing at all.
Or maybe if there's automatic feature to set the gas then should just use that instead, most of the time it does thing just right and don't need to complicate yourself.

use trust wallet was be good experience for me, so far there is no problem when i send ethereum or ethereum token using it . gas fee will automaticly set and transaction will confirmed on average speed, its not too fast or too low. ofcourse when problem occur, we need to check our balance, it will be problem source for it.

I also often experience this when using MyEtherWallet even though I have used the correct gwei. I prefer you to use MetaMask, because it's easier than MEW, we don't need to adjust the gas

I never got this warning, I also always used the gas recommendation given by MEW and managed to send a token, usually a warning like that happens if the gas limit is too small, maybe you can add another gas limit, or maybe at that time Mew was experience an error

that's what i did actually. its their recommendation but the result is still out of gas error.  i have to set at least $3 for like 5100 GWEI same as the price for uniswap transaction from USDT to ETH.

a friend says to avoid this situation is to not make transaction while eth's price if rallying. there will be changes to its price and what could be the fast transaction right that very moment might not be the fastest in the next second. all in all i paid at least 8USD to finally make it. this is nothing like the previous ETH, ETH2.0 failed.

I also experience things like your complaints and what you have to do right now is to download the application on google play store and try to enter your private key and try to send it all back to normal and it will definitely be sent properly you have to import in the application at mew it happened because of an error and had to load the mobile metamask.

The problem is you don't have enough ETH in your wallet to pay for transaction fee. Deposit more ETH to that wallet, and you will be fine.

Check the average fee at least for your transactions ETH/ERC20 - Check and select good Gas price

Mistakes in transactions Eth always impose lower gas prices or choose standard gas for confirmation, so block transactions are not stable to be confirmed, so in my opinion if you want to be confirmed quickly, you should first check fuel costs with https://ethgasstation.info/ so you can see how much it will cost to quickly confirm by the miner so you don't have to wait long.

Use this tracker to find the recommended transaction fee for ethereum network and currently 86 gwei is the fastest amount to be set.If you are still facing the issue then there maybe some issues with the extension not with actual transaction.

I usually use the mentioned URL or https://ethgasstation.info to check current gas fees and then use standard fees to send. Imtoken has a way to set gwei and gas limit depending on user preference and current gas fee. I think it doesn't matter whether sending from MEW, TRUST wallet, imtoken or metamask, most important thing is using required gas fees for the transaction and there won't be delay issues. Actually I only set gwei and gas limit when the transaction is very important or urgent.

I use Ethereum Gas Price Extension for chrom, but it is also available for other browsers, very compact, fast and convenient

The error message happens because you are trying to send the ETH or tokens to the contract address. AFAIK, contract addresses require a higher fee compared to normal ETH transactions but you can check the fees on gas explorer websites.

Transaction cost is indeed becoming a problem on the ethereum network and hence I stopped doing transaction in ETH recently and started to use XRP as the main currency for small transactions. ETH as a cryptocurrency is amazing no doubt but I am afraid if the current fees problems are not solved soon small scale traders and transactions might dry up very soon.

I always used ETH as an alternative for BTC because it was fast and required low fees but both the features are not suitable right days.

I simply used Trust wallet because whenever I tried to use MEW or metamask and tried to edit fees I usually ended up in a headache.

sometimes I also forget to set again for Gas fees on NEW transactions. maybe there was an error or I could have used a higher cost because I forgot to replace it. because seeing ethereum there has also been an obstacle that makes transaction fees so increased that it even touches $ 4 more for each ethereum network transaction. of course sometimes people will forget to replace it.

I think you use lower fees transaction for sending your coin, need above $1 fee if you want to get your transaction sending is success, its not matter with how much coin send to other wallet but depend with gas transaction rule, when checking ethgass and get above normal and fast transaction above 100 you need get more than 0.003 eth as payment fees transaction, I think right now fast transaction on 131 and you need more than 0.003 if you sent coin and take more than $2 for one time sending, I use mew and always get information fees for sending by checking ethgassinfo, how much eth needed to send coin to other wallet, if ethgass get higher fee I am waiting early morning to get lower fees transaction than other time.

Yes, the solution is like that, but if someone doesn't want to bother because they are afraid of failing transactions via the Ethereum platform, then just let the wallet system determine the fees automatically, so the transaction will clearly not fail.

We can sent depend with fees transaction setting on myetherwallet without checking on ethgasstation first because myetherwallet will get the same fee depend with ethgasstation, maybe the user have change to get lower fee transaction although right now we need more than 0.0004 eth for one transaction. He try to get little fees during right now have to use higher fees for transaction, better if you wanna sent your coin waiting for payment fees transaction back normal with lower price and you only need 0.001 is enough for sending, but you have waiting for awhile because almost one month gass eth transaction always up.

That's right, if you look at the days when bitcoin and altcoin went down, the cost of GAS reached 500 GWEI. so I couldn't make the transaction because the fees were over $ 42.

I read an article a few weeks ago that ethereum 2.0 will solve some important issues that are currently giving users a hard time, and one of them is the gas fee issue. I also believe that ethereum 2.0 is capable of making a significant difference because they have better structures and protocols

When using metamask I always set up everything to trade at normal speed and I realize that it doesn't take too long and the fees are not too expensive (always under 1 $).
