Earlier today, I came accross this post from Myfe:

Is it possible to create a PGP Signature from any wallet address?

I appreciate the Kleopatra tutorial, but I don't use Kloepatra and I shouldn't have to use a new wallet simply to sign my wallet address...right?

Thanks.

The username sounded familiar, so after some scrolling, I remembered that he had been a representative for Freebitco.in. It surprised me a bit that a former representative from a crypto company mixed such concepts, but that's no crime and definately no proof, but I decided to do some digging just in case, and boy did I find something:

First of all, this 2 accounts are connected:

Myfe
HabBear

Where did I find the connection? In these 2 different addresses:

Code:
1GJL2m5h7oMakRsdaQT3QQ4XzyFnKQwbCQ
3GemtDLiuUDGKXqPxckP1gZrsroCHTZdMs

1GJL2m5h7oMakRsdaQT3QQ4XzyFnKQwbCQ

This address was used to make signature campaign applications by both users; last time it was used by each profile:

Myfe January 18, 2020
HabBear January 17, 2020

3GemtDLiuUDGKXqPxckP1gZrsroCHTZdMs

This one was a little dirty slippery bitch; it was ONLY used by Myfe to make an application to the chipmixer campaign here. But the address had 0.5BTC, and hadn't been used before in the forum (not something odd, but let's check just in case...). Blockchair showed that that address had only received funds from the address used by.... Chipmixer! And his application had been rejected; so checking the spreadsheet, I found that from rounds 39 to 99, Hubbear used that same address.

The application post from Myfe was made while Hubbear was enrolled (and using that same address, lol). Darkstar_ would most likely have noticed that, but this is already an attempt to cheat the campaign.

Post quality hasn't declined, but Hubbear does have a fluent/correct english, so it'd most certainly be something doable.

What I think happened
I believe that Myfe left the forum some years ago, and after being abandoned, it was hacked. User Hubbear bought that account in an attempt to cheat in the chipmixer campaign, because the first post after the inactivity was that application. Both users did also wake up in January, 2020; both to join signature campaigns. It could also be that both accounts are hacked and bought, but since only one of them had its password reset; I don't think that's the case

I believe these are indeed the same two people. The posting style is too similar for them not to be. I remember HabBear used to annoy the fuck outta people in either Meta or collectibles as well... Roll Eyes

He should be booted from the chipmixer if still in it... Roll Eyes

@Darkstar ??

Disclaimer: I care not about being in any campaign, I merely read the evidence and did my own research/speculation here.

He got the boot on round 99 for (my educate guess) being inactive and some negative trust he had received

I went back and looked just for the Chipmixer connection. Habbear was removed in round 79 which would be 104 weeks ago. What I think happened was Habbear was removed for Negative trust, and then they applied with their ALT. I have no idea beyond that about that about any connections but it's reasonable that both accounts are controlled by the same person. Now I don't know if they were always the same person or not, but below the application you can see jackg say "good to see you back if that is you"

Have to disagree, I see him on week 99 on the line 59 of the spreadsheet.

Habbear received the last payment on 2019-01-13; whereas the application from Myfe was done on the November 25, 2018. Besides, considering the on this payment a couple of posts above the application the 3GemtDLiuUDGKXqPxckP1gZrsroCHTZdMs address is already being used by Habbear, I think it's pretty safe to asume that he tried to enroll simultaneously.

Logically thinking, If I look at the addresses used by: @Myfe & @HabBear, their posts are also new.
@Myfe: posting dated January 18, 2020.
@HabBear: posting on January 17, 2020.
as you say.

Meaning that it still uses the same address in 2020.
You can say @Myfe only has one full page of the difference from that address.
And also with @HabBear a difference of four pages from their last post address.

I showed the address.
User: Myfe
Address: 1GJL2m5h7oMakRsdaQT3QQ4XzyFnKQwbCQ

Thank you!

Continued, if viewed from BPIP @Myfe wake up 18/1/2020, have reset the password 11/21/2020.
And while @HabBear, wake up on 17/1/2020, password has not changed.

If matched with the post BTC address they use and they wake up from sleep, there has been no detailed change from them to post.
I'm sure they both Myfe & HabBear are still controlled by one person.

Back to the point, if you believe they both were hacked or sold.
My strong suspicion leads to the "sale" of the possibility of Myfe & HabBear being held by the second party, the first party selling after he was fired from Chipmixer.

Their initial posts changed drastically after waking up.

Were there payments in between. It's kinda coming back to me but like I said he was removed for negative trust. It then makes sense that he got reinstated when you look at the trust for Habbear there are neutrals that replace previous negatives.

Here is a post that shows the wheels in motion prior to the Myfe application. I believe after a few weeks Habbear was reinstated to the campaign once the feedback was cleared.

All I'm saying is that there doesn't seem to be an overlap of the accounts participating and applying at the same time. Could be reasonable that they bough the account thinking their main was going to become trash, but no proof it changed hands, and wasn't theirs all along.

Edit: They were removed for one week.  no payment #79, off sheet #80 and were back on the spreadsheet week 81

Post surrounding their leave, so funny

Yep, I'm checking the spreadsheet once again; but it's a pain in the ass because there's no date reference on each week... but they do most certainly overlap.

There's no reason to believe both accounts weren't controlled by the same person in first place, but I don't see a posting gap in habbears post history, compared to the one from Myfe when he left and stopped being the freebitcoin rep.

Besides, why leave a position that would presumably pay good out of a sudden, but still post with the other account?

This would be a good address to use to sign a message to prove ownership. Since it holds 0.5 BTC, you can be pretty sure the address hasn't been sold with the account.

But whose ownership would it prove?

If Habbear signs the message, he is also showing that the Myfe account had been (is) under his control.

If Myfe signs it, well, it does also prove the multiaccounting

If they both provide some willy wonka argument as to why they can't access the address.... it's 0,5BTC! So it'd be safe to assume both accounts changed hands

And the same happens for the 1GJL2m5h7oMakRsdaQT3QQ4XzyFnKQwbCQ altough it has no funds

He also has a habit of saying this
For your consideration

I seek your consideration to join the campaign.

For your consideration, I'd like to apply to your campaign. I've been absent for a while but i'm back now and have a significant history with this forum.

For your consideration...
...
I've been away for a while. But i'm back now, and will be for good. I've been missing too much good talk and news here! Anyway, when you have a spot, i'm ready. Look through pages of solid posts to get an idea of what you're getting with me. Thank you.

Hi DarkStar, for your consideration...

For your consideration.
.....
I've been out of the game for several months, had a baby actually, and i'm now finally able to devote proper time to this community. I've been involved with Bitcoin Forum for a long time. I've been a participant in several campaigns, most recently with Chipmixer before I went on hiatus. I'd enjoy getting back into this with you and Earnbet. I'll never be a hassle.

Thanks.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi, i'd love to join!

Bitcoitalk Name: HabBear
Thanks for your consideration!

Both accounts are definitely now under the control of one person.

From here, while applying for Chipmixer signature campaign, he claimed that he was just a community manager for Freebitco.in but I doubt if that's true

I've been absent from the forum for a stretch, however I previously served as the Community Manager for the freebitco.in faucet and bitcoin exchange wallet. I'm back. I'm hungry. I want to rep ChipMixer in the best way.

That part was true, Myfe was the CM for freebitco.in for some time, but dissappeared overnight; leaving the current CM position to TheQuinn

Now, whether the person behind the account the account was the same.... That's what we are currently debating

Hey @Csmiami,

I just noticed the negative trust you gave me and obviously came to this thread. How do we sort this out? I don't want to be subject of a negative trust rating.

(1) This is not a hacked account. Frankly, you're not offering any proof that it is a hacked account so I shouldn't have to prove it to you...but how do you want me to prove it to you?

(2) I did serve as the Community Manager for Freebitco.in a few years back. I responded to questions people left on both of wetsuits Freebitco.in threads. After several months (maybe a year?) wetsuit decided to end our working relationship.

(3) I have been away from the forum for months at times, life happens.

I don't appreciate all the accusations. Or you calling me a "little dirty slippery bitch."

So what's the problem you have with me and how do we get it resolved?

Myfe.

Giving some reasonable explanation regarding the 2 address connections on OP could be a start

I rather you did, just to be sure and all. Could you sign a message from address: 3GemtDLiuUDGKXqPxckP1gZrsroCHTZdMs ?

That was not in doubt, although it nice to know what happened back then; I remember that happening overnight and had always been curious about it.

I was actually calling that to the address, not you....

But basically... explanation and/or signed message would make everything go away

Considering your request, may take me a day or two to respond completely. Work keeps me busy and I want to consider whether your interest in resolving this is genuine. There are people on this forum that will fuck over other members for no better reason other than they can have power behind anonymity.

Everything with me is above board, i've done nothing wrong to anyone here. And i'd like to still exist in this community.

Questions

(1) This is not a hacked account. Frankly, you're not offering any proof that it is a hacked account so I shouldn't have to prove it to you...but how do you want me to prove it to you?

Why do you want me to sign a message from this address specifically?

But basically... explanation and/or signed message would make everything go away

What assurance do I have that you'll follow through? I have zero leverage. Have we ever even interacted on this forum before (I don't think we have, but maybe i'm wrong.) According to this thread you saw a recent post, for some reason that gave you interest, and then you started mining through old posts and transactions.

Why am I a target for you? Why do you attack with negative trust? You have to understand where i'm coming from. Negative trust is a bullet through the heart in this community, any anyone can use it as a weapon with limited to zero accountability to accuracy.

I'm glad you're willing to talk.

It's one of the few old addresses I could find posted by you. It does have some balance, so I guess it will be accessible

What assurance do I have that you'll follow through? I have zero leverage. Have ever even interacted on this forum before (I don't think we have, but maybe i'm wrong.) According to this thread you saw a recent post, for some reason that gave you interest, and then you started mining through old posts and transactions.

Why am I a target for you? Why do you attack with negative trust? You have to understand where i'm coming from. Negative trust is a bullet through the heart in this community, any anyone can use it as a weapon with limited to zero accountability to accuracy.

I'm glad you're willing to talk.
You have no assurance, but what do I get out of this?
And yeah, from time to time some profiles get me curious and I do some digging around, sometimes strange stuff is found, others not. I'm honestly not interested in forum politics, but I like to keep the place clean
