The current crypto market is exciting as everyone is happy that new funds are being pumped into the space, investors are making profits and people are aiming for new ATH for bigger profits. I  remind us all not to forget to take profits, cut your greed and find new opportunities. Never be emotional about any project, buy when it's right, sell when it's right.

In general there are a lot of skeptics in the market right now, but i think people are starting to become more greedy in this market and that is giving positive signals from the market and the market is attracting a lot of new people to join it. Hopefully what we are aiming for will come true soon.

Greed is one of the human nature，to be honest，it is very hard to overcome，buy we can set a target，when the price hit the target and sell it without hesitation. Besides ，If we get too emotional when we trade，this can greatly impair our judgment and lead to bad decisions.

Simple as it is. It good to also know that you cant make all the gains in a single trade. Anyone that can follow will be satisfied and not fall into any greediness trap.

In general, every human being is difficult to be satisfied with whatever he has got, including me too, because all humans have a deeper desire to live their lives, so that this desire sometimes cannot be controlled properly which causes everyone to be greedy.

These are two different things that any body that want to go in to trading should never try to have , because at the long run you will definitely have yourst to blame. Emotional, you must be ready to your emotions in check and probably put it aside when you want to enter any trade, be it crypto or forex. And greediness, don't ever try to make all the profit in a day. If you do, you must be prepared to loose everything you have worked hard for. Just few days ago I lost close to $200 on forex due to greediness. I want to make all the money in just a day. I learnt my lesson in a hard way though. I guess that's what life is all about. We learn everyday.

It's a big hindrance to proper decision making, our mind should lead not our emotion.

I've been to that situation many times, I got greedy, was thinking of my future that I'll retire if the amount hit high per my prediction, but it only made me loss more because I missed the opportunity to sell, I could have still make a decent profit, but I didn't pull the trigger.

I just keep it as a learning experience, next time I won't do stupid things, like being greedy.

Humans are greedy by nature, what we have to do is just to control that greed in order for us to make a good decision. Personally I've been greedy once in my life, particularly the last bull run but I have learn and I will not do the same mistakes again when the altcoins season will come.

I agree with your principles, but for now in my opinion the price of cryptocurrency can still increase very high, because I see only a few cryptocurrency whose prices have increased very high, so the possibility that the price of other cryptocurrency will increase definitely happen too and of course it will make the market run into a bull run, so that it will make all cryptocurrency prices increase very high, but of course no one can predict the future state of the market and hopefully there will be no bear run like what happened in 2018.

Sometimes greediness makes you earn huge profit but still not good to be greedy it is risky action, instead of earning huge profit but losing money in the end. It's normal for beginners experience being greedy and emotion in crypto but learn to control if you don't want to lose money always.

changing the coins we want to invest in is very good, focusing on one coin alone will not bring you more profit.  Just imagine if you have been profitable from HODL Bitcoin for this year then you sell your OIN then buy ETH (example) then ETH is bullish and touches ATH, you've made a good decision..

in case you're putting resources into some new task, shitcoins and so forth and so on well this sound like betting yet it's consistently a methodology with a high chance of misfortune.

I agreed with you on how greediness spoilt some of my profitable trades I was expected to take  profit and leave unfortunately the market moved against me under my watchful eye the trade was stopped out imagine losing some decent profits due to greediness, this is a big caution to investors, this is the right time to take some profits and leave the rest to run, I hope the event of 2017 will not play out this time around, I remembered then some prediction of the price of bitcoin reaching $50K unfortunately price dumped and losses were incurred and disappointment and regret was the other of the day.

This is like a hard challenge for everyone to control themselves. But most people have the ambition to get it faster. No need to be more emotional or be Greedy. You should be a more technical and fundamental person while you are in trading. Just wait for the best rate to load your bag and once an acceptable position appears, you must take some of your profit. Otherwise, you are just aside from a long-term holder by nothing taking into your pocket.

I was once greedy, I was also ambitious if I would have a lot of money but in the end I lost a lot of money because of that greed
now I agree with what the OP said because it is a wise sentence and should be done by everyone. it is not easy to do that but we must try not to regret it
