You have been scammed by phishing website. Do not send any more money to them, just count your losses.

The domain information from whois shows that the website was recently created
https://www.whois.com/whois/yobit.in

Code:
Domain Name: yobit.in
Registry Domain ID: DE938B3E2D236413DBBDE3159DCA9752D-IN
Registrar WHOIS Server:
Registrar URL: https://publicdomainregistry.com/
Updated Date: 2020-11-03T19:27:06Z

Registry Expiry Date: 2021-10-29T19:27:05Z

The scam website isn't even anywhere close looking like the original yobit. How on earth did you fail to know how yobit.io or yobet.net looks like?

How yobit.in looks like

How yobit.io(orignal) looks like

Don't expect too much there is no exchange that will give you 1 BTC for $300 and there is no exchange that will ask for the first payment before you are able to withdraw your BTC.
Most of the scam exchange is always ask for the first deposit but even you pay them you can't be able to withdraw.

The bad part they still have your passport that they can use anytime for scamming purposes or anything that they can make money.
Next time don't use the newly registered domain and always research first and ask here on the forum before you use them.

What the heck are these lowly scammers thinking? They are creating a phishing site out of a scam site. My goodness! If I were to create a phishing site I would choose the likes of Binance or Kraken. At least with their reputation I might mislead a few careless newbie traders. But Yobit? Who would choose to trade even on the official Yobit platform?

no i actually dont send them anything apart my KYC passport. i mean hopeful they are still normal humans and dont sell my pass.

1. They might not sell your passport but they are definitely after both your KYC information and your funds which you did not send. Don't expect them to just collect KYC information for nothing, though. You don't scam and do nothing with what you've scammed out of your victims.

2. There's no "my btc" here. There was no BTC to begin with so don't imagine you've actually got a gift from them.

I would not risk having someone with evil intentions have my data, and with that data you could be greatly damaged financially at any time in the future. My recommendation to you is to cancel that passport and make a new one.

i actually got 1 BTC as a gift for competition. its result on my account and i am happy to have got it., now they ask me 300 dollars or 0,02 btc for address confirmation after that they will give me my coin. what the hack? u give me 18 tausend actuall price of btc. an i dont find any of information on Web about them.

This is a very common scam, and anyone with any experience on this forum will tell you that you will never get a single satoshi, let alone 1 BTC. Take this as a good lesson, and again if you want you can hope to get that 1 BTC as if money is falling from the sky Cheesy

You can find a bunch of accusation on this board against yobit exchange https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

This is shady exchange, and you have felt it. So do you consider that this exchange is legit?

You will have your own answer, also that is an old way to scam people. They are offering a giveaway but when we got the reward we have to send our money first to them ans this is unrealistic thing. You should be carefull and stay away from this exchange as possible.

You should have asked them to deduct the 0.02 btc to the 1 btc that you've "won"? It will be interesting to see their response after that.

What's also strange is that you immediately gave them your passport and only suspected it's a scam after they asked you for money.
You could searched for them first before joining any of their "competition".

I'm not so sure of this. I wonder how the word yobit is considered generic.

That's pointless. If you ask them that, you will most probably receive the same response from them, specifically that they need to get that 0.02BTC from you first as a form of "external wallet verification procedure."

Please, don't expect anything from this scam! This is 100% scam! Please don't fool yourself! You want to have 1 BTC, either you buy or work for it! But never ever expect that it will just just be given to you as if 1 BTC is just a piece of rock. Quite frankly, it is easier to have someone so beautiful falling in love with you out of the blue than a whole 1 BTC given away to random people.

Darker45, I really thought that the OP would realize that money doesn't fall from the sky, and that someone gives someone as much as $18 000 just like that. Somehow it seems to me that this is going to end badly for OP, because although the whole thing is more than obvious scam, some don't believe it until they get burned.

You should listen to our advice if you want to save 0.02 BTC, but if you think we are not telling the truth, then unfortunately you will learn the hard way.

If that's what it takes for OP to learn a very precious lesson not just in crypto but in life in general, then so be it. He/she must have thought the 1 BTC is real because it looks like it is already within reach. After all, he/she can already see it in his/her account balance. And that's a lot of money.

Well, lucky for the OP, it seems he/she doesn't have 0.02 BTC to spare. Wink

This is an obvious scam. You just got 1 BTC as a gift from them? don't expect that it's a real thing. They can manipulate the balance on your account because they are the owner of that fake exchange, although the actual doesn't seem to be a good exchange.

It is a typical scam that they will ask you for a deposit for you to get the balance that you can see on your account. If you ask them to just deduct it from the existing balance, they'll decline that request. Don't be deluded Turetur, that 1 BTC is not real.

after all the warnings here, you are still dealing with these scammers. what exactly did you not understand when others wrote to you that it was already a well-known scam scheme? Even and original Yobit is also a scam.
btw. Did you pay them 0.02 to get "your" 1BTC?

He only wants this:

I really see one BTC on my account and i want have it!!!!

With the new wave of people who get into the crypto-related stuff I start to understand them, they are used to the traditional stuff, having deals only with bank accounts and PayPal accounts so all he can see is that he has an account on a platform which shows he owns ~30 000$ and he wants to get it.
At this point with his constant refusal to understand that the website can load his virtual account with any sums the admin wants, probably he is a lost cause, the only positive thing in this is that I doubt he has the 0.02 to pay the scammers if this could be a positive at all.

~

Let me try one more time, hope this time you will understand!
You will not see a penny from that website! They will give you nothing, and what's more every document you send them will probably be sold on the darknet to another scammer.
Just LET IT GO!

..

after all the warnings here, you are still dealing with these scammers. what exactly did you not understand when others wrote to you that it was already a well-known scam scheme? Even and original Yobit is also a scam.
btw. Did you pay them 0.02 to get "your" 1BTC?

Hi dear ,
yes for sure, we are here course we are united under same idea> make money , work less, have more freedom from mad gone pedofile elite and have a fucking island in Moldive!
so yes , i know and you are right. But if you give me now a BTC i will accept it likely! =) I started in 2012 with mining on my old old HP notebook and sure that toy / playing games and click ad bullshit, i bought some and at the end i had 200 BTC on my account ! I were young and stupid, i thought after reading a lot of bullshit on internet and forums that the price will go down course it were only investment bobble. and nobody care about a new storage possibility , a tech from 95. I sold it for 1000 dollar my friend  and still hate me for dat!

I followed a lot of projects and had a small gpu rig and have done something for this community and movement. Still believe in free world and people that are educated enough for managing it!
I would do more for ICT and information scharing if i could to. But for now im still a normal worker, i still dont manage to grow properly to fully understand the making money mashine ! =))

Here the same > new exchange, airdrop and now the free BTC =) I want it!!

So if somebody want to invest and support my dream , i wuold invite you to spend some Crypto >

I tried to login on my old account there and this is what I've received in my email.

Quote from: mailer@yobit.net
Warning!!! Do check Yobit domain in your browser, our domains: yobit.net, yobit.io, yobitex.net. If you enter your login/password at other site, your money can be stolen by hackers, and we cant help you!

Why not just give up on that? that's not even the legit one and even it's the legit, they won't give you that much amount.
