[ANN] Cryptodeck (hearts) + JOKER (AUCTION DATE ANNOUNCED)

Man....... The virus REALLY slowed things down on these!

I finally have something to show you all.


First off, here is the initial design view of the King.  If anything, this shows a level of detail which may not be apparent at first glance. This image was takes MONTHS ago so obviously, im not still at this stage.



Next up is an image of all the cards straight after the laser etching process. You can see just how rough and ugly these are when the come off the machine. Not nice to look at and they have a LONG way to go from here!



And a closer look....... You can see how sooty and burned these are, they are also horrible to the touch and rough round the edges. At this stage, the cards had aldo not had the corners radiused.




Right now, the cards are in the hands of a trusted polisher in Glasgow and have already been fully hallmarked so aftee he is finished with these, i can finally get them listed amd start the auction madness.

Here is a look at an Ace which was completed recently. You can really see the difference a good polish makes!

The super sleuths among you may be wondering why there are two aces. The reason for this is because one is a reject and will NOT be included in the auction!



So there we are. That's where im at with these at the moment. I will set an optimistic target of having these available for auction next week but we will see what happens...... Its all in the hands of a goldsmith just now who is polishing them.

That's an interesting observation, and a completely valid one. The truth of the matter is, as much as i was careful with the visuals on these, there was certain aspects of the graphic design i failed to take into consideration. Good spot 👍

I really should have mentioned this.......... There will be a raffle for Joker #2, no hunt this time!

1 purchase on ANY of the previous cards in the Cryptodeck OR in the upcoming auction will net you 1 ticket. Only primary sales will be considered so if you have purchased one on the secondary market, im afraid it won't count!

To clarify so far there were 39 cards and 13 coming makes 52 cards.

So any one that won a card auction for gets a ticket?

How about those that won multiple auctions?

more then one ticket ?
a ticket for each one they won at your auctions?

how about the guy that won the other joker?

do you give him a ticket?

how about the defective ace of hearts 💕?

a seperate auction for it and winner gets a ticket?

lastly you had a blank card auction do they get a ticket?

3-The owner of the reject which was individually auctioned


The reject Ace which i have displayed will probably be auctioned off post auction so the winner of that will not be eligible for a ticket. The only way around that would be to run a separate auction running parallel to the main one with the same  start and end time.  Dunno how people would feel about this......

The previous Joker winner will not be given a ticket as it was a free venture to find it (maybe expensive in the heartache and hassle it caused)

Thank you for the explanation.  So about 52+3=55 so far I have 1 ticket for the six of clubs.
